Rebirth: Top Actress, Your Big Shot Husband is Jealous Again!-Chapter 594: Your Sister’s Fiancé, It’s Only Me
In just an hour, Daniel Green was taken to Nathan Bennett Group.
Following behind Elliot Morris into the elevator, Daniel Green looked sullen.
He was in the middle of class when this man, who claimed to be Mason Bennett’s assistant, pulled him out.
He thought the teacher wouldn’t agree, but surprisingly, after saying just two sentences to her, this man left with a smile.
He even repeatedly promised that there’d be absolutely no record of this.
Looking at the Nathan Bennett Group, which so many dream of entering, Daniel Green wasn’t feeling too happy.
If it were in the past, he would undoubtedly be thrilled to come here, to see Mason Bennett.
But now, he couldn’t feel happy at all.
That man, as legendary as a god, was just a man with two eyes and a mouth.
Aside from being a bit better looking, there was nothing special.
Yet he had his sister completely infatuated, and he couldn’t say a word about it.
Elliot Morris looked at the boy’s obvious reluctance, feeling puzzled.
He had seen this kid before.
At the time, during a banquet, he seemed to idolize his boss greatly.
Retracting his gaze, Elliot Morris sighed.
He’d only been exiled for half a month, yet it felt as though many things had happened that he was unaware of.
Bringing him all the way into the office, Mason Bennett was busy with work.
Daniel Green looked at the serious and focused man behind the desk and froze for a moment.
"Mr. Bennett, Young Master Green is here," Elliot Morris said with a friendly smile.
After all, being Bella’s brother, it’s always good to treat him kindly.
Mason Bennett paused his work, glanced over at Daniel Green.
That one look made Daniel Green’s body stiffen, as if he was pinned to the spot.
He had met Mason Bennett several times now.
But this time, he felt an unprecedented pressure from the man’s gaze, making him feel completely at unease.
Mason Bennett didn’t say a word, merely glanced at Elliot Morris, signaling that he could leave.
Once the door closed, only the two of them remained in the room.
Daniel Green inexplicably began to feel some panic.
In front of Bella, he dared to speak somewhat loudly to Mason Bennett.
But now, it was as if he didn’t dare to breathe audibly.
"Sit," the man finally spoke after a while.
Daniel Green hesitated for a moment, then looked at the sofa, belatedly responded with an "oh," and obediently walked over to sit down.
Mason Bennett leaned back slowly, his black eyes devoid of any emotional warmth as he looked at him.
Daniel Green felt a chill running down his spine.
"Why, why did you call for me? I was still in class," he said uneasily.
"Your sister and I will be getting married in three months."
This sudden statement left Daniel Green stunned, then he frowned.
"You brought me here just to notify me of this?"
With a sullen face, Daniel Green knew about the Bennett Family coming to propose; he’d even heard they would register the marriage once his sister was of age.
They’re not even married yet, and Bella was already protecting him, not letting him say a single negative word. If they got married, wouldn’t he have even less standing?
"Yes."
Mason Bennett’s straightforward answer left Daniel Green speechless.
"If you’re discussing a marriage, you should go to my parents, not me."
"Our marriage doesn’t need to be discussed with anyone. I’m just informing you that your sister’s fiancé is only me."
The man’s voice was so cold it could almost shed ice, making Daniel Green feel uneasy.
Daniel Green lowered his head, his expression looking rather unhappy. Faced with this man, he felt both repelled and intimidated...
"That’s not necessarily..." he couldn’t help but mutter under his breath.
