Upon hearing this, the Big Tiger’s expression slightly changed as it recalled Jiang Xue, who had previously vanished, and asked, "You don’t mean that woman is your master, do you?"
"That’s right, that woman is my master. Don’t let her clumsy appearance fool you; she has a good heart. Plus, she cooks delicious meat."

"Why would I be? My master is very capable," the Little Fox replied casually. Although Jiang Xue is indeed a bit clumsy, she has many strengths.
"Capable, how come I never noticed? Fearful of death is more like it," the Big Tiger remarked with a look of contempt. It truly didn’t think much of Jiang Xue, viewing her as someone scared of her own shadow.
"Really, if you don’t believe it, I’ll have her come out and you two can compete; you’ll see. But if you lose, you won’t back out and must become her mount," the Little Fox negotiated the terms with the Big Tiger, confident in the Big Tiger’s sense of honor.
"Alright, if that woman can beat me and cook meat for me, I’ll reluctantly be her mount for a few days."

After the Little Fox and the Big Tiger agreed on the conditions, it called Jiang Xue out from the space. Upon hearing the Little Fox call for her, Jiang Xue quickly exited the space.
Stepping out, she saw the Big Tiger lying on the ground and couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy. She turned to the Little Fox and asked, "Little Fox, is it able to stand up?"
"Of course!" The Little Fox nodded and then lifted its paw, gesturing toward the Big Tiger, and the Big Tiger stood up.
Jiang Xue, seeing this, felt relieved and then said, "Great, I have a mount."
The Little Fox watched, feeling a little reluctant to dampen Jiang Xue’s spirits, yet it had to, saying, "Woman, don’t get too excited too soon. The Big Tiger wants to have a competition with you. If you win, it’ll be your mount. If you lose, you’ll become its supper."
The latter part was something the Little Fox had added on its own; the Big Tiger hadn’t said that. However, based on the Little Fox’s understanding of the Big Tiger, it was not far from truth.
"A competition?" Jiang Xue furrowed her brows. She didn’t mind competing but was concerned she might harm it. If she injured it, her chance at having a mount would be gone.
"What, are you afraid?" The Big Tiger looked at Jiang Xue with a provoking glance; it didn’t believe it could lose. After all, it was the king of the forest, and Jiang Xue was just a weak woman.
"What’s it saying?" Jiang Xue couldn’t understand what the Big Tiger was saying, so she turned to the Little Fox for help.
