There’s this weird phenomenon where when you have too much work to do, instead of starting immediately, the brain often tends to shut down, leaving you overwhelmed.

This was an advanced form of procrastination, and this was what Leon felt when he thought of all the work in his to-do list.

’Dammit, I want to sleep’.

The mere thought of working made him feel sleepy despite the fact that he already had his afternoon nap today.

He procrastinated for minutes, shifting and turning and cursing at how tough his life was, but in the end, he stood up.

He stood up because he knew that if he didn’t do the work, it was going to wait there for him till when he finally decided to stop procrastinating.

Nobody was coming to help him.

’F*ck being a Mechanist!’

This was one of the few times when his love for machinery felt toxic, but despite his thoughts Leon no longer lingered.

The moment he stood up, understanding its master’s intentions, Davis instantly controlled a few of the working bots helping the ChronoSystem to move towards the incomplete Bulwark MK.II Titan Frame construct.

Leon first walked towards the miniaturized cargo crate before dragging it from the corner where he kept it to the front of the incomplete mech suit.

The airdrop this time from Leviathan Quay contained myriad materials for his multiple construction projects, but his focus this time was on the remaining materials that he needed to complete his first mech suit construct.

With his hand on the cargo crate, his grayish white ADE flared.

BZZZ!

Miniaturization!

Instantly, the cargo crate swelled to its original size as the working bots opened its lid, picking out all the construction materials that Leon needed.

"Davis, project the blueprint for me".

DING!

"Yes master".

A virtual hologram screen appeared in front of him showing the complete blueprint of the Bulwark MK.II Titan Frame with all the modifications that he already made to it.

Standing in front of the massive mech suit that was more than 4.5 meters tall, Leon looked at the familiar blueprint hovering in front of him, memorizing all the important details again, then he took a deep breath and dipped his hand into his right trouser pocket.

Bzzz!

Miniaturization!

When he brought his hand out, a compact music headset followed.

Staring at the music headset, Leon grinned, then he muttered. "What’s work without a little bit of music to spice it up?"

Without this headset, he would have been bored out of his mind and maybe even lost his mind after the past 2 weeks of being locked in his basement.

"Davis, play No Role Modelz by Jackson Cole".

DING!

As the music began glaring in his ears after wearing the headset, a big grin spread across Leon’s face and he started working.

Construction!

Nanofabrication!

4 hours later, it was already night as a familiar bioluminescent fog engulfed the world of Neo-Tokara outside the silent shelter.

Leon continued working.

After putting in another 15 minutes of work, he finally stopped.

The work was complete.
