When Drakion appraised the Azure Dragon, he was surprised to find that the cultivation of the Draco-Rat had been elevated to the Late Stage of the Saint Realm. And looking at its affinities, he now understood why it was one of the First Dragons—possessing four affinities, all connected to what he once knew on Earth.
This revelation stirred a deeper thought within Drakion. Since Dragons existed—and now he was even seeing the Azure Dragon—did it mean that creatures like the Vermilion Bird, Phoenix, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise also existed in this vast universe? Curiosity pricked his mind like thorns.
He asked the system, only for it to reply with a mocking emoticon, telling him he had to find out for himself. The response made Drakion clench his fists—he felt like punching the system into oblivion.
After settling these thoughts, he sat down in silent contemplation, planning his next move. There were numerous Draconic bloodlines yet to be awakened: the Water Dragon Bloodline, the Wood Dragon Bloodline, the Earth Dragon Bloodline, the Light Dragon Bloodline, the Demonic Dragon Bloodline, the Metal Dragon Bloodline, and the Mechanical Dragon Bloodline.
Seven Draconic bloodlines in total—especially the Mechanical Dragon Bloodline. Drakion couldn’t wait to awaken that one. The idea of transforming into something akin to Optimus Prime and beyond felt absolutely divine. But the reality of it dampened his excitement. Finding someone in sync with such a bloodline? That made him sigh with sorrow. After all, it looked like only a robot could truly harmonize with it. And where in this world was he going to find a robot?
After a few moments, a thought struck him, and he summoned Kaidros. The latter appeared, confused by the sudden call.
Drakion looked at Kaidros, a heavy gaze set upon him. According to Drax, Kaidros shouldn’t have been controlled by the remnant power of the Dragon Eater.
"Kaidros," Drakion began, his voice laced with quiet authority that made Kaidros feel like an unfolded scroll before him, "do you have any regrets in you?"
When Kaidros heard this, he sighed with sorrow and slowly knelt. "Yes, Master."
Drakion gave a small nod. Drax had been right. "And what regret do you carry?"
Kaidros looked up at him, eyes heavy, voice low. He sighed again. "After taking that unknown sword grass, I had to hide myself, putting my family and sect into danger. All that time, my heart was never at peace. And now... it has become my greatest regret—knowing I’ve been walking the wrong path, endangering my sect."
His voice trembled slightly. His eyes grew watery.
Drakion watched in silence. He remembered that Kaidros was once an old man—meaning he must have had countless descendants. And he had said he was the Sect Master of the Sword Spirit Sect, an A-Rank Sect.
After a long moment of reflection, Drakion’s eyes narrowed with resolve.
"Then let’s solve your regret," he said, his voice firm. "It’s time we visit your sect."
Drakion had already planned to journey through this world—to learn, to grow. He needed information, and unlike those born into noble clans or royal bloodlines with grand libraries, he had to gather knowledge with his own hands.
When Kaidros heard this, he was stunned—but joy surged through his chest. He bowed low, emotion surging in his voice.
"Thank you, Master."
Drakion gathered the members of the Vorr Clan and informed them that he would be heading out. But just then, Quinn—who was present at the moment—dropped a quiet yet unexpected revelation, "Young Master would also like to follow you."
When Drakion heard this, he was momentarily stunned. He turned to see Elemarion tugging at his arm.
"Papa, I want to follow you," Elemarion said, pulling at Drakion’s smaller frame. Since they were nearly the same height—and Elemarion was clearly stronger—Drakion felt genuine pain from the child’s enthusiastic grip.
"Okay, okay!" Drakion surrendered quickly. But then he turned toward Quinn, frowning. "Why does he need to follow us? He’s still too small."
Quinn calmly shook his head. "Young Master may appear like a child, but his intelligence cannot be underestimated. Besides, with you leaving, I won’t be able to appear at the palace. This is an opportunity—for experience, and to let the Young Master see the outside world."
"It’s not only him," Quinn added. "The Azure Dragon and the Golden Dragon will have to accompany you as well."
Drakion exhaled deeply, pausing in frustration. With Mia and Ski—his Draco-Rat companion—this was bound to become troublesome.
"But with his five-colored hair and eyes, he’ll draw too much attention," Drakion complained.
"Don’t worry," Quinn said with a smile. In that very moment, Drakion watched as Elemarion’s body radiated with five-colored light. When the dazzling glow finally faded—
Drakion was stunned.
Elemarion’s hair had turned jet-black. His eyes matched—dark and unreadable.
"As long as he doesn’t activate his Draconic bloodline, his hair and eyes won’t change," Quinn explained. Drakion nodded, remembering that Quinn had also arrived in a similar form—his hair only revealing its true color when he unleashed his Draconic aura.
Drakion turned to Mia. She simply needed to suppress her aura—that dominating, prideful pressure—and she would pass unnoticed.
Then he looked at Ski, still in his Azure Dragon form. "There’s no way I can carry you around like this," Drakion said, shaking his head.
"Don’t worry, Master. I have a way to solve this," Ski responded.
In an instant, a burst of azure light engulfed the dragon—and what emerged was a small, ordinary-looking mouse.
When Drakion saw this, he let out a long sigh. It seemed there was no escaping it—he would have to take them all. After making final preparations and entrusting the Poison Sisters with coordination and protection in his absence—
He departed with others.
