Chapter 561: Chapter 561 Is it yours?

Jim Perry quickly handed the document to Charles Seymour, who swiftly read through it. After finishing, he signed it and reminded Jim Perry of a few things to pay attention to.

After noting everything down, Jim Perry finally asked, "Boss, which company are we going to partner with?"

The strength between the Clark and White Families was almost the same, making them a bit hesitant.

"We’ll talk about it when we get to the office. I’m busy right now," said Charles Seymour.

Jim Perry silently looked up at the paused game screen, thinking his boss was really busy - busy playing games.

Well, whatever the boss says goes. As a small employee, he didn’t dare to say more.

Once the document was signed, Jim Perry took his leave.

Charles Seymour got up and went to the room to find Sophie Wilson. After entering, he pulled her hand and wrapped her into his arms: "When people from the company come over next time, you don’t need to avoid them."

There was no need for Sophie to avoid company matters; why should she hide?

"Nothing," Sophie Wilson shook her head with a smile, "I just went to the restroom."

She really wasn’t avoiding on purpose.

Hearing what Sophie said, Charles Seymour was relieved: "Let’s continue playing."

"Sure," Sophie said as she walked out with Charles Seymour and casually asked, "Wasn’t Jim Perry with Ophelia Wilson and James Reed last time? Is he your employee?"

"Yes." Charles Seymour nodded absentmindedly and sat down on the sofa, "James Reed wants to partner up and is talking with Jim Perry." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Sophie Wilson stared at Charles Seymour in surprise: "Is James Reed crazy? Wants to partner with your company?"

"He might not know it’s my company." Charles Seymour frowned, thinking it over. It seemed like even his father-in-law didn’t know at first, and was somewhat surprised after finding out.

"Huh?" Sophie Wilson asked incredulously, "Doesn’t James Reed investigate before discussing partnerships? He hates you so much. If he knew it was your company, wouldn’t he be furious? From how he was with Jim Perry, it seemed like he was totally flattering him."

"Flattering is putting it too lightly; it was more like sucking up." Sophie Wilson rambled on, "There are very few in the Imperial City’s business circle that James Reed would suck up to. Recently, the only one he’d want to curry favor with is Peace Group, that partnership..."

At this point, something suddenly struck Sophie Wilson, and she stopped.

Charles Seymour had been listening intently to Sophie chatter away, and seeing her suddenly stop, he was confused.

That innocent little expression made Sophie Wilson smack him on the face without thinking, then she curled her fingers and pinched!

Charles Seymour’s cheek was pinched, making him even more puzzled, his beautiful obsidian-like eyes showing a trace of grievance.

Why was Sophie pinching him?

Though puzzled, Charles Seymour didn’t dodge.

This "bear with it" look left Sophie Wilson not knowing what to say.

"Peace Group is yours?" Sophie Wilson asked.

"Yeah." Charles Seymour nodded, with a nonchalant air, clearly not thinking it was a big deal.

"Peace Group is yours? You’re the owner of Peace Group?" Sophie Wilson laughed uncontrollably, falling directly into Charles Seymour’s arms.

Uncle Warren, who heard the noise downstairs, shook his head with a helpless smile, thinking his master really had never mentioned this matter to Miss Wilson.
