Jia Yan was his actual target. The two female God Spirits in front of him were secondary. Even though he could see that these two Divine Spirit Creatures seemed to have some unique secrets, likely related to Jia Yan.

But since there was a chance of catching Jia Yan, then why bother with the two female God Spirits when it might not bring any reward?

This Divine King’s power reached the Divine King level, but he definitely could not survive long inside a gamma-ray storm.

And he had his management star zone nearby. If that zone were hit by radiation, it would suffer significant losses.

If he knew beforehand where the gamma-ray storm was heading, even if it wasn’t coming his way, he could sell that information to the place it’s headed for as a significant bargaining chip and favor.

And he also believed with Jia Yan’s travel speed, he would surpass the storm’s speed.

This involves the superreal aspect of a strong one’s flight tools.

The flight speed with a strong one’s tool could exceed the speed of light, even faster than most energy forms in the universe.

Even gamma rays are the same. Their energy is terrifying, but not more than the speed of light, so most who reach the stellar level or above, as long as they aren’t swallowed in an instant, can escape the power of gamma rays.
