Francesca smiled. "Do you know that the only one who can open the tome is the author herself?"
"Nya!?" Mimi’s tail and ears drooped. "This means nobody can open it without her, then." She exhaled and pouted. "I just wanted to see the first spell, nya! Papa said the first pages already contain the strongest magic."
Francesca smiled. "If I call the person who wrote it and open it for you, will you promise me you’ll only look at the first page?"

Do you want to know who has already learned skills from it?"
"Nya? Who, Mother-in-law?" Mimi huffed after finally setting the heavy tome down on the table near Francesca.
Francesca smiled gently and placed a finger on her lips, pretending to be deep in thought.
