Rebirth: Top Actress, Your Big Shot Husband is Jealous Again!-Chapter 634 Mason Bennett’s Reason for Anger
Early the next morning, Bella Green got up.
After tidying up, she went straight downstairs.
She didn’t really know how she felt at the moment, only thinking about leaving the Bennett Family.
But as soon as she reached the bottom of the stairs, she saw the old Mrs. Bennett cheerfully returning from outside. From her attire, she seemed to have been out exercising.
"Bella, you’re up."
Bella Green tugged at the corners of her mouth and walked towards the exit, just about to speak when Mrs. Bennett pulled her directly into the kitchen.
"What would Bella like to eat? Grandma has prepared a few breakfast options, see if there’s anything you like."
The meticulous care from the elder made Bella Green’s nose tingle.
"No need, Grandma, I..."
"Bella, even though your aunt’s birthday isn’t meant to be a grand affair, counting relatives and friends, there will be quite a few people. We’ll need your help then."
"Ah?" Bella Green was stunned, not quite comprehending.
Was the old lady implying that she should entertain the guests?
That seemed more like the host’s job, right? 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Bella Green felt a bit troubled, just about to politely decline when the old lady spoke again.
"Ah, today Bellamy is the birthday star, naturally she can’t do anything. I’m an old woman, Bella, if you don’t help, it’ll only be this old lady bustling about by herself."
Her pitiful expression made Bella Green twitch the corners of her mouth.
"But I’m not really sure what to do."
"It’s okay, it’s okay. Grandma is here. When the time comes, Grandma will tell you. Come, come, eat, I’ll go see why that rascal Victor hasn’t gotten up yet."
Old Mrs. Bennett said with a smile, and then headed upstairs.
Leaving Bella Green alone in the living room, looking troubled.
After a while, she sighed helplessly. Some breakfast items had already been placed on the dining table.
Most were her favorites, but at this moment, she had no appetite at all.
She had gone to bed early last night, yet she hardly slept a wink.
She pondered half the night but couldn’t figure out why Mason Bennett was upset.
...
After a short while, everyone gathered in the dining room.
After breakfast, old Mrs. Bennett bracketed Bella Green and Joanna Ramsey on each side and went out.
Victor Bennett tried desperately to tag along but in the end was delegated by the old lady to chauffeur.
The car made its way to Brocade Capital Mall.
Bella Green looked at the mall, considering the opportunity to prepare a gift for Bellamy Homes.
But then she thought about her meager wallet and suddenly felt a bit downtrodden.
Joanna Ramsey was even more frustrated; if Bella Green was poor, Joanna Ramsey was definitely poorer.
The two exchanged a glance, both feeling a bit awkward.
The two girls, each holding one of the elder’s arms, entered the mall while Victor Bennett could only follow behind, acting as the bodyguard.
"Grandma, what do you want to buy?" Joanna Ramsey blinked her big eyes and asked.
"I’m not buying anything for myself, I’m buying for the two of you."
Mrs. Bennett said as she stopped in front of a store.
"Here we are."
Bella Green and Joanna Ramsey looked at the international high-end women’s fashion store in front of them, both were stunned and then embarrassed.
"Grandma, why are you buying clothes for us for no reason?" Joanna Ramsey said softly.
"It’s Mason’s mother’s birthday tonight, you two must dress beautifully." Mrs. Bennett said, pulling them inside.
Gazing at the array of splendid dresses, the two girls hadn’t yet reacted, but Mrs. Bennett was overjoyed.
When they were little, she could only buy things for the boys. Finally, the chance to buy for the girls came.
Bella Green looked resigned, pulling Mrs. Bennett with a wry smile.
"Grandma, we could actually go back and change clothes."
