Unaware of these circumstances, Easton Holmes and Lily Turner were at the hospital. If it hadn’t been for her unexpected pregnancy complications leading to hospitalization, he would have rushed out to find his mother.

Easton Holmes was very angry about his mother’s troublemaking at the Turner Family’s place. He decided to wait until Lily Turner was discharged before confronting his mother.

"Why are you still staying here?"

Upon waking up, Lily Turner saw Easton Holmes still lying beside her and blurted out this question.

Hearing this, he pinched her cheek. "My wife is here; of course, I have to stay here too."

Lily Turner swatted away the hand pinching her cheek. Her face flushed red, and she felt hot, knowing full well the reason behind it all.

Easton Holmes leaned in and kissed her flushed cheek, whispering in her ear, "Am I annoying now? I could be even more annoying."

As he spoke, his hand slipped under her clothing.

"Easton Holmes! This is a hospital, not home. Behave yourself." Lily Turner yanked out the hand slipping inside her clothes, and fearing it would venture in again, she held onto it tightly.

Easton Holmes chuckled mischievously, "Wife! If I wanted to misbehave, do you think you could stop me?"

With a simple flick of his wrist, the hand she held slipped free effortlessly.

"I can’t stop you, but your daughter can." In desperation, Lily Turner used the child in her womb as her shield, not believing he would ignore their child’s safety.

This girl! She’s really something.

Upon hearing this, Easton Holmes was instantly disarmed, the mischievous smile fading from his face. He sighed, "Alas! My wife is truly so naive."

He had just been teasing, but she took it seriously along with her body.

To prevent his body from getting out of control, he turned over and sat up, creating some distance between them.

"What’s wrong? Are you mad at me?"

A sigh from above startled Lily Turner, and she looked up only to find herself face to face with an enlarged handsome face.

She was momentarily stunned and instinctively tried to pull back, but before she could, a large hand cupped the back of her head.
