Rebirth in the Apocalypse: I Have Unlimited Warehouse Space-Chapter 7 - : Little Temptress
Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Little Temptress
In the room next door, Kelly was huddled in the bedroom, trembling uncontrollably. She hadn't eaten or drunk anything for two days, and her condition was dire.
Bang~ Bang~
The zombies in the living room were intermittently pounding on the bedroom door. Each time the door was struck, Kelly's body would shudder.
Just moments earlier, she had heard the sounds of a violent struggle next door. When the noise finally subsided, she mustered the courage to call for help, but there was no response.
She felt hopeless. No food, no water, and a zombie waiting just outside her bedroom door, ready to devour her. All she could do was helplessly clutch her head and sob.
"Maybe... death is a solution too," Kelly slowly lifted her head, gazing out the window.
The peaceful, serene Norton City she had once known had now become a city of death, filled with slaughter and despair.
Bang!
A sudden crash sounded, followed by what seemed like something heavy falling to the ground with a dull thud.
Kelly's heart tightened, and she stood up, walking toward the window.
Even if she was to die, she didn't want to become the flesh and blood of a zombie—especially not if that zombie was once her friend!
"Damn it, that blood rain was so strange. How could Cora still dare to touch it, let alone drink it?"
"If Cora had listened to me, at least we wouldn't be lacking water now!"
Crash!
The bedroom door shattered with a loud bang.
Kelly didn't have time to blame her now-dead friends. She quickly lunged toward the window.
"If I were you, I wouldn't be so impulsive. After all, life only comes once." Clove's voice, calm and composed, echoed in the room.
Just as Kelly was about to jump, the familiar voice froze her in place. She collapsed to the ground!
She lay there, watching as Clove approached, tears welling up in her eyes.
Three days. It had been three days since the apocalypse began, and now, she had finally seen another living human being!
Clove took out a bag of bread and a bottle of mineral water from his space and placed them in front of the girl, saying, "You'd better take it slow, or you might choke."
Seeing the food, Kelly didn't even hear what Clove said. She immediately scrambled up and pounced on the bread.
First, she unscrewed the bottle of water and drank it down in gulps, finishing the entire bottle. Then, she ripped open the plastic bag and shoved the bread into her mouth.
Clove wasn't surprised by Kelly's ravenous behavior. A person who had gone without food for two whole days could only rely on whatever little fat remained in their body to keep their functions going.
If she went without food for another four or five days, even a pile of grass placed in front of her would be devoured one bite at a time in her desperate hunger.
As long as it's something that can be digested, a person on the verge of starvation will eat anything!
Of course, human reasoning also ensures that people will choose what to eat carefully to avoid consuming something they shouldn't.
"Ugh~" Kelly suddenly turned red in the face, frantically slapping her chest.
Clove immediately pulled a bottle of mineral water from his space and handed it to her. "I told you to slow down."
A large gulp of water slid down her throat, clearing the blockage caused by the bread, and Kelly finally felt alive again. "You don't understand. When you're about to starve to death, you can't think about anything else."
Even so, Kelly followed Clove's advice and started eating more slowly.
"Well, now that you've eaten and drunk, there's a price to pay," Clove said, his eyes scanning her up and down. "From today onward, you belong to me."

"Tell me your name and age." He sized her up but couldn't quite tell her age at first glance.
Having gone three days without washing her face or bathing, Kelly's complexion appeared pale, and there was a hint of oiliness on her skin.
Still chewing, Kelly froze for a moment, then quietly spoke, "You saved my life. You have the say in this."
"My name is Kelly, and I'm 19."
Clove was slightly surprised. He hadn't expected the girl to adjust to the situation so quickly, especially at the start of the apocalypse. In other words, she was a very smart girl.
Her only flaw was her slight cowardice—she had almost been driven to suicide by a single zombie.
"Well then, let's go, lucky girl." Clove stood and headed toward the door.
Kelly, who hadn't finished her bread, quickly stood up to follow him. She fully understood that this man was her chance of survival in this apocalyptic world!
As they stepped outside, Kelly saw the stairwell filled with zombie corpses. Below them, more zombies were growling and slowly crawling up. The sight only strengthened her resolve.
Staying close to this man meant at least she wouldn't die immediately.
The two of them endured the stench of decay as they climbed up to the twelfth floor.
Clove knocked on a door, and after a brief moment of waiting, it was opened.
Linda, upon seeing Clove, immediately noticed the bloodstained bandage on his chest and gasped instinctively, "You've been hurt by a zombie!"
Behind Clove, Kelly, who had been focused on the bread in her hands, froze. The excitement of escaping death disappeared instantly.
It's over!
This man is as good as dead.
Clove looked down at the wound on his chest, seeing fresh blood still trickling from the injury, and shook his head. "It's fine. I won't be infected by the zombie virus. I just need to disinfect and stop the bleeding."
"Quick, quick, come in. I'll help you..." Linda pulled Clove inside, but her words immediately stopped when she saw the girl behind him.
"Who... who is she?"
Clove waved at Kelly and introduced the two of them. "This is Kelly. She's 19. And this is Linda."
"She's lucky she found me. Otherwise, she'd probably end up being torn apart by zombies."
Kelly nodded and smiled at Linda. "Hello, sister."
Linda nodded in response. "It's good that you're alive. Alive, that's what matters. Hmm~ Do you want to take a shower? The water's still running, at least for now."
"The bathroom is over there. I'll find you some clothes afterward."
Kelly nodded eagerly. "Three days without a shower—I've had enough."
With that, Kelly walked toward the bathroom.
As soon as Kelly entered, Linda turned to Clove. "Looks like you've gained another woman to vent your desires on."
Clove replied nonchalantly, "Wrong. I just need to relieve some stress."
"There's nothing better for that."
Linda snorted and turned away.
Clove raised his hand and smacked Linda's full backside. "Go get the medical kit. If you have medical alcohol and iodine, bring those too."
"Don't you see I'm bleeding? And you still have the mind for these things. Looks like you want to get your ass slapped."
Linda shot back without hesitation. "Come on, then. Do it! Come on and slap me!"
Saying that, Linda grabbed the medical kit and alcohol, starting to clean the wound on Clove's chest.
Once the wound was cleaned and bandaged up, the bathroom door opened.
Kelly, who was only wrapped in a towel, stepped out barefoot from inside, taking each step slowly. Now fully clean, Kelly seemed to regain some energy, and her skin started to glow again.
Beneath her wet hair was a youthful, delicate face.
Her chest was neither too large nor too small, half-wrapped in a white towel, exposing a generous amount of smooth, pale skin.
As she walked, Clove could even see the pink in the depths of her thighs.
She was a young and charming little temptress.
Looking at Kelly, Clove immediately felt a surge of energy, but considering it had only been half a day and the first genetic lock was about to be unlocked, he decided to hold back.
In the end, Clove wisely decided to save that energy for later, in the evening.
For now, it was better to continue fighting zombies outside.
The sooner the genetic lock was broken, the sooner he would grow stronger.
"Little temptress!" On the side, before Clove could leave, Linda couldn't help but mutter under her breath.
"Sis, do you have any clothes?" Kelly seemed to not hear what Linda was saying.
While speaking, she walked over to Clove's side and then directly sat down on Clove's lap.
With a soft, youthful body pressing against him, Clove felt his body respond instinctively.
"To thank you for saving me, I wouldn't mind sleeping with you." Kelly shook her waist and rubbed her butt against Clove's thigh, but the movement was very awkward and stiff.
As she shifted, the two pale mounds on her chest gently swayed up and down, their rosy peaks alternately disappearing and reappearing beneath the towel.
To make such a seductive gesture and utter such bold words, Kelly's face turned bright red.
Apparently, she was obviously doing this for the first time.
Because wisdom and reason both told her that since this man wasn't afraid of the zombie virus, he must be able to protect her safety.
Clove's large hand slowly slipped beneath the towel.
