Rebirth: Top Actress, Your Big Shot Husband is Jealous Again!-Chapter 842: If This Flowerpot Hit Someone, They’d Be Disabled If Not Dead
"Bella, where are you off to?"
"To eat." Bella Green replied, neither warm nor cold.
Emma Sutherland’s eyes lit up upon hearing that, and she immediately said with a smile.
"What a coincidence, me too! Let me treat you to a meal, what are you craving?"
Emma said this as she directly linked arms with Bella, entering the elevator.
That intimate gesture left Bella a bit bewildered.
When she last came, because of some roles, Emma and she had reverted to their initial cold demeanor.
But what had gotten into her today?
Before Bella could refuse, Emma went on her own, "Let’s go to Xundu, the Japanese food there is delicious."
Emma made the decision directly, not giving Bella a chance to speak.
Bella looked speechless, and Xylia Xandrell followed behind in confusion.
Since there was no way to avoid it, Bella decided to just go along and have the meal together, wondering what got into Emma.
Emma was fully armed with a mask and large sunglasses, completely covered up.
Bella had put on some makeup when heading out and wore a hat, so she wasn’t easily recognizable.
Xylia, not being a celebrity, didn’t need to hide anything.
The place Xylia mentioned wasn’t far, so all three of them decided to walk there instead of driving.
Throughout the walk, Emma kept chatting non-stop, showing great enthusiasm.
Bella occasionally responded with a word or two.
As they passed a residential building, Bella pulled Emma along, walking closer to the wall.
Suddenly, Bella heard a crisp sound and instinctively looked up and moved aside.
Her pupils shrank instantly, and her body reacted faster than her mind, pushing Emma forward.
Emma had no time to react and was directly pushed to the ground.
Bella fared no better and fell straight to the ground herself.
Emma, taken aback that Bella would push her, was just frustrated, when a loud bang echoed behind her.
Instinctively turning to look, Emma’s face turned white with fear.
In the spot they had just been standing, a large flowerpot had shattered to pieces.
It was one of those thick flowerpots, with a money tree planted inside—if it had hit someone, they’d be injured if not killed.
Had Bella not pushed her, Emma dared not imagine what might have happened to her.
Filled with terror, Emma broke into tears, seemingly frightened.
Bella glanced up at the upstairs, feeling annoyed, noticing many flowers on the balcony, probably too close to the edge fell off.
Truly unlucky.
Terrified, Xylia rushed over and looked Bella up and down, her face also pale.
"Are you alright?"
"I’m fine, well, guess it’s true we shouldn’t walk that close to the wall."
Emma was still sobbing endlessly.
Bella helped Emma up, "Stop crying."
But Emma kept crying, clearly shaken, she took out her phone, trembling as she dialed a number.
The call was barely connected when Emma wailed, "Louis, I’m really scared."
"I’m near the office, I was just almost hit by a flowerpot, boo hoo, can you come over?"
"It’s okay, if Bella weren’t here, I would’ve really been in trouble."
"Uh-huh, alright, I’ll wait for you."
After a few words, Emma hung up the phone, her tear-streaked face now beaming with a sweet smile.
Bella picked up Emma’s sunglasses from the floor and handed them to her.
"Louis?" she asked with a strange look on her face.
Emma nodded shyly at the remark.
Bella: "..."
Since when did those two hook up?
