After Alice Turner left, Sophia Wood, Lily Turner, and Easton Holmes went into the living room. Sophia’s face was very grim, her eyes filled with anger as she looked at the other two.
"Mom! I..."
Easton Holmes was the first to break the silence, but before he could say anything further, Sophia Wood raised her hand to interrupt him, "Don’t call me mom. I don’t have a son your age."
Easton expected this situation; he wasn’t surprised at all, but he did feel a bit unhappy inside.
"You are my wife’s mom, which makes you my mom. It’s only fair that I call you mom." He spoke with righteous justification, confident and logical.
Sophia clearly didn’t expect Easton to say this and was momentarily stunned, but she soon regained her composure.
"I don’t agree with my daughter marrying you, so please leave our house immediately." She raised her hand in a gesture to signal Easton to leave promptly.
"Lily and I are already legally married. We..."
"Then get a divorce. I will never agree to the two of you being together."
Once again, Easton’s words were cut off by Sophia, this time even more sharply and rudely.
Being interrupted twice, Easton felt very displeased, but since the one interrupting him was his wife’s biological mother, he had to silently endure the irritation.
"Even if you don’t agree, it doesn’t matter. I’m already pregnant. I don’t want my child to be born without a father." After a long silence, Lily suddenly spoke up, and her words left the other two extremely shocked, although the extent of their shock was different.

Easton’s patience had limits, especially when Sophia’s words struck a nerve. He knew he had to respect his elders, but that didn’t mean he would endure everything with silence.
With these words, Sophia’s brow immediately furrowed, and her face became even more grim than before, "The child is in my daughter’s belly. If I want her to abort it, she will. I’d like to see who dares to stop me!"
Filled with rage, she appeared quite furious.

If she were not young, she thought she might have fainted from lack of oxygen due to her troubled breathing.
