Upon seeing this, Filo jerked up from where she was, shock evident on her face.

"A demon horn?" she instinctively yelled, her feet glued to the ground despite the fact she wanted to run up to him.

Anyone could easily recognize the horn of a demon; it wasn’t something that was kept a secret or not known amongst the vast population.

Adonis stared at the system while also simultaneously paying attention to his reflection in the water.

"Never mind that. I guess that means I am the demon lord then, and you, being my Dahestero, means you have to stay with me, correct?"

"Well, yes. Your awakening isn’t complete. You can’t possibly take over the world like this. This is the most I can manage. I don’t know when the rest of the witches will find you. All I can do is look after you till then," Veronica replied.

Taking over the world was not exactly on Adonis’s agenda. In fact, the thought just seemed utterly ridiculous to him.

Instead, he wanted to grow stronger—strong enough to have nothing oppose him.

Adonis stood up from the water, standing in front of Veronica, who couldn’t keep her eyes from his cock.

"Alright then, as of today, you are a member of the Dancing Corpse," he said with a calm voice.

Veronica smiled. "As long as I am by your side, I don’t care where you place me."

Though Adonis was not really sure why she would be so eager to be with him. Even if he was a reincarnation of her husband in the past, he was still somewhat a stranger.

Confused, she tried to stand up, but instead, she was pulled back into the water by the purple glowing threads dancing around Adonis’s body and gripping every part of her body.

It was beautiful.

As Filo watched, she couldn’t help but remember she had seen the same thing back in the dungeon—the same beautiful light that she had forgotten about until this moment.

Although Adonis knew nothing about it, he was too busy checking the notifications.

"This is a big and rich place. Too rich for me to complain about," Adonis replied.

"Hahah!" Evans sat down on the chair as he laughed. "Come, let’s talk."
