A wave of pure water emerged, pushing Fiera back a few centimeters, but not stopping her completely, as her fists reached Alma anyways.

"{Sea Serpents' Wrath}!"

Out of nowhere, four huge sea serpents materialized from her Water Aura, attacking Fiera's volcanic fists. The clash between the cold water and the fiery volcanic stones generated dozens of consecutive explosions, leaving behind steam everywhere.

"Nnngggh?!"

Fiera was surprised as she was being pushed back, the giant serpents moved dexterously, evading her blows and then wrapping around her multitude of volcanic arms, shattering them into pieces.

And it wasn't all, as Alma created yet another Undine's Trident, although this time, she froze it into hard ice.

The trident was shot towards Fiera in that second, as she tried to reflect it with her fists or melt it with a shockwave of flames, only for the trident to continue its trajectory anyway.

"Agh!"

The powerful trident pierced through her armor and destroyed it, before exploding into cold particles of ice that quickly cooled down her armor yet again, making it fall apart into pieces.

Not only the professors, but the entire audience of the arena gasped in surprise, as Alma had showed once more her offensive spells!

"She completely stopped me again!" Fiera thought, gritting her teeth. "No, I can't lose against this little fatty girl!"

She smashed the ground furiously, unleashing lava and volcanic stones into the ground itself by simply placing her dream weapon underground, and then expanding its growth.

Giant volcanic spikes surged from the ground one after another, aiming at Alma, surrounding her and rapidly chasing her around, while lava continued covering the floor!

"I know you're not as agile as I am! So what are you going to do now, Alma?!"

Fiera smiled as she constantly released explosive eruptions of magma everywhere, making Alma panic as she tried to escape through the ground, but more of it was constantly claimed by lava, making it an impossible task.

Eventually, she had to confront her or find a way to clean everything, but doing this would only make her waste more energy!

"Yeah, just try to destroy my domain! You're going to get drained of energy really quickly!"

Fiera was also halfway down her Dream Essence, but because her Armor produced magma automatically, she could do this without spending much at all.

"W-What else can I do? Should I forfeit?!" Alma panicked, seeing the lava approach. "An attack from this distance… I don't know if my accuracy can reach her, and she'll most likely lift a wall to defend."

She thought and thought some more, trying to think of a way, a way out of this!

She wanted to win, despite everything…

She didn't want to lose!

"No, think… think!"

The lava continued spreading, reaching further, and further, until it touched her little shoe, making her scream.

"Hyaaah! Noo!"

And then…!

Her eyes widened, suddenly.

"R-Right… How couldn't I figure that out?!"

A bubble of water encompassed her, as she… lifted herself up into the air!

"Eh?!"

Fiera glared as Alma was flying inside of her water bubble.

She had no way to fly on her own, not at all.

But by encompassing herself on water she could control, lift around, and so on…

Well, she was able to fly!

"She can fly!"

"Right, this was quite obvious…"

"How couldn't I figure that out?"

"But is that even enough?"

"Fiera can attack from long distances!"

Both professors and students were invested into the fight, constantly talking with one another about the possibilities that could happen, and how this battle could develop from now on.

However, right now, everyone's expectations were uncertain! They didn't know who would win, or who would lose.

"As if flying would fucking stop me!"

Fiera roared, as giant hands of magma emerged, pointing their fingers at Alma while hardening them and then firing giant stone bullets covered in flames at her!

"{Fiery Stone Bullets}!"

The bullets reached Alma, as her sphere started to be rapidly bombarded, as she tried to move. She could move very quickly, but the bullets accumulated, large chunks of her water bubble disappearing.

SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!

"If this goes on I'll fall into the lava…!"

Alma desperately thought of another idea, quickly freezing the bubble itself, creating a sphere of ice and then rushing towards Fiera as quickly as possible.

"How about this?!"

The bullets could no longer pierce through the thick layer of ice, and although it was so cold she might get pneumonia, it was worth the risk!

"DAMMIT!"

Fiera roared angrily, quickly conjuring a giant hand of lava by using almost all her Dream Essence, and swinging it down, catching Alma with it, and pushing her into the ground!

CRAAASH!

"Aaagh!"

Alma cried, as her Ice Sphere began to shatter and melt, filling the interior with steam that only made the melting process even quicker, boiling lava beneath cooled down into stone.

"I won't lose! I can't lose against a loser like you!" Roared Fiera. "So just stay there, quietly, and let me win already, Alma!"

"L-Loser?!" Alma cried angrily. "I-I…! I might be a bit… overweight, and I might be a bit shy… B-But I am not a loser!!!"

With a scream full of frustration for always being mocked and looked down, Alma released all her Dream Essence as well.

"W-What?!"

Fiera gasped as she saw the ice spread through her entire domain, then ultimately reaching her volcanic arm, freezing it, and then reaching her body.

"W-Wait…!"

She tried to punch the ice away, only for more ice to spread from her legs, freezing half her torso.

"N-No…! No way!"

FLUOSH!

Before she could fight back or escape, she was turned into a frozen statue...
