Chapter 747: Chapter 747: Surprise

Hayley Cole listened, her mouth opened slightly, just about to speak, but then suddenly recalled something and glanced over at James Reed, squeezing her phone as she walked to the corner, far out of their reach.

"Are you freaking kidding me? Ophelia Wilson is a celebrity, don’t you think I know?" Hayley Cole held back her temper, not raising her voice, but when it came to insults, she did not hold back in the slightest.

"It’s not like I don’t know she’s famous! I saw yesterday’s signing ceremony!"

Mentioning this, Hayley Cole was full of anger.

It was just a lousy endorsement signing, and the entertainment shows already covered it. Then there were all sorts of online posts that made it impossible for people to be unaware.

And Ophelia Wilson’s fans, they act like they’re crazy, hopping all over online. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Insane!

What’s so great about a lousy perfume?

She deliberately arrived before Ophelia Wilson, just not to let her steal the limelight.

At the time, no one paid any attention to Ophelia Wilson, but in the end, Ophelia Wilson actually stole the spotlight.

Look at these people, even Old Mr. Seymour himself had left, yet they remained, still chatting with Ophelia Wilson and James Reed.

Hmph, when they see an advantage they just can’t move.

Inwardly cursing, Hayley Cole would never admit she was jealous, jealous of Ophelia getting all of James Reed’s attention and affection.

The person on the other end of the line didn’t know what Hayley Cole was thinking; he had heard some major news and rushed to share it with her: "It’s not that! Do you know how Ophelia Wilson got this endorsement? She got it by sleeping around!"

"What?" Hayley Cole’s eyes widened, and she felt more surprise than joy.

Ophelia Wilson actually secured the endorsement this way; isn’t she James’s fiancée?

If James finds out what Ophelia did... Hayley herself didn’t realize how excited she was, urging, "What’s going on? Are you sure?"

"Sure thing," laughed her friend on the other end of the phone, "Ophelia Wilson went to the hotel to meet the perfume brand’s director in the evening and didn’t leave until late at night."

"For over two hours, she was in the room with that director. The crucial part is, after Ophelia left, the director had the staff change the bed linens." The person on the other end couldn’t help but laugh at this gossip, thinking it was so fascinating.

"This doesn’t necessarily prove anything, does it?" Hayley Cole’s heart was trembling with excitement, but she thought the evidence was still lacking.

"That’s not all; the key point is someone from nearby the hotel managed to capture what was going on in that director’s room. Although the few shots are quite blurry, it’s clear the director was doing something with a woman," the person on the line said excitedly.

"The power of the internet is immense. Once a media outlet revealed Ophelia Wilson had entered the director’s room, the rest was exposed by many users themselves."

Hearing this, Hayley Cole was so excited she felt her heart would jump out: "Are you saying this has already blown up online?"

"Yeah, I was afraid you didn’t know, so I told you to check online for the buzz."

"Alright, got it! I’ll treat you to a meal later!" Hayley Cole felt ecstatic; this call was like a lifesaver in the snow, a chilled soda on a hot summer day.

After hanging up, she looked again at Ophelia Wilson, who was surrounded by people, and a wicked smile appeared on her face.
