Reborn as a Devouring Dragon with a System-Chapter 46: Getting More Members to the Vorr Clan
Chapter 46: Getting More Members to the Vorr Clan
"You will be called Lizzy Vorra," Drake said deeply.
"Thank you, Master. This maid would be happy to serve you," Lizzy said as she bowed down. She wore a maid cloth that was black in color, in contrast to her blood-red hair and eyes.
When Drake saw this, he was confused and noticed how Lizzy had embraced the role of a maid. He pushed it out of his mind as he began to think about her dragon bloodline.
From her skills and everything else, it seemed she was related to one character—Vampire. He didn’t know what they were called here, but he was sure she was one, especially when he saw her fangs when she spoke.
When he thought about her parents’ matter, he now realized why things were the way they were. Her parents still maintained such youthful faces even though they were a bit old. He began to consider some things: if her parents were truly Vampires, then they couldn’t have died from the attack caused by the young master Leo, which explained why their bones weren’t broken.
But they were dead, and their hearts were missing. It seemed the person who killed them knew they were related to Vampires from the looks of it, and they might come for Lizzy.
The blood-red color of her hair receded as it turned pure blonde. She moved and stood behind Drake like a maid, while Drake turned to Kaidros, asking him about things related to Vampires, to know if such a creature existed here.
"Master, from your explanation and the rest, only one race has ninety percent compatibility with your words—and they are the Blood Race," Kaidros said after hearing Drake’s explanation.
"No one knew where they came from, but they were an evil race that slaughtered for blood, drinking blood like water. They treated all creatures here like farm animals—killing when needed and the rest—until all races joined hands together and exterminated them. But dregs of them were still scattered all over the Origin Continent," Kaidros explained.
When Drake heard this, he was assured. It seemed he was right about the Vampires.
"But one thing again— is there any other world apart from the Origin Continent?" Drake asked.
"No, Master. History says that there are other worlds out there, but no matter how we Cultivators of this continent try, we haven’t been able to find one."
When Drake heard this, he fell silent. From the words of the Devouring Dragon God, there were numerous worlds outside. Drake chuckled at this. It seemed there was a boss to battle in this world.
After settling on this, he decided to check on the beasts undergoing the Dragon Gate test. When he got there, he saw they were done with it—but Drake also realized that only six of the beasts had passed through the gate successfully.
When he asked about the rest, there was one word: "Dead." They had died. Drake was confused as to why this was so, until Drax explained that the Dragon Gate could only be passed through once, except in special cases. It was either do or die—if you succeed, you gain a huge amount of fortune; if you fail, it’s death.
Drake shook his head at this as he checked those who had survived. The two snakes had survived, the wolf, a mice beast—which surprised Drake with how it had survived—a flaming red lion, and a feathered sparrow.
These were the beasts that survived, looking at Drake as he arrived.
"I’m happy that a lot of you have passed through the test. Now, we begin the Transmutation—but I warn you, going through such a process is a test on its own," Drake admonished the beasts.
He took a look at the snakes that stood together beside each other and used the appraisal skill on them because he could feel a Draconic aura on them clearly.
Beast: Venomoth (A snake species that specializes in poison, having a certain percentage of the Poison Dragon bloodline)
Bloodline Concentration of Poison Dragon: 18%
When Drake read this, he was surprised. He never expected that the snakes were truly related to a Dragon, and from the looks of it, it was a Poison Dragon.
He felt delighted by this, leading the beasts towards the dragon pool. As he settled each of them there, he started with the mice first, putting it into the dragon pool as he began the Transmutation.
"Which dragon bloodline would the mice gain like this?" Drake asked Drax.
"No need to worry about that. The system gives a Draconic bloodline based on their highest affinity to make them easily compatible with the dragon bloodline that’s going to be used. If the bloodline hasn’t awakened, they could just gain the Draconic traits and pure dragon blood until their related dragon bloodline is gained by you," Drax explained, while Drake got the gist of it.
It turned out that if a beast had higher fire affinity, then the bloodline gained would be the Fire Dragon bloodline. But if Drake hadn’t awakened the bloodline channel, then the bloodline wouldn’t be given—just ordinary dragon blood.
Well, most of the beasts only gained the pure dragon blood, not a bloodline. Only the sparrow gained the Thunder Dragon Bloodline, and its concentration was 55%.
It still had its bird form but had a dragon head. It had dragon feathered scales and the wings of a dragon. The other beasts took on traits of dragons but had less, and didn’t have access to dragon skills. But nonetheless, they were still top-tier beasts that were very strong.

[Host should note that the bloodline enhancement depends on their willpower and strength]
This was what happened during the time of the Venomoth snakes, and when they finished their bloodline enhancement, their poison dragon bloodline concentration was seventy percent, which made Drake happy.
All beasts could transform into humans. Drake stood in front of them, looking at them as they knelt down.
"Greetings to the Emperor."
"Welcome to the Vorr Clan," Drake said, delighted, with the air of an emperor.
