Rebirth: Top Actress, Your Big Shot Husband is Jealous Again!-Chapter 626: Do You Think I’m Angry?
Having no choice against Xylia, Bella Green had to leave the campus with her.
The restaurant booked was across the road from Brocade City University.
The prices weren’t high, but the food was delicious, and many students liked to eat there.
Bella Green didn’t ask Xylia who else she invited; she only saw Sophie Lowe when she arrived.
Bella raised an eyebrow, glanced at Xylia, and somewhat guessed her intention. She smiled, said nothing, and walked over to sit down.
Xylia looked at the slightly awkward Sophie and spoke up.
"Sophie helped me find a tutoring part-time job before. I got paid today, so I wanted to treat you both to a meal."
Bella nodded and looked at Sophie, who was standing. She smiled and said, "Why aren’t you sitting down?"
Sophie smiled at her words and sat down.
The three of them ordered three dishes.
Bella knew Xylia’s family expenses were quite large, so she didn’t order anything too expensive, and Sophie felt a bit embarrassed.
Watching them each order a dish of stir-fried vegetables, Xylia chuckled, "What are you doing? It’s just a meal. Do you really think you’ll eat me poor?"
Bella didn’t expect Sophie to order an even cheaper dish of shredded potatoes, so she raised an eyebrow and took the menu again.
"What are you talking about? I’m not finished ordering yet."
The girl said and ordered a fish, the restaurant’s signature dish, reasonably priced and quite tasty.
"I’ve always heard the braised fish here is good," Bella blinked and smiled.
Xylia smiled silently and said nothing. Although she didn’t mind these things, Bella’s gesture still warmed her heart.
Sophie was a bit nervous. Since the last time, she hadn’t really talked to Bella.
"The three of us haven’t had a meal together in a while, right?" Xylia smiled and broke the silence.
Bella murmured in agreement, and Sophie nodded too.
Seeing neither of them speaking, Xylia only felt a headache coming.
"I mean, we’re roommates at the very least. If you two have any disagreements or misunderstandings, you should talk them out. Silent treatment is for elementary school kids."
Sophie listened to her words, pursed her lips, and stayed silent, unsure of what to say.
Bella looked at Sophie and was silent for a moment before speaking.
"Do you think I’m mad?"
Sophie looked at her at these words, not knowing what to say. She did think Bella was mad about what happened last time.
"I’m not that petty," Bella said, resting her chin in her hand, speaking lightly.
"You say you’re my fan, my friend, but you don’t believe me. Yes, I’m unknown now, few people know me, and I don’t have many fans. But as I enter the entertainment industry, similar things will happen frequently in the future. I will face much doubt and false accusations."
"I understand that fans might feel disappointed and angry with their idols because of scandals or rumors, but I can’t accept someone who calls themselves my friend would resort to distrust when they see these things."
Bella looked very seriously at Sophie.
If it wasn’t for Xylia, Bella might never have said these things, and she would have always kept her distance from Sophie.
Because she couldn’t bear the thought that one day, when facing baseless attacks online, there would be someone among the disappointed who claimed to be her friend.
Sophie looked at Bella, stunned for a long time.
Because she found herself unable to refute these words...
