As the dying howls of the creatures faded away, the mist began to lift, and the familiar chime of the system notifications greeted him.

Ding! Left Hall: 1st stage of Balthazar Ralph Ignaz's Grave has been cleared out. Hosts is advised to enter the hall to collect the loot.]

Swatting away the influx of system notifications, Raven gracefully entered the left hall, his steps measured and deliberate against the polished marbled tiles of the left hall.

Unlike previously, the left hall now looked crystal clean, its walls exquisitely painted and adorned with portraits and paintings, its grandeur unmistakable.

Upon stepping foot inside the hall, the first thing that meets one's eyes is a life size portrait of a man.

A man with smooth fiery red hair reaching his shoulders, tied in an exquisite ponytail with two carefully styled bangs falling over his eyes, emphasizing his deep-set features.

The man seemed no more than thirty years old, with mismatched eyes – one the shade of a finely carved ruby, the other resembling a pale azure sky stretching lazily across miles on end.

The man, in one sentence, was a spitting image of Helios, albeit an older and mature one.

"So this man Helios' a.k.a. my great ancestor Balthazar Ralph Ignaz" mused Raven, "the very one whom Mother Tree annihilated"

Then adopting a sarcastic tone, Raven said out loud, "Do not fret, ancestor dear, I will enact revenge for your sake"

Suddenly Raven spotted something gleaming exactly at the centre of the hall and decided to cut back on his usual shenanigans.

Rushing closer to inspect the anomaly, he saw a sight hard to forget.

Enveloped in a fluid emerald aura, there floated a pair of twin daggers.

One of them was pigeon blood red, with a serrated edge and a handle as dark as the colour of clotted blood, while the other sported a pale shade of azure blue and a smooth edge, reminding Raven of a sleepy blue ocean, with a handle as white as the colour of a freshly bloomed jasmine with a few dew drops still clinging on its petals.

The first dagger reeked out limitless unyielding bloodlust, while the other sent out gentle waves of energy capable of soothing even the most vengeful spirit.

The two daggers, each resembling a shade of Raven's eyes, complemented each other perfectly, and Raven could not wait to try them out.

He extended both his hands towards the emerald aura, and was not at all surprised when he met with little resistance. He firmly and roughly gripped the crimson dagger with his right hand and with his left, he gently curled his finger around the handle of the azure dagger, almost reverently.

Then with a sudden yank, he pulled both of them out of the emerald aura and met with a single system prompt.

[Host has equipped the god-tier twin daggers which had played a crucial role in forging Ignaz as the greatest empire in the Radiant Bloom Continent. This pair of daggers had been lost in the ancient times, and was rumoured to have been destroyed by the Mother Tree. Host is advised to keep the pair of daggers well hidden as all of the major forces of the Radiant Bloom Continent would go to any lengths to get their hands on it if word spreads.]

Looking at the system's detailed explanation, as well as a cautionary warning, Raven could not help but feel excited. The daggers in his either hand pulsated with energy, matching the wild beating of Raven's heart.

Eager to test out the capabilities of god tier weapons, Raven threw both of them in wide slanting slashes towards the portrait of Balthazar Ralph Ignaz, with minimal physical force behind the throw.

Just as the daggers were about to slash through Balthazar Ralph Ignaz's chest in two wide arcs, Raven altered their direction with a mere thought. Instantly both the daggers recoiled, and flew in opposite directions, neatly hacking away every other piece of painting adorning the walls of the hallway. Only Balthazar Ralph Ignaz's portrait remained unscathed.

Satisfied with the daggers' performance, Raven called them back, and they obediently returned to his outstretched palms.

Just as Raven's experiment with his newly acquired, and by far the favourite pair of weapons came to a climax, a deep rumbling sound echoed through the hallway.

The arched door at the other end, which had been firmly shut up until now, began to open slowly.
