Rebirth: Top Actress, Your Big Shot Husband is Jealous Again!-Chapter 590: Bastard, from now on, don’t even think about climbing onto my bed!
Beside the floor-to-ceiling window, Mason Bennett dialed back the missed call.
The phone connected after just a ring.
"Young Master Bennett, I just got back to Brocade City. I compiled what you talked about on the way. The phenomenon you described might not be a dream."
Listening to the voice on the other end, Mason pressed his lips together in silence, waiting for him to continue.
"If it were a dream, the likelihood of having the same dream several nights in a row is very small. It’s likely something you’ve experienced in the subconscious memory layer."
Hearing Mark Manning’s words, Mason was silent for a moment, then looked toward the kitchen and continued to ask.
"Could it be related to the people and events I’ve been involved with recently?"
"It’s related, perhaps. We should meet tomorrow."
After Mason agreed, he hung up the phone directly.
The tall man stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking out into the dark night. His dark eyes almost blended in with the shadow.
After a while, a flash appeared in the dark eyes of the man.
His pupils gradually focused on the glass window in front of him.
In the reflective light of the glass, a petite girl was tiptoeing toward him.
Her small face was adorned with a mischievous smile, lively and cute.
Mason’s lips curled slightly. He did not turn around, waiting for the girl to approach him step by step.
Just as she intended to playfully scare him, he quickly turned around and pulled the girl into his arms.
The sudden movement startled Bella Green, who let out a scream and fell into the man’s embrace.
Looking up at the teasing smile in his eyes, Bella couldn’t help but laugh too.
"It’s almost ten, go take a shower and get to bed," the man said softly.
Hearing this, Bella frowned, "I can’t sleep."
Upon hearing this, Mason lowered his head and chuckled softly.
"If you can’t sleep, perhaps we should do something to help you sleep."
The blatant suggestion made Bella blush, and she gave him a playful glare.
"You pervert."
After the playful scolding, she turned and went upstairs.
Watching the girl’s figure disappear at the top of the stairs, Mason’s smile gradually faded.
With deep-set eyes, he seemed to be lost in thought.
After a while, he also went upstairs.
When passing the master bedroom, the man paused and looked at the ajar door.
Moments ago, he could hear sounds from inside, but now, everything was quiet.
Mason knew that Bella was inside and this door was left for him.
This girl, she took his words seriously.
If not for Mark Manning’s phone call just now, he might have pushed the door open without hesitation.
However, at this moment, he couldn’t quite bring himself to go in with a clear mind and do something with her.
After standing there for a while, Mason raised his hand and gently closed the ajar door, turning to enter the guest room.
In the bedroom, the girl curled up on the bed with flushed cheeks and a smiling mouth listened to the sound of the door closing and froze.
She looked up at the empty room and the tightly shut door, completely stunned.
Mason didn’t come in?
Bella frowned, got off the bed, walked to the door, opened it to find the hallway empty.
The light seeping through the guest room door told her that Mason had indeed come upstairs, but he had gone to the guest room?
Bella stood there, her shy anticipation turning into embarrassed anger.
"Bastard, you can forget about ever crawling into my bed again!!"
The girl fumed, muttering to herself, then turned back into the room, slamming the door shut with force.
In the guest room, leaning against the door, Mason clearly heard the girl’s words.
As well as the loud sound of the door slamming.
The man’s lips curled into a small smile, but it soon faded away.
Looking out at the pitch-black night, Mason’s brows gradually furrowed...
