Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Beast Attack Battle!

"Silver Feather Spell, Shoot!" Suddenly, a small hole in the formation appeared as Fengyu cast his spell, sending it right into the gathering of beasts on the other side.

"SQUEEAAAK!" a rat squeaked right before it died, the arrow piercing its body and sticking it to the ground.

"SQUEAAAK!"

"SQUEAAAAAAK!"

The other earth rats shouted while casting their innate spells, firing earth bullets at the formation. Unfortunately, the formation was closed again, so their attack failed.

They followed Fengyu with their eyes and ran along the formation to where he was going, seemingly wanting to find an opportunity to attack him!

"Senior brother, should we also cast our spells?" Ming asked while looking over, the hoe in his hand slightly raised, ready to be used.

"Just prepare your spells, I have planned to open the formation ahead for these small beasts to enter. We can then kill them together," Fengyu said while seemingly running, but actually barely doing a jog.

He wanted to gather the attention of these beasts as much as possible and lead them all to the barricade.

While doing so, he calculated the number of beasts on the other side.

"Twelve rats, one of which I just killed... four, no, five wood squirrels. They seem to be preparing to hurl something at me? And, three fire rabbits. Their legs are long and have fiery tips, it seems like they’re stronger fighting on the ground."

Soon, even with his light jog, he finally arrived at the weak point.

When the rats hurled their earth bullets at the point, they saw the formation tremble!

Their expressions changed from anxious to ones of delight, quickly hurling more spells.

Seeing it was a bit slow, the biggest rat squeaked at the squirrels, then at the rabbits, telling both groups to help.

Two squirrels stepped forward and spit out the acorns in their mouths with an extremely strong power, causing the formation to tremble even stronger!

The rabbits didn’t follow and jumped forward, using their large feet to attack the formation.

When their feet hit the formation, a slight flame rose, burning the formation for a moment.

The largest rat, seeing success in sight, used its whole power to send a large earth bullet into the formation.

Crack!

A crack appeared in the formation and quickly spread, opening just enough to fit these small beasts.

With excited expressions, instantly, all the rats entered it, followed by the squirrels. Only the rabbits were hesitant, leading to a single rabbit entering.

Right when they entered and were about to give chase to the ’fleeing’ Fengyu, they suddenly saw a shadow form on the ground.

"Stone Boulder Summoning Spell, Fall!" Ming raised his hoe and smashed it on the ground, the stone boulder he grabbed from the air becoming the summoned boulder, allowing him to instantly cast the spell without preparation.

SMASH

Instantly, the boulder smashed onto the rats and squirrels, killing over half of them with a single move!

"SQUEAAAK! SQUEAAAK!" the remaining rats shouted in shock, about to dig into the ground.

"Earth Hardening Spell, Harden!" Ming, having expected this, was barely able to cast the spell in time.

"Water Chain Spell, Chain!" Ling cast the spell she prepared, chaining the remaining five beasts.

She hurriedly cast another spell, "Water Whip Spell, Form!"

A water whip formed in her hands, which she then used to quickly attack the chained beasts.

Each of her whips carried the strength of a waterfall crashing down. Hitting the beasts’ heads, she was able to kill them nearly instantly.

"Silver Feather Spell, Shoot!" Fengyu shouted as he turned, his feather rapidly flying through the air and hitting the only rabbit in the formation.

His hand gripped the flute in his hands but he didn’t use it.

Saving spiritual power now was paramount!

The rabbit died, leaving those two rabbits outside to squeak in shock.

Fengyu quickly moved his hands again and cast his spell again –

The silver feather flew through the opening and landed on one of the rabbits outside, killing it right away!

"SQUEAAAAAAAAK!" the remaining rabbit squeaked in shock and jumped away, several steps behind, not turning to look at its dead family.

The formation closed right after casting the spell, and Fengyu stopped looking further.

He tried to absorb the spiritual power around to quickly regenerate in preparation for the wolves!

Just as he was thinking of them, he suddenly saw several wolves come out of the forest!

"AWOOOO!" The leading wolf howled, telling the rabbit to stay where it was.

"AWOOOOOOO!" It directly turned to the formation, its eyes piercing through the formation.

"AWOOOO! AWOOOOO!" it called out several times.

Fengyu heard it calling more beasts, telling them that he was injured and easy prey.

In mere seconds, more rats and squirrels appeared, and among them, there was even a hedgehog!

Fengyu looked serious, his hands moving, his thoughts intertwining as he prepared another spell.

When the beasts came closer, this time, the beasts didn’t enter the formation but cast spells from outside.

They truly hit the formation – although it wasn’t enough to destroy it, Fengyu knew that prolonged damage would make it easy for the wolves behind them to destroy it afterward!

"Cast spells, I will open the formation for you to attack," he muttered under his breath.

Right after doing so, he himself also cast a spell – "Silver Feather Spell, Shoot!"

"Fwuuuuuu-"

A tune sounded and the feather flew through the flute!

It flew out the opened formation and directly hit the hedgehog!

Before the hedgehog could do anything, it was already pierced and killed...

"Earth Bullet Spell, Shoot!" Ming also knew the simple spell of Earth Bullet. He quickly formed it and shot it out, the formation opening up at just the right moment!

"SQUEAAAK!" he hit a rat squarely on the head and killed it right away.

"AWOOOO!"

Just as Ling was about to continue, suddenly, a howling sounded from behind, delaying her for a moment.

But in that moment when her spell was supposed to leave, the formation opened –

Coincidentally, a rat just cast its spell, the earth bullet hurling right through it and flying towards Ling-

She didn’t know whether to interrupt her spell or not –

Ming was about to cast a protection spell, but it was too late!

SPLATTER

The bullet pierced into her shoulder, barely avoiding her heart because Wind Claw, who had been looking cautiously for an opportunity, pulled her to the side with his leg!

Just then, Fengyu saw the wolves rushing forward!
