Chapter 387: Chapter 387: Please Take Your Wife and Leave

Amelia Linton didn’t know if she was naturally slow or just confused by anger, but even now, she hadn’t figured out what Callix Linton was actually saying.

"Dad! Why are you calling me unreasonable again? How am I unreasonable?" She turned to face her father with dissatisfaction.

Callix Linton merely glanced at Amelia without uttering a word in response to her questions. He then turned his attention to Fabian Holmes, who was sitting on his other side. "She is unreasonable, and you?"

The chances of the couple showing up at the house together were very low. Especially in recent years, apart from holidays, he seldom saw the two of them together at his place.

Today, they suddenly showed up together, and he didn’t need to think hard to know what they were here for.

Callix Linton stared unblinkingly at Fabian Holmes. His gaze always had a penetrating power, a gaze that Fabian feared since he was young, and still did even as he grew older.

"Dad! We really aren’t here to cause trouble today. We just came to see you and, by the way, check on Easton and his wife." As he spoke, he tried hard not to meet Callix Linton’s eyes, so he could speak more smoothly.

"What wife? She’s not Easton’s wife." Callix hadn’t said anything yet when Amelia already voiced her discontent, her words carrying disdain and dissatisfaction toward Lily Turner.

Just after Amelia finished speaking, Callix turned to look at Lily Turner, and seeing that she hadn’t shown any emotional change, he felt somewhat relieved.

"Mr. Fabian Holmes! Please take your wife and leave." Although Callix appeared calm on the surface, in reality, he was extremely angry, almost on the brink of exploding.

Amelia, however, was not aware of the need to retreat and stubbornly continued forward, "Dad! I’m your daughter, how can you always side with an outsider?"

The "outsider" she referred to was none other than Lily Turner, who sat nearby.

"You are not my daughter. I have no such unreasonable daughter." Callix waved a large hand, pointing directly to the door. "At once! Immediately! Leave here!"

He spoke decisively and firmly, leaving no room for doubt or contradiction.

"Dad! You..."

"Leave!"

Before Amelia could finish her sentence, Callix ruthlessly interrupted her. She could never have imagined her father would treat her like this, and all because of a girl like that.

Worried things might escalate further, Fabian hurriedly got up and walked over, pulling Amelia up from the sofa. "Dad! We’ll leave now and come visit another day."

He hurriedly said this and pulled her along, walking out.

"Lily Turner! Don’t think that just because my Dad is protecting you, I can’t do anything about you. I’m telling you, dream on." As Fabian pulled her, Amelia could only shout at Lily Turner, her body twisting in anger.

If she could shake off the hand holding her, she would definitely go back to give Lily two slaps, only then would she feel relieved.

Just seeing that girl made her furious.

Fabian turned back to glance at Callix sitting on the sofa. Seeing Callix’s face turning extremely ugly, he quickly sped up his pace, pulling Amelia out of the living room and heading straight for the door.

Bam!

Hearing the door slam shut, Lily Turner knew her father-in-law and mother-in-law had left. Her heart, which had been on edge, slowly settled back into place. But when she saw that Callix still had a sullen face, it made her heart suspend again.
