To make up for her mistake, Alice Turner deliberately took two days off. She got up early this morning to make nourishing chicken soup for Lily Turner.
"Sis! Thank you, you’re the best to me."

"Stop acting cute, just hurry up and drink it."

Seeing Lily focus on drinking the chicken soup, Alice sat nearby with a happy smile. Watching her little sister enjoy it so much made her feel like all her morning efforts had been worth it.
When Easton Holmes came out of the bathroom, Lily had already drunk half the chicken soup. Seeing him walk over, she swallowed a mouthful and said, "My sister’s chicken soup is so delicious, you should try some too."
She pointed with the hand holding the spoon toward the thermos on the coffee table, indicating that he should drink the chicken soup inside.
"You have it,"
Easton didn’t give Lily a chance to persuade him to drink the chicken soup again. After pausing briefly, he immediately added, "You two sit tight, I’m going out for a bit."
These last words were said to both sisters, and after speaking, he promptly turned and left the hospital room.
Where is that guy rushing off to again?
Lily was filled with curiosity but didn’t show it. She continued calmly sipping her chicken soup from the bowl.
"Sis! You don’t need to stay here with me, hurry to work." Only after finishing the chicken soup did Lily suddenly remember this matter, tilting her head to urge her.
Alice truthfully replied, "I took a leave."
