Alrighty!
Seeing its host laughing maniacally without a semblance of humanity in his eyes, the system was left flabbergasted and panicked.
After all, it had waited for eons to get a suitable host.
And now that it has actually binded with one, if this host goes mad and gets himself killed: the system would have to wait for an unknown period of time all alone in a pitch black desolate landscape.
Just thinking about going back to that prison-like space made the system shudder, goosebumps appearing all over its interface.
But it was not a stupid system, and it instantly came into a conclusion.
It would upgrade itself.
......
After his fit of manic laughter died down , Helios sobered up and quickly began calculating his current position.
He had just 24 hours to leave the Ignaz Empire and enter the Demantoid Wilderness. If he failed to do so, a royal bounty would be placed on his head and he would be killed on sight.

Sighing, Helios decided to get his facts straight. As far as his memories served him, the Demantoid Wilderness was pretty near the Ignaz Capital, only five hours away if he sailed down the River Luna. Now it was up to him on how he would use the remaining hours.
He didn't have a single copper coin on himself, so buying anything – food or equipment was out of the question.
Helios screamed in his mind for the system, but the system did not respond.
Survival in the Demantoid Wilderness seemed hopeless now that his system had fallen silent. The Demantoid Wilderness was practically a massive labyrinth home to hordes of beasts and monsters. No one in Ignaz has come back alive after entering that fearsome process. And that is the place his father was banishing him to.
Raven's new life seemed to crumble away in front of him. Just when he thought that all was lost, something suddenly clicked in his mind.
Right!
Suddenly he was reminded of his three slaves and sworn blood brother. Using his residual magic trail ingrained inside those unfortunate souls, he commanded his slaves to come to him within half an hour and also bring Eric, his sworn blood brother with them.
To his surprise, his order was carried out swiftly, and within fifteen minutes all four shuffled into his view – fear etched into their faces, only Eric looked a little bit calm.
As soon as all of them have approached and knelt before him, Helios swiftly informed them of his predicament and gravely ordered them to follow him to the Demantoid Wilderness. Eric replied with an instant "Sure Bro" while the slaves showed fear in their faces, their skin turned paper white. But they were powerless to resist since they were already under Helios's direct control, nothing more than mere puppets under Helios's command.
Helios gazed at each of their faces, and then smirked. A cruel smirk curled up the corners of his lips, the gears of his brain shifting as a grand plan began forming in his mind.
A sudden enlightenment flickered in his eyes. Helios, no, he decided to call himself Raven henceforth gleaned the reason behind the popularity of a particular proverb he had heard in passing in his previous life.
Once a wise man had said, "Villains are made, not born."
