’Damn, so I really got a reward on the very first try? What kind of luck was that? And THREE THOUSAND AGILITY POINTS?!! That’s almost twice my stat.

Plus, even the stat couldn’t be seen as two hundred is double of hundred in terms of strength, each stat point is a great addition on its own.’ Vritra was pleasantly surprised at such a gain. He didn’t think for a moment that he could actually obtain anything.

He looked around and saw nothing. He tried to move but couldn’t. Moments passed and soon several minutes had passed, yet the concept of time seemed meaningless here.

’What if I spin again? Will I get something else?’ Vritra wondered as an expectant smile appeared on his face.

Vritra sighed, but he wasn’t saddened by this message. He had expected that. Still, he was quite happy with so many stat points. His speed, reaction time, and such things had just become several times better. This was a huge upgrade.

Just as the last message had popped in front of him, Vritra saw a light flash exactly in front of him. He closed his eye for a moment, then opened and saw something bright in front of him.

As his vision adjusted, he was able to clearly see it. It looked like the hand of a clock—a very stylish clock—gold coloured and appearing very exquisite.

’Is this the Divine Sin Arrow? Was that the last test? Wait, if I didn’t have any sin points, wouldn’t I be stuck in this darkness until I died?’ Vritra felt a chill. Then he hesitatingly extended his right hand towards the long arrow.

Just as his fingers touched it, several messages flashed in front of him.

[You have obtained the Divine Sin Arrow.]

[Would you like to merge it with the Divine Sin Wheel?]

"...Yes," Vritra spoke, believing that there shouldn’t be any harm in doing so.

Just as he spoke, the golden arrow broke into energy particles and was absorbed into his body, as everything became dark again.

[Merging process has started.]

[Progress: 0.00%]

[Time left: 3 days.]

"..." Vritra read the messages, the only thing he could currently see.

’Three days? That’s a bit long. Guess I will have to wait.’ Vritra didn’t think too much about it. He had already obtained quite a lot from this trip—even if it isn’t that good, he wouldn’t be at a loss.

"Now, how do I get out of this place?" he mumbled, and decided to use the key again that brought him here, as he bought another sin key.

...

Once again, Vritra went through the same experience as he soon found himself standing on that exact spot, on the carving drawing.

"I am back!!" Vritra exclaimed and looked down at himself. Everything seemed perfectly fine.

"What just happened? I couldn’t sense anything. Where were you teleported?" Yasmine asked. She too was in complete darkness just moments ago.

"I got the Divine Sin Arrow. I don’t know where I was earlier. Anyway, it is time to return home," Vritra replied. He just wanted to run back to the temple.

"Yeah, let’s go. I’m missing my cute mother in law as well," Yasmine said.

While the two chatted, Vritra made his way back to the door. By now most of the people had regained their consciousness, and they were drinking healing potions and already looking much better.

None of them tried to leave even though the door was already open. They didn’t notice any changes.

Vritra stared at them for a few seconds. He had obtained enough sin points from them, so there was no need for them anymore. He had already planned to wipe out everyone from the Nine Pacts, but he wasn’t sure about the Golden Moon. After all, he didn’t have any problem with them.

’Do you think I should spare them or just kill them all?’ Vritra asked. Silencing all of them here and now might be good, but killing so many of both organizations might just pull much more attention.

"You would already be against the Nine Pacts after this, and that is a dangerous organization. Legion ranked aren’t even considered that great there, so you can understand. I think it is better to avoid a little trouble now.

And they are a rather good organization. Of course, there is corruption everywhere, so it is your choice, personally it isn’t a bad choice to let them go." Yasmine said. She didn’t want him to turn into someone who just killed anyone mindlessly.

"Hey everyone," Vritra called out as all the tired gazes drifted towards him and sin points came, though not as many as before.

"Golden Moon, you leave this place first. Get as far away from here as possible, and if I find you lingering around here, you will die." Vritra said and made a shooing away motion with his hand.

"R- Really?" the dragon mask asked. His half visible face began to cry, and he had a stupid smile.

"You mean I am lying? Or do you want to stay here?" Vritra said lazily, shaking his head.

"T- Thank you, sir. I will forever be indebted to you. L- Let’s go, everyone." The dragon-masked man waved his hand and ran out of the place along with his team as fast as he could.

The Nine Pact people were shifting uncomfortably and feared the worst. They just wanted to run away after mixing into those white dogs, but they were too afraid of Vritra.

They hoped that he really had stopped them to have a talk.

After Golden Moon left, Vritra glanced at all the members and spoke: "So how do you all like this place?"

Hearing his question, they all looked at him in confusion. Only after Vritra added more words did they understand the horror behind it.

"Since you would be resting here for eternity."

"R- RUN!!" someone shouted, and they madly charged towards the door. Thousands of people rushed toward one door—it was a complete mess.

Vritra shook his head and shouted: "Boys, it’s hunting time."

Two metallic balls flew out. They were only the size of a pinball and they moved at extreme speed.

Amongst the screams of terror and panic, the slight whooshing sound could be heard. The two metallic spheres pierced through the skull of one man after another. They passed through their bodies as if they were just moving around casually in the air—there was no resistance at all.

Fountains of blood spluttered in the air, pieces of brain were flying all over the place, and the sound of bones being crushed continued to ring out. Wherever the two Myriad Soul Wraiths passed, they left behind a trail of death and blood, creating a gruesome scene.

There were around five thousand people from the Nine Pacts, and at this moment, all of them were being butchered.
