Reborn as a Mind-Reading Empress-Chapter 690: Apologies from Clarisse
Other princes had done the same and there were already engagement announcements last time in some of the kingdoms in Eliora.
Arabella’s marriage with Ferdinand was one of the most beneficial weddings that happened in Eliora before signs of war with Fynnia became noticeable.
Some kingdoms were even wondering if Lobelius noticed before them and acted accordingly to acquire such a strong ally and successfully got Valeria by using Arabella.
Of course, Arabella’s parents and the elders in the kingdom considered the benefits of having Valeria as their ally. But the main reason was because of Ferdinand’s marriage proposal and the monster attacks that her parents feared might keep happening again after the incident at the foot of Mt. Callion.
Arabella wanted to ask her older brother about his plans for marriage but saved it for later. Since she could ask Alwin to teleport her or send messages here in Lobelius quickly, she could still communicate with Benjamin later.
For now, she focused on their breakfast together since it might be a while before they could visit again.
It would have been better if their parents were also here but she’s more happy with just her siblings since she had maximized her time in Medeus and spent a lot of tea time with her parents while they were there.

Once breakfast was over, Arabella said her goodbyes to her siblings and teleported back to Valeria so they could be on time for the court session.
Of course, she did not forget to procure boxes of tea for pregnant women to gift to Clarisse. Alwin had already brought the fruits from Elder Satara to Raymond last night so Clarisse had likely eaten as much as she wanted already.
Two chefs from Lobelius also went with them to Valeria to teach Alfredo and the others more Lobelian cuisine. After all, even though Aletha knew how to cook, it was not her specialty. Alfredo and the others would learn a lot more from fellow chefs.
Aletha only taught them what she could because she wanted Arabella to at least be able to eat some Lobelian cuisine while she was in Valeria and not yet allowed to visit her homeland.
"Welcome back, Your Majesty!" Raymond was there waiting for them when they teleported back to the Imperial Palace.
There was a smile on his face and his complexion looked so much better. He was holding an elegant envelope.
"Thank you. Why are you here so early?" Arabella inquired.
It was still about an hour before the Court Session would begin.
"I wanted to thank Your Majesty," Raymond beamed. "Clarisse was so delighted when she ate the fruits and discovered that they finally tasted like the ones she first tasted. She was so happy and was finally in a good mood."
[She got angry though and scolded me when she learned that I asked Her Majesty for the fruits. But at least she was not sulky anymore.]
"I’m glad she’s finally feeling better. I also got some tea for her. You should give her this tea as well," Arabella said and Alwin brought out the tea from his space ring.
It was another feature Arabella only learned recently that Alwin could also use. She had heard about it from Dimo in her past life but she did not know it was truly so convenient. They could just keep their items and other goods in their space ring. The more powerful a magician was, the more they would be able to store.
Though Alwin had his restrictions since he had so much mana anyway, he was still capable of using a space ring that could contain so much and he kept a lot of his items there.
Arabella wanted one but Alwin said it drains mana so it was dangerous for her. Or he simply did not want her to have a place to hide something that could be dangerous.
"I am ever grateful, Your Majesty. Clarisse would be delighted to see these. There are even new flavors," Raymond was too grateful yet again since tea helped soothe Clarisse when she was having her mood swings. "Right, she wrote this letter for you."
Alwin still checked the letter before handing it to Arabella even if it was from Clarisse and Raymond. Raymond was careful that no spies were in his estate here but it was better safe than sorry.
Once they were sure the letter was safe, Alwin finally handed it to Arabella. She read the contents and chuckled.

To Her Imperial Majesty, Arabella Lobelius Valeria:
I am very much grateful for the fresh fruits from Lobelius. They all tasted so well.
I am ever-grateful that I was finally able to eat what I had been looking for the past weeks.
But I feel so bad to have troubled you all for this. I am deeply embarrassed that my husband went as far as asking Your Majesty. My cravings had gotten worse and I had become so picky with almost everything. My husband must have felt so pressured by my constant complaints.
I deeply apologize for causing any inconvenience to Your Majesty.
I know I will not be able to repay you, but I have asked my family to send you the freshest goods from Ryvaleh. It may take a day or a few days but I will send another letter once I can send them....

Clarisse had a long explanation and kept apologizing for bothering Arabella, especially when she was already so busy taking care of the empire’s affairs with Ferdinand.
"Aww, she kept apologizing repeatedly," Arabella chuckled after reading the long letter from Clarisse.
"I figured. She scolded me a lot before I felt this morning as well. Even more so when she learned that Your Majesty went to Lobelius in person just to get the fruits," Raymond chuckled as well and scratched the back of his head.
"Haha. Tell her not to feel bad about it. I had something to do in Lobelius anyway. I visited the Elder and learned so much from our visit. I also got to see my sibling again after so long."
So that Raymond and Clarisse would not keep feeling bad about it, Arabella pointed out all the positive things that happened because she went to Lobelius due to the fruits.
