Re: Player-Chapter 302: [Epilogue!]
"So. To sum it up, we have no idea how Laplace was able to send a clone to the mortal realm. The titans have escaped back, the most powerful angel is a Fate Weaver and finally… the Brothers of Salvation. Not even a single person in the entire heaven knows about them?" The All-Father looked at the other Gods having their heads down.
"The brothers of salvation… are they real?" The goddess of simplicity asked as she didn’t believe that something so big could be missed out by them. They were Gods, after all.
"Simplicity, you weren’t there. That guy Neptune… he was a monster. A monster beyond what we could even hope to come across… I am telling you. Something big is coming," another God intervened as his eyes observed the empty area in front of him with fear.
"We know that they are against the destruction of the world," Hecate spoke.
"And they are too kind," Helios added.
"They treat all the races as equal," Castellina summed it up.
The Gods murmured but before anyone could utter in a single word, Hecate added one more line," and each of them are powerful enough, probably strong enough to take all the Gods together at their full power."
And then a strange silence filled the entire area as all the Gods were shocked.
The All Father, recalled the events of the battle once again before he sighed. This wasn’t the first time he has been put down as worthless in front of absolute power, and with that kind of experience comes a certain kind of wisdom.
He closed his eyes for a few seconds before he spoke," find out about this group that emerged out of nothingness. It’s purpose, it’s reason, it’s principles. And yeah, make sure to not provoke them until absolutely necessary. That’s an absolute order."
Changes were coming.
Drastic changes.
…
"And then he kicked Laplce away before saying ’That is not the answer I wanted to hear,’" one of the angels narrated the story as the others listened to it. Engaged as the more they listened to it, the more they felt excited.
Some parts felt more fabricated than the others. A fantasy of sorts, but then again, it made things even more spicy for them. And the story of a guy who can defeat the entire heaven, and a man who can rewrite the fate of the entire world, spread throughout the lower heaven. Unless they were living under a rock or something, there wouldn’t be a single angel that doesn’t know about Neptune or Adam now.
And something similar was going on within the demon realms as each demon that had witnessed the war, spread the words as far as they could. The fact that they had celebrated with the same angels, made many of the demons who weren’t there, shriek in disbelief. But then there was a High Demon there that had reported the same thing to his King. With that as an irrefutable proof, there was rarely anyone who could call it a baseless rumor.
Thus, in both the demon realm as well as the heaven realm, the name of Neptune and Adam, along with the name of a certain organisation, the Brothers of Salvation, spread as far as it could. People were both curious and vary about this organisation, trying to find out its source.
But somehow… nobody could pinpoint anything about this organisation. It was as if it were to be made out of thin air, a group of extremely strong people that could shake heaven and hell appeared in Zarraf.
And whether it was a good news or a bad one, was something that was still to be determined.

[Location: Border Town!]
"It seems your brother is creating waves again," Leena spoke as she tended to Anna’s hair. Her gaze looked at the newspaper that spread about the news of a war of gods in the west coast city, and how the Phantom and his brother protected everything all by themselves.
"That idiot," Wesker sighed before shaking his head as he looked at the stock of arrays that he had made in his free time. And then at the construction that was beginning right outside the border town.
"Just focus on the task at hand. It’s about time, those players will be coming now," Wesker then added as he began focusing on the work once again. As for Leena, she kept reading through the entire news before she put it down with a sigh.
Her eyes looked at Wesker as she mumbled," monsters," before she began working on those arrays as well.

The Mayor looked at the newspaper that was delivered today, and with a smile on his face he decided to take a day off. Their saviour has yet again done the impossible and saved people that were destined to die. It was good news, it must be celebrated.
"Seems like he is having his fun," Rivas spoke as he read the news before a smile appeared on his face as well. "I wonder when I will be able to see him again," he spoke with a nostalgic gaze as he looked at the distant horizon.

[Location: Azenor, City of Light!]
Blushing heavily, Ameliana looked at the news, before she put it down and then continued looking at the picture of Adam in the photo. Her smile blossomed as she then slowly brought that picture close to her and kissed it slightly, before placing it near her heart.
And much similar to her, a receptionist in the same city, Evelyn, hummed with an ever present smile on her face. Her friend, Layla, knowing the reason for her happiness sighed as she read the news once again.
’Seriously, this guy. I don’t have words for him anymore,’ Layla mumbled as she looked at the love struck Evelyn before she continued back to her work.

[Location: Unknown!]
Zero, the 6th Fate Weaver, ran through the forest as fast he could. His mind ran continuously as he tried to understand the force behind the power of Neptune, and the more he failed to understand that, the more he realised how weak he was.
In his mind, there was only one thing going on.
HE MUST GET STRONGER NO MATTER WHAT!

[Location: Deepest prison of Hell, in the cell where Laplace is trapped!]
"Neptune. Adam Wesker. Just you bastards wait until I get out of here. I will show you what a real hell is," Laplace vowed as he slowly healed his two halves. The pain was still there, but feeling continuously for more than 3 days, has made him somewhat numb towards it.

And now that his mind was getting clearer, he tried recalling the entire battle, while preparing a plan to take down Adam and Neptune in the future when he will surely face them again.

[Location: Hell, The Vampire Kingdom!]
"It was an honour to serve you, my Queen," Milliam spoke as she looked at Primula, the Vampire queen, who simply was giddy as she looked at her prize. The body of the Heavenly Guardian.
Her eyes filled with ecstasy, she looked at the Guardian before turning to Milliam as she spoke,
"You have served me well. Tell me is there anything you desire?"
"Then if I may," and Milliam began pressing her desire in front of the queen.

[Location: ???]
Ignirus, the Son of Laplace, looked at the piles of notes in front of him, his mind in a complete mess as he began reading them one by one.
The entire thing, the entire war that he had witnessed had left him speechless. There were so many questions that he had unanswered, and even the old concepts got complicated. Everything he knew about the Angels and demons needed to be revised once again.
The only good thing that came out of this was that Adam fulfilled all his promises to him. Including this ’Answer book’ that he left here which answered most of the questions he had regarding the situation.
"Sir," his assistant asked with concern over her face but Ignirus just kept reading through the notes.
Big changes are going to occur in the entire Zarraf. And his organization must also go through a fundamental change. The goals, the objectives and the principles, everything was going to be revised.
"Perhaps…" he mumbled before his eyes got focused even more than before.
…
Things were progressing much faster than before. What Adam has done, was creating more waves and as time will pass, things will only deviate from the original timeline.
Will he be able to handle the influx of players? And the changes in the future, will he still be able to use his future knowledge to his aid? Things were getting more hectic with time…
But yet again, it doesn’t really matter does it?
After all… we can always restart.

Author’s Note:
Thank you all of you for staying with this story till here. I had a blast writing this one, and will continue to do so in the future. This was a ’short’ prologue that introduces you to the story and concepts of the novel. From here onwards players will be actively involved in the story, and we will go deeper into each of the Fate Weavers, Kingdoms, Gods and such.
I will also publish 15-20 Side stories showing ’If’ chapters at the end of April. They will show all the failures that Adam has gone through, and also answer certain questions regarding Heaven’s wheel, Son of Laplace, Neptune’s powers, the promises and many more things.
Be sure to check them when the chapters come out.
