Reborn Regress Return: I Am the Heir of Shadows!-Chapter 85: Awakening, an improved mindset.
'I can hear them laughing, joking...' The sound of Maria and Sena echoed through the apartment. Their delighted laughs sounded like bells jingling a comfortable wake-up call for Julian, who stirred in the bed.
"Ngh..."
Stabbing pains spread through his body, making him feel delicate, rolling over. He looked over at the clock and noticed it was almost 9 pm.
"I seem to have survived, haha."
His head throbbed with pain as images and memories of what had happened flashed through his mind, images of Sena in the past, Maria in the dungeon, Fran... Sena in the mall and various other scenes from his three lives... 'eh? Who was that?' A slight fragment appeared in a ruined landscape with soft golden hair and blue eyes.
Julian covered his eyes, the light causing a dull ache, but he couldn't grasp the memory that began to fade like a fleeting dream. All he could remember was a broad back with blond hair... and blue eyes.
"Haa..." With a long sigh, he dragged himself off the bed.
"Why am I naked?"
Unable to move well because he felt numb and stiff. Maybe the medicine pasted on his body, or that was just how serious his injuries might have been.
"Julian?"
A soft voice rang from behind him as Maria opened the door to look into the room. Her face twisted in concern and then relief when she saw him standing, but her eyes couldn't help but admire his form. "You really must be feeling better, with that thing looking so healthy." She chuckled at his erect member.
"Did you have a pleasant dream?" Sena's face appeared from beside Maria as they came into her room.
"No... I think the pleasant dream is happening right now thank you, both of you."
Julian noticed their worried gazes, so he made a joke with them, his sly smile causing the two women to blush, but they looked relieved at his words.

"Maria, my dear friend, could you make us some tea?"
"Hm?"
"I need to talk with Julian."
"Oh!"
With a slightly awkward tone, Maria nodded and then, slipping the door closed, she left the two alone. Julian gazed at her; she lingered, hesitating for a moment before she stepped closer.
"Sena?"
"Did I do alright?"
"Eh? Of course! You were amazing... Why are you crying?"
Tears welled up in Sena's eyes as she stepped forward and hugged him tightly, pushing him down onto the bed, causing him to groan, but he held it inside, trying not to worry her.
He couldn't help but wrap his arms around her back, stroking her hair softly as tears dripped on his chest. He realised they weren't sad, nor bitter... just happy that he was alright. "Sena, it's ok... I won't die or leave you."
"Julian..." Her hands gripped his back, her lips brushing against his neck.
"You smell so sweet... is this medicine?"
"It tastes terrible but smells great," Julian answered.
Her lips curled into a smile as she laughed, but her soft opal eyes narrowed, gazing at his face. "You are stupid... why face that alone?" She said in a hushed voice, kissing the edge of his lips before whispering into them.
"Do you think I would ever let you die alone again?"
"Ah... Sena..." His lips trembled as he spoke, but before he could say anything else, Sena kissed him.
Julian's hands stroked her back, finding their way to her hips, sliding down her thighs while the other slipped through her hair, wrapped around the back of her head as Sena parted his lips with hers, a soft heat blowing into his mouth as she began to move her tongue along his front teeth and then inside.
"Mmmph..."
She pressed her body closer, noticing his hard erection poking at her abdomen as her tongue explored his mouth.
However, this wasn't a kiss for that reason, but a sign of her relief and how much she loved him. Her hand slipped around it, gently stroking his delicate place. It wasn't the focus for either of them as passion overwhelmed the two. Facing such a heated battle, this was the first moment they got to interact with each other.
The smouldering flame in Sena's abdomen exploded, and she lost her reason to hold back.
"Nnnmmm... I thought you might die."
"I won't... not again." Julian gasped as he spoke, feeling like his mind was swimming with her saliva and soft lips giving him life.
"Nn... you are really energetic despite just waking up... it's throbbing in my hands."
"That's because you're so sexy."
"Really?"
"Ah... really."
Their conversation was hushed, as if they didn't wish Maria to hear what they were saying, but she didn't seem to care, sitting alone while watching the drama and knowing something would probably happen between them.
Around fifteen minutes later, she noticed Sena sneaking out of the room while holding her clenched hand and dashing into the bathroom. "What's she doing?"
A moment later, the calm and relaxed Julian stepped into the living room with a simple robe wrapped around his body, though he didn't wear anything underneath it.
Maria caught a sly glance before smirking at Sena, who returned with a slightly red face and sat beside Julian quietly.
"It seems you managed to release your frustrations, Julian. Did it feel good?"
"Ack..." Sena shuddered and glared at Maria, who teased her.
"It was amazing."
"Julian!"
The two women couldn't look at him, their cheeks flushing pink from the sudden honesty that he just put out there.
'Well... should we speak now?"
Julian added with a smile, seeming to make the situation like this on purpose. After the ice shattered into pieces, he looked at both women, sat on either side of him. He placed a hand on their thighs, stroking both women with a wry smile.
"Isn't there a lot we should share and a direction we should take after this happened?"
Maria looked away while biting her thumb.
"I don't really mind..."
"I know it's nice to say you don't mind, but... we cannot hide anything." Julian spread his arms and hugged both women's shoulders, pulling them closer to him. They gasped and gazed at each other before shifting their gaze to Julian and nodding.
"Sena, are you going to leave your family?"
A sudden and direct question caused her heart to shudder.
Although she had already spoken about this with Maria, the guilt and feelings of dread made her back feel cold, sweat forming as it dripped down her neck.
"I... will warn them again, but that's it."
"I see. That seems fair. Are you feeling guilty?" Julian's hand stroked her shoulder, gently caressing and massing her.
Sena nodded, then gazed into his eyes. "I want to be selfish and help those close to me, but it's not just that... I just can not help them and train hard enough to surpass the demons..."
Maria watched Sena's face, surprised at how honest she became when it was Julian asking questions rather than her.
"I see... then don't. If they seek aid, we can help you. You are not alone this time."
"Hm?"
Sena's brows pinched together as she listened to Julian. "What do you mean?"
"Because you have us..."
He then kissed her forehead before kissing Maria, pushing his luck, but Sena started accepting this situation from the moment she saw him half dead and Maria in a similar situation.
Their souls and lives were tied together, even if she cried and screamed.
"Like right now, you cannot enter the game for another ten hours, it seems almost impossible to be in the game all the time and now... have you noticed the changes, since fighting in the real world?"
Julian realised instantly after waking up.

"Can you see everything?"
"Oh... I can see it now. Sena mentioned this might happen, but I guess she was right."
"Oh?"
Hearing that Sena spoke about this made Julian quite interested, while Maria covered her mouth and the situation became a little tense.
It seemed Sena would have to tell the truth...
