"Why are you staring at me that way?" Xin Yi asked as he cocked his gun.

"What do you mean by not hesitating to shoot?" Zhang Caixuan asked. He hated to admit it, but then he knew he was scared.

How could he shoot someone? He had only shot at animals. Shooting someone was out of the question.

Xin Yi raised his head to look at him, "to save your sister, my wife, we would have to do everything possible, even if it means killing someone," he clarified to him, but it seemed his explanation complicated matters further.

"You still don’t understand?" Xin Yi asked after he noticed the confused look on Zhang Caixuan’s face.

Zhang Caixuan immediately nodded, and Xin Yi mentally facepalmed. He did not know if he was truly clueless, or if he was acting dumb. Regardless, he felt exhausted, and was able to continue with his explanation.

"Can you explain it in simple terms?" Zhang Caixuan asked, after seeing the terrible expression which Xin Yi had.

It was not that he did not understand, rather he was unable to accept the truth. And what was the truth? Xin Yi was going to kill someone just to rescue Zhang Luiying.

Xin Yi came to a conclusion after he had finished observing Zhang Caixuan’s expression.

"I think I get the gist now, it is not like you do not understand, but you are unable to face the truth, brother-in-law, you have got to face the truth, I am willing to do anything for Luiying," Xin Yi was firm in his words, and one could not detect any hint of playfulness in his words.

Zhang Caixuan swallows after hearing his words. But then, he felt that there was no better person to be his sister’s husband.

He watched as Xin Yi gave instructions to the men, and he had a better impression of Xin Yi.

"Don’t give me such a look, I love Zhang Luiying, and I will be willing to do anything for her, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what I can do for her," Xin Yi stated without raising his head when he sensed Zhang Caixuan’s intense gaze on him.

"Heh!" Zhang Caixuan rubbed his nose awkwardly after he was discovered by Xin Yi.

After what seemed like forever, they finally arrived at the district. After Xin Yi had exited the van, he looked around as his eyes squinted. He was looking around.

"Fengqian, do you know where the hut is located?" Xin Yi tapped his bud as he spoke to Fengqian.

"I will check for it, boss," Fengqian replied. Xin Yi remained still as he waited for him to complete it.

"Found it, it is just a few walks away from where you are currently, it is a small hut, and it is the only one there, so you should not miss it," Fengqian replied, and Xin Yi hummed in response.

"Thank you," Xin Yi thanked him, as he gestured for the men, including Zhang Caixuan to follow him.

After walking for a while, they finally noticed the hut, just as Fengqian had said.

"Boss, how are we going to save Madam? What is the plan?" One of the subordinates asked in a whisper as he noticed the thoughtful look on Xin Yi’s face.

"I have been listening in on their conversation, if my calculations are right, then Luiying is in the living room of the hut, there are three men, they have guns with them, if we barge into the hut, then it would be very risky, we have to think smart."

Xin Yi paused as his eyes landed on each and every one of the men.

"Then, what do you suggest we do?" Zhang Caixuan asked, finding his initial analysis to be correct.

"We would need a distraction," Xin Yi stated with his hands on his chin with a calculative look on his face as his eyes were fixated on his hut.

"I volunteer, I can be a distraction, you just need to tell me what to do," Zhang Caixuan volunteered. He felt that being a distraction was better than handling a gun.

Xin Yi stared at him in silence, causing his heart to be in his mouth.

"As much as I want you to act as a distraction for us, but it is not possible, you will be recognized immediately," Xin Yi replied to him with a disappointed look.

Zhang Caixuan’s mood instantly soured, but he understood what Xin Yi was talking about.

He was well known as the heir to Zhang’s family corporation, and if he were to enter the hut to distract the men, he would be instantly recognized, and that would be risky, not just for them, but for Zhang Luiying.

"Brother-in-law, you need not be worried, or disappointed, Qing would be able to complete the task, he is a master of distractions," Xin Yi had already calculated each move, and his success rate was 80%, that was if everyone followed through each plan.

"Can you handle it?" Zhang Caixuan immediately turned to look at the person who was named Qing.

It was a young, short man, he looked like a kid. But Zhang Caixuan was not one to judge by just the outer appearance of a person, he was not such a petty person.

He trusted Xin Yi, so by extension, he had to trust Qing since his brother-in-law had faith in him.

"Mr Zhang, you need to forget about my small stature, my stature is very deceiving, and it is one of the major reasons I am able to complete each task my boss has asked me to carry out," Qing puffed out his chest, speaking confidently.

Zhang Caixuan was tempted to laugh seeing the little man act confidently, but he would rather not dampen his confidence, so he nodded, indicating that he trusted him.

Qing smiled on seeing the approved smile on Zhang Caixuan’s lips.

"Qing, this is what I need you to do, you will need to lead the three men away from the hut, I believe you can do that?" Xin Yi stared straight into his eyes, and he nodded positively.

"Trust me boss, I would be able to pull it off," Qing replied, patting his chest, indicating for Xin Yi and the rest to put their trust in him.
