At ten in the morning, Gu Ningyue looked at Lin Ruixian, who was sitting in her room and refused to leave, with a hint of disdain in her eyes: "Are you really that free? If you’ve got nothing to do, why don’t you go for a walk?"

Lin Ruixian was still looking at his phone, indifferent to Gu Ningyue’s words: "I’m not Ling Tianyou’s fiancé, why would I run?"

Gu Ningyue frowned slightly and remained silent for two minutes before going to the wardrobe and packing her clothes into a suitcase: "Fine, I’m leaving first, do as you please. Oh, and if Ling Tianyou gives you a hard time, don’t beg me to save you."

Lin Ruixian’s grip tightened on the phone: "He wouldn’t dare!"

Gu Ningyue gazed at Lin Ruixian: "Don’t believe it? He always suspects something improper between us. Do you think his indulgence of me applies to you too?"

The name Master Ling isn’t just for show.

Lin Ruixian suddenly smirked, though it was unclear what he had thought of: "Alright, I’ll go with you."

Gu Ningyue glanced at the phone in his hand without speaking, while Lin Ruixian’s smile grew even more pronounced.

In the next moment, Lin Ruixian also headed to the bathroom.

When he returned, his hands were empty: "Better now? Let’s go!"

Gu Ningyue nodded, carried her suitcase, and walked out of the bathroom with Lin Ruixian.

Once outside the hotel’s main entrance, Gu Ningyue was about to hail a taxi when she suddenly retracted her hand as if remembering something: "You going back to pack your things first?"

They lived ’across the hall’ from each other, so it didn’t matter waiting for him here a bit.
