After speaking with Vivian Sutton, Selena Kensington hung up the phone.
She checked the time; it was about right.
Selena drove back to the Norwood Family residence.

After the usual dinner, just as Selena was about to go upstairs, Sterling Norwood held her hand.
"What’s up?"
Selena asked him.
Sterling slightly compressed his lips, "I’m taking you somewhere."
He led her out of the main house and drove down the mountain.
Selena curiously gazed at the scenery around them.
Halfway down the mountain, Sterling turned onto a narrow path Selena had never walked before.
The path was so narrow that it allowed only one car to pass.
Especially since the path was concealed by trees on both sides; if you didn’t look closely, you’d never find this road.
In silence, Selena watched as Sterling drove.
It seemed he wanted to tell her something...
As Selena took in the scenery, a huge clearing suddenly appeared before her.
The clearing was filled with rows of houses and many areas that looked like training grounds.
Several buildings with white spires caught Selena’s attention.
That place looked heavily fortified.
Selena vaguely heard sounds of training... and the roars of beasts.
Surrounded by enormous trees, and being at the bottom of a cliff.
Very secluded.
This should be the training camp Sterling previously told her about, of the Norwood family.
Sterling entered and soon met Spencer Norwood.
"Brother, sister-in-law."
Afterwards, Spencer led them around the training camp, heading into the forest behind it.
What met their eyes was a massive statue.
It looked like a tiger with a pair of wings.
Its large, fierce vertical pupils glared menacingly.
It stood at the entrance of the forest, as if suppressing something.
After leading them there, Spencer left.
Selena couldn’t help but ask, "What is this?"
Sterling held her hand and was about to walk inside, "Qiongqi,"
he answered.
"Don’t go!"
Selena clutched his hand; she clearly heard several roars of beasts from within the forest.
Besides, this place was like a primeval forest, and they didn’t know how dangerous it might be inside.
Sterling squeezed her hand, comforted her, "Don’t worry, I’m here."
Sterling’s reassurance made Selena feel much more at ease, but she still remained alert to her surroundings.
"Flowing in my veins... is the bloodline of Qiongqi."
Sterling stated calmly.
Selena, however, didn’t have the attention to process his words as a leopard suddenly emerged from the forest beside them.
It walked with a graceful, powerful stride, its eyes fierce and piercing.
At the same time, Selena noticed many snakes ’hissing...’ wrapped around the trees.

Strangely, Selena wasn’t very afraid of these beasts.
It seemed like... she could vaguely read a certain emotion in that leopard’s eyes.
Was it respect, reverence?
