Chapter 435: Chapter 435 Zhuge Feng’s Secret 1(1)_1

Her body twisted uncomfortably. She tried to leave Ye San Shao’s embrace and end the awkward, distressing position. She had barely moved when Ye San Shao tightened his grip, making her acutely aware of his physical reaction. His voice, hoarse and low, resonated in her ear. His breath heated her earlobe. "Girl, sit still and don’t move—you wouldn’t want me to do something you’ll regret." 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Hearing the desire thick in Ye San Shao’s voice and seeing his strained expression, Shangguan You buried her head in his chest, daring not to move.

Inhaling his unique scent, Shangguan You leaned against his chest and slowly closed her eyes. Soon, her breathing became steady. She was truly exhausted today, having been injured and also breaking through to level 5. Besides, Ye San Shao’s presence was deeply comforting, allowing her to sleep peacefully in his arms. Watching Shangguan You use his chest as a pillow, Ye San Shao couldn’t help but shake his head, a gentle smile playing on his lips. He kissed her forehead and then simply gazed at her sleeping face, a soft, almost dazed look in his eyes. He remained motionless, his smile widening as he continued to watch her.

After some time, Ye San Shao gently lifted her into his arms, carried her to the large bed, and tucked her in with a blanket. With a wave of his hands, he cast a protective barrier around Shangguan You. This would allow her to sleep more soundly and also conveniently concealed her form.

Once this was done, Ye San Shao turned. The smile vanished from his face, the deep affection in his eyes replaced by an unfathomable darkness.

"Come out," Ye San Shao commanded, his voice icy, his entire being exuding a chilling aura. With a wave of his hands, he sent a sweeping force towards a corner of the room, his imposing aura flooding the space.

THUD. A shadowy figure emerged from the darkness. Pale-faced and with cold eyes, it was Ye Zhiqiu. Suppressing the blood rushing to his head, he stared at Ye San Shao in disbelief. His gaze then shifted to Shangguan You, sleeping soundly within the barrier, and his hands clenched tightly.

"You’ve been watching the show for quite a while. How was it?" Ye San Shao’s icy gaze softened when he looked at Shangguan You. When he turned back to Ye Zhiqiu, however, his expression hardened, reverting to his characteristic roguish intensity.

"Young Master," Ye Zhiqiu managed, swallowing nervously. He had a thousand things to say, but the image of Ye San Shao’s tenderness toward Shangguan You, and the scene he had just witnessed, made the words catch in his throat.

For the Young Master to treat a woman with such gentleness, even making a promise to her, was not just difficult for him to believe—it would be inconceivable to anyone else as well.

Ye San Shao glanced coolly at Ye Zhiqiu. He found a comfortable spot and leaned back elegantly on the sofa, propping his feet up slightly. With a wave of his hand, a glass of red wine appeared. He swirled the wine, his deep gaze following its movement in the glass.

He said nothing, simply sitting there quietly. His entire being exuded a noble, captivating charm that was impossible to look away from, compelling an urge to submit. Ye Zhiqiu instinctively retreated a few steps. He felt that Ye San Shao’s majesty was such that even approaching him would tarnish his perfect elegance.

Even standing near Ye San Shao, he felt his own insignificance. Twenty years had changed so much. Ye San Shao himself had transformed so profoundly. He was still fundamentally the same person, yet everything and everyone around them had altered. These changes in the Young Master, in particular, filled Ye Zhiqiu with a deep sense of fear and astonishment.

"Did you enjoy the show just now?" A slight smirk touched Ye San Shao’s lips as he elegantly sipped his wine, his voice tinged with languor.

"Young Master," Ye Zhiqiu began, his voice strained. "I... your uncle, just sensed another’s presence and feared for your safety. That’s why I returned to check. I had no intention of spying." He was still unsettled by the side of the Young Master he had just witnessed.

"And what did you think of the show?" Ye San Shao’s languid voice sounded again, his question directed at the heavily perspiring Ye Zhiqiu.

"Young Master, that girl is not worthy of you! Have you forgotten An Ya, waiting for you at home? As for this girl, Young Master, you can play with her if you wish, but she is not qualified to wear the Blood Jade Bracelet!"

"Hmph! An Ya?" Ye San Shao’s voice turned frigid. He flicked the wine goblet toward Ye Zhiqiu.

SPLAT! The red wine drenched Ye Zhiqiu from head to toe. Miraculously, the goblet returned to Ye San Shao’s hand unscathed.

Throughout this, Ye Zhiqiu stood respectfully to the side. He neither dodged nor tried to avoid it, simply enduring Ye San Shao’s wrath. Besides, even if he had wanted to dodge, Ye Zhiqiu lacked the ability to do so.

"Young Master, An Ya served you devotedly for years while you were unconscious! You cannot be ungrateful! You cannot betray An Ya!" Ye Zhiqiu blurted out, mustering his courage.

An Ya was his only daughter. Only a man as exceptional as the Young Master was worthy of her. No one could stop the Young Master from marrying An Ya!

"Ye Zhiqiu, has your time in Hidden World Village made you dull-witted? You think that precious daughter of yours is worthy of me, this Young Master? She ’accompanied’ me for a few years while I was unconscious? Aren’t you afraid of spraining your tongue saying such nonsense?" Ye San Shao’s lips curled into a slight, chilling smile, his tone glacial. He loathed others arranging his affairs, no matter the issue.

The mere thought of Ye An Ya made him want to kill. If that wretched woman dared to pull any stunts, he would be the first to deal with her.

"Young Master, An Ya, she..." Ye Zhiqiu began quickly, wanting to explain, but Ye San Shao cut him off with a roar. "Get out!"

Ye San Shao’s voice turned colder still. With a wave of his hands, a powerful surge of Spiritual Energy erupted from him. "No one dictates my affairs! Who do you think you are? Even as my uncle, you have no right to interfere in my business! Ye An Ya enjoys the glory the Ye Family provides, doesn’t she? Fine, then I’ll make the decision for her. I’ll marry her off to my elder brother. Marrying me or marrying my elder brother—it’s all marrying into the Ye Family. It’s settled. I’ll even personally officiate their wedding."
