Reborn as a Weak Earthling, I Became the Most Overpowered Mage Alive-Chapter 70: Ch : Uniting the World - Part 2
Seraphina’s words of encouragement took Lilianna by surprise.
She blinked at the female with her worried eyes, wondering what Seraphina was saying to her before it registered in her mind—Seraphina was encouraging her.
That made Lilianna feel a little guilty about how she had treated Seraphina until now and how she had felt about her.
But her jealousy at how close Seraphina and Andrew were did not allow her to accept Seraphina fully.
She wanted to control her feelings, but unfortunately, they refused to be controlled.
So she just smiled back at Seraphina and hoped that it was sincere enough to get her point across.
They reached back home in no time, and Andrew immediately headed toward Emperor and Clara, who were working on the farm.
"Emperor, have you heard anything about this project?"
He handed the papers to Emperor, who took a look at the papers with a frown on his face.
"They are establishing this organization already? I recall it from my past few rounds. I was even a member in the first few regressions before I realized that going solo was more my style. These people held me back too much."
Emperor frowned as he spoke. He was recalling memories that only he knew, but Andrew was not interested in that.
"I want to know if this place was actually useful for humanity’s success and whether we should invest our time in it."
Emperor frowned immediately as he tried to recall what had happened.
But he had died too quickly to see the organization bear any fruits. But he did recall one thing about it.
"Speaking of the organization... there was something weird about this place. They used to struggle too much at the start, but one day, they suddenly gained a dozen or so powerful players and became a dominant force. I think making friends with them might be a good choice."
Emperor did not sound sure, but Andrew made up his decision.
"So, is this a palace worth investing into? I guess I will accept this offer for now, and if we see anything shady, we will get out immediately."
Everyone nodded at Andrew’s confidence.
They were not worried because they trusted him, and Andrew was also going to find all loopholes that would allow him to leave that place safely and make a list of it all for future use.
"For now, let’s prepare for the next round. This organization and all, we can think about it later. Ah, Seraphina, I also want your input for something. Can you come with me for a second?"
Seraphina nodded and followed after Andrew.
Clara pouted as she watched this.
"This is not fair. Andrew is too close with Seraphina to the point where it feels like they both are in their own little world at times. I wish he was as close with us as he is with her."
"You are right. But what can we do about it? She is someone Andrew knew from a long time ago, and she is much more knowledgeable about games and such. I don’t think we compare to her at the moment."
Lilianna sounded resigned, almost as if she had accepted her fate.
Clara felt like she had to reassure Lilianna, but she had no way to do that. So she just sat in front of her and offered her silent reassurance.
While these two were going through their silent acceptance, Emperor had no intention of accepting Seraphina as she was.
No matter what she did, his acceptance of her would not happen.
After all, he was the one who had witnessed her become a threat to humanity over eight times.
’I might trust Andrew, but I will never trust Seraphina. Keeping her close is the best option, and the second she shows signs of betrayal, I will end her life.’

"Your human companions have not accepted me fully. I don’t know whether I should feel impressed at how vigilant they are or sorry that I am being doubted like this."
Seraphina told Andrew as she walked after him.
"Don’t worry about them. They will come around one of these days and respect you. Anyway, here we are. What do you think about this?"
Andrew had taken Seraphina to the warehouse where he had sealed the puppet that managed to cross over to the human world.
Seraphina’s eyes widened as she looked at the unconscious puppet being kept asleep by a fairy worker.
"A puppet? In the human world? How is that possible? And you caught him without dying?"
Seraphina’s surprise told Andrew that this was not a normal occurrence.
"I see. So even you have no idea what this might be about. I was hoping you knew why or how this puppet crossed over."
Andrew sighed as he closed the door to the warehouse and locked it once more.
"If we find a way to make the puppet talk, we might be able to find a way to get into his world and then to the system’s mainframe. Last time, I got close but was not able to make it till the end without being caught. But this time, I have a feeling I can get all the way to it."
Seraphina sounded serious as she flexed her hands.
She wanted to stay with Andrew, but the thought of being able to shut off the system and have her revenge was even greater.
"Hmm, somehow I have a feeling things will not be that easy. But if you are confident, then I will not stop you."
A part of Seraphina felt disappointed at Andrew’s words. She was hoping that Andrew would try and stop her to prove that he cared for her.
But he was someone who had always valued her opinion and interests. So she knew that if she showed interest in leaving for the sake of her mission, Andrew would let her go.
That was what had made her attracted to him in the first place.
Andrew was not like others around her, who wanted to control her for her powers. He was someone who offered her unlimited support without asking anything back.
How could Seraphina not fall for someone like him?
