"I have, Mr. Chen. Is there something you need?" Jiang Xue asked.

"There is, something great!" Mr. Chen said with a hearty laugh that was so bright that Jiang Xue could feel his good mood through the phone.

After Jiang Xue finished speaking and was about to hang up, Mr. Chen spoke again, "Jiang Xue, the results are out today, have you checked them?"

"No need, I’ve already checked for you. The results are great, you passed everything. Moreover, you got the top score."

"Really? That’s wonderful," Jiang Xue said happily. Whether she got the top score or not wasn’t important; what mattered was that she passed.
