Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito-Chapter 1886 - 19: The ’Homecoming’ of the Goat Creature
And although Luo Longsi and several other god-like beings haven’t shown much enhancement in their current abilities, their insights have increased significantly. In the future, when they reach the stage of substantial growth in the De Domain, their progress might not be much slower than that of several stellar subordinates.
Thus, as their sense of system identity grows stronger, everyone’s relationships have also become more harmonious.
Of course, if Jia Yan could awaken, the situation would be even better. Unfortunately, Jia Yan showed no signs of awakening. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
Not long after, the Adisa, having made its decision, saw two female god-like beings fly out of it.
The two who emerged were Luo Longsi and another female deity resembling a goat’s head.
Both sides were born of the Spirit series, and thus were quite familiar with the Divine Spirit Major Domain. Although they had never been to this part of the starfield, the chance of them being recognized was relatively low.
Fortunately, their appearance this time did not cause much commotion.
After all, they did not display any of their powers nor engage in any battles.
It was just at a commercial star where they extravagantly used the Crystal of Belief obtained from the previous agent war to purchase energy required for a row of battleships, along with some necessary supplies for the Adisa, and returned swiftly.
However, during this trip, the goat-headed female deity seemed eager to say something to Luo Longsi but hesitated.
"What’s the matter? If you have something to say, just say it. We’ve been friends for so many years."
Luo Longsi and this goat-headed female deity were, in fact, very good friends. Seeing her reluctance, Luo Longsi knew she had something on her mind.
"Well, Luo Longsi, I was wondering if we could make a detour to my home? Look at my address."
The goat deity did not harbor any ill intentions, but at that moment, she couldn’t resist the longing for her home.
After hearing her words, Luo Longsi took out a map, and suddenly realized something.
Because this goat-like female deity’s hometown was not far from here.
"So your home is around here. I see. I think if the Lord wakes up, he would likely give you this opportunity. After all, who knows how long it will take for us to return to our hometown in the future? Moreover, we wouldn’t even know whether it would be friend or foe."
Luo Longsi might have recalled her own family, and a sigh escaped her lips.
"You mean I can go back and have a look?"
The goat deity interpreted Luo Longsi’s words as such.
"Yes, I think that’s possible. But you should also ask everyone’s opinion back there. Without the Lord, we have to discuss together. If you make a decision on your own, it would be against the rules."
Luo Longsi’s handling of matters was impeccable.
Upon returning to the Adisa, all the divine spirits and stellar strong ones recognized the special circumstances of this goat creature. Hence, without much hesitation, they voted to let her return home for a visit.
"Thank you, everyone. I’ll just go back for a look and return in at most two days."
The goat deity expressed her gratitude to the subordinates and quickly departed the Adisa, heading towards her hometown.
"Actually, I think it’s a bit dangerous for her to go alone. Didn’t you say that the Dotar Divine King at the Stellar Battlefield once mentioned making your families taste revenge? Maybe there’s a net waiting for her now."
A subordinate suddenly spoke out.
"That might not be the case."
Tian Niu Lang had considered such possibilities but restrained himself from dampening the goat creature’s joy earlier.
"It’s not a matter of might or might not. It definitely is."
Suddenly, as the subordinates felt uncertain and hesitant about whether to secretly follow and protect her, a familiar voice rang out.
The owner of this voice was none other than Jia Yan, who had been closed off for almost two months!
"Lord Jia Yan?!"
"Is the Lord awake?"
Everyone was utterly shocked at this moment.
After all, Jia Yan had been asleep for a full two months. Some even wondered if Jia Yan had died.
Fortunately, the Adisa explained that this was a unique evolutionary process of the Evolutionary Creature, which made them feel relieved.
Yet here Jia Yan was, having woken up unexpectedly.
"That’s right. I’ve just awoken. During this time, you’ve worked hard."
Jia Yan’s voice sounded calm.
However, all the creatures felt that his aura exceeded his previous one by a large margin.
Even though they’ve made great progress recently, facing Jia Yan’s casual words, they felt an immense pressure.
Even though they had all improved significantly lately, just with Jia Yan’s mere speech, they were subdued?
"The Lord must have made great strides in strength. Congratulations, Lord." Tian Niu Lang was the first to congratulate, having their professional acumen sharper than anyone else, who hadn’t reacted yet.
It was only then that the others realized it, each proceeding to offer their congratulations to Jia Yan.
However, Jia Yan was far from jubilant.
"No rush. I haven’t officially come out yet; I’m still at an important juncture. It’s just thanks to Brainwave Power that I can converse with you."
"But I sense the situation with that goat creature is a bit dangerous. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have spoken. So, quickly, take Adisa and follow her secretly. If nothing happens, observe quietly. If anything occurs, rescue immediately. Understood?"
"Yes, Lord."
With Jia Yan’s direction, the Jia Yan Squad moved like a team with its leader’s mind. Their demeanor changed completely.
Even though Jia Yan’s words suggested that he had yet to complete his retreat and thus might not be able to exercise his power effectively, just one word from him infused them with boundless strength.
This is the power of leadership.
The subordinates quickly began to execute the plan.
However, it seemed that the goat creature had some unique means of traversing within the nearby starfield, effectively using a bus-like system exclusive to strong ones, which allowed her to return to her home region quickly.
Otherwise, given that her hometown was still a light-year or two away, a short trip back and forth within a few days would be impossible.
"Let’s chase her down in Subspace. Luo Longsi, you follow her route by using that bus-like thing too. We’ll be a bit slower, so please be careful."
Jia Yan arranged the tasks.
Luo Longsi also left the Adisa, pretending to be a Spirit being, using a certain amount of money to take the same form of transport as the goat creature did, quickly following after her.
Meanwhile, under Jia Yan’s orders, the Adisa continued its repairs while pursuing the substance.
Throughout, Jia Yan didn’t comment on the fact that his subordinates left the Adisa without his approval.
This made the subordinates breathe a sigh of relief.
They feared most the idea of Jia Yan holding them accountable now.
Fortunately, after Jia Yan understood the entire event, he neither praised nor criticized them. This let them know where Jia Yan’s limits were.
In fact, Jia Yan had no intention of blaming anyone.
No matter what actions this group of subordinates took, from his perspective, it was reasonable, although allowing that goat deity to leave didn’t align with Jia Yan’s policy. But if Jia Yan handled it himself, he would probably have agreed as well.
Of course, if he did it himself, he might have chased after with the Adisa immediately, as it’s the best way to ensure the safety of the subordinates’ lives or, lest information about himself might leak.
"Let’s go. We’ll head to that goat creature’s homeland and take a look where she was born, haha."
Jia Yan remained relatively light-hearted, for despite the slight chance of danger, he felt that the probability was not that high.
