Christopher’s sudden return home ended the group hug between the mother and daughters, and the four of them sat on the living room sofa.

"Alice! When is Benjamin coming over?"

Seeing Alice there without seeing Benjamin, Christopher immediately asked, with a hint of dissatisfaction in his tone.

"We’re about to get divorced. What does your family’s business have to do with me?" Benjamin replied detachedly, showing no intention of rushing over.

Alice was so furious she rubbed her forehead, wanting to say to the man on the other end, "Go to hell!" But she held back.

Her parents were still waiting for news of his arrival, and tomorrow was her sister and brother-in-law’s big day. She couldn’t afford to cause any trouble with him now.

But once tomorrow is over, she’ll immediately go to the Civil Affairs Bureau with him to get divorce papers sorted out. She doesn’t want to delay a moment longer.
