Chapter 598: Chapter 244: Intimacy (2)

"Take responsibility to the end?" Pello shook his head, "Did Molin ever tell you that she signed a ten-year contract, and in just over half a year, the company invested more than a million on her. Not to mention, the losses caused by her to ZARA haven’t even been accounted for yet."

"Over a million?" Su Ziceng wasn’t well-informed about the dark side of the entertainment industry, but that didn’t mean she could easily be swindled, "That’s impossible. I’ve asked Melin; she never received her full appearance fees. That means her agency has been skimming off the top. Moreover, having underage models accompany drinks—if this gets out, it would be bad for everyone. Anyway, Molin has decided to stop pursuing modeling and can start afresh back in the United States."

Su Ziceng analyzed the pros and cons of the situation without any hesitation, as if she would choose to smooth things over if she were a representative from Japan like Pello. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Pello’s eyes took on a profound look; he had intended to use this incident to threaten Su Ziceng into conceding, but her current response was like a fully armored hedgehog.

"So, don’t think you can use this to pressure me. I won’t fall for your schemes again," Su Ziceng asserted with increasing confidence. She realized that after all she had been through, she was no longer the weak and pale Su Ziceng of the past.

"Very good," Pello whistled, a sound that seemed to be both praise and mockery. If he and Su Ziceng were merely simple opponents, he would now be boiling with passion because it was he who had forged her into her current form. She was more dominant than before.

"Also, thank you for looking after my father all this time. I believe things have now concluded, and I have the means to take him back." Su Ziceng was determined; she didn’t want to visit her father needing Pello’s approval anymore. She didn’t dare bring Su Qingzhang back earlier due to the debt collectors, but now that the debts were deferred, she could at least settle the interest. After Qiao Zhizhi and her daughter left, the apartment she rented should be vacant, and she could refurbish it—just a little bit to make it wheelchair accessible would do.

"Oh," Pello and Su Ziceng stood in the dim corridor. Approaching evening, the sunlight was hidden behind the tall trees of the Su Family estate, and the servants had yet to turn on the corridor lights. Pello stood with his back to the light, and Su Ziceng couldn’t make out his expression.

A light chuckle echoed in the corridor, causing Su Ziceng to shiver uncontrollably, her hand was pulled, and while struggling, the Rose Handbook fell to the ground. The hard corner of the book hit the carpet, creasing one corner.

"You said you want to take Su Qingzhang away, right? Then how will you compensate me for my losses during this period?" Pello pulled Su Ziceng into his bedroom, which also used to belong to Su Ziceng.

Su Ziceng subconsciously replied: "I can pay you back." She could settle all of Su Qingzhang’s medical expenses, nursing fees, and nutritional costs incurred during this time.

"Do you think I really need the money?" In the room, the lighting was better than the corridor, and Su Ziceng could clearly see the teasing yet serious look on Pello’s face.

Su Ziceng’s gaze fell upon the bedroom. It was almost exactly as she left it, even the magazines on the bedside table hadn’t been moved.

"Does it look exactly like when you used to live here? I intentionally had it preserved, forbidding anyone to touch it," Pello’s hands and voice were equally gentle. His face pressed against Su Ziceng’s cheek. The freshly shaven stubble was uncomfortable for Su Ziceng. She tried to turn her face away and back away, only to find that the door to the room had already been closed.

The sun heated the room to a stuffy temperature. Su Ziceng’s hands pressed against the door, trying to feel for the doorknob. She should be making a break for it now, but Pello’s hands were quicker, capturing her hands behind her back.

"Your room, your scent, I’ve lived here for more than half a year now, always feeling that something was missing," Pello murmured, as sweat from fear began to seep from Su Ziceng’s hands.

"Pello, let me go," Su Ziceng’s voice trembled without her realizing.

"I’m not forcing you to do anything, Ziceng." Pello spoke while his breath brushed against Su Ziceng’s face, gradually climbing up to her forehead, eyes, lips, outlining Su Ziceng’s features completely.

"You can take Su Qingzhang, but give me something in return," Pello’s voice carried a strange emotion as his hand moved to Su Ziceng’s waist, lifting her clothing.

The smooth skin against the rough touch of a man’s fingertips made Su Ziceng shrink back, understanding Pello’s intention.

Su Ziceng’s silence and Pello’s actions both continued; when clothing fell to the floor, Su Ziceng closed her eyes, and as she was carried to the bed, she still didn’t open them.

Comparatively, Pello was more patient this time. The hot temperature of the man’s body, the wet softness of his tongue and kisses starting at her abdomen, her chest, and the bindings below being undone one by one.

"Open your eyes, look at me," Pello gently tapped her cheek, his tone no longer as it was before. Su Ziceng kept her eyes closed; if she opened them, her tears would uncontrollably roll down.

A sudden tightness below and her body arched up; his heat penetrated her forcefully, nearly like plunder as a punishment for her disobedience.

In the room, the man’s breathing mixed with the woman’s suppressed sounds. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to Qidian (qidian.com) to vote for recommendation tickets and monthly tickets, your support is my greatest motivation.)
