Raising A Few Wives in a Beast Apocalypse-Chapter 503: Enjoying the ocean

A few days later(in the embryo)...

Muku and the others helped everyone settle in. This included getting them livestock and seeds for those who wanted to give up on the Evolver life.

Of course, normal animals no longer existed. However, unranked beasts that resembled them existed, so those became the new livestock.

Seeds were a bit troublesome to get, but they were found soon enough. And with the help of plant elementalists including Freya, they were made to fully grow in a few minutes.

This was a major advantage that people got from the apocalypse.

While that happened, Lisa and her crew started planning a city that would be built later on when there are more people and the embryo has grown bigger.

This was commended by Muku and the others as they'd definitely get tons of KP from that.

They weren't sure if Belief energy would stop being useful after they reach R7, but it was better to be safe after all.

Anyway, after all the internal logistics were taken care of, the group finally went back out. It was time to go to the ocean.

As for how they knew where it was... Their mana sense could now cover the whole world so it was pretty easy to spot.

But they didn't do that as who knew who or what would be pissed off by that. They weren't strong enough to take on the whole world after all.

In fact, even R6 beasts didn't dare try it as it was basically placing a target on your back from all sides.

Instead of that risky method, the group relied on Elsa and her water fairy. She was extremely sensitive to bodies of water after they got to a certain amount.

It was something she got after getting the fairy.

Fortunately, she could freely manipulate it or it might have sucked as most of the plant surface was water.

Anyway, she led them to the biggest source she could sense.

With their strength and speed, it only took them half a day to reach the source which was halfway across the world.

Some sources were closer. But considering the size of R6s. They'd definitely gather more in the largest source...

....

After arriving they didn't immediately start hunting.

It would be dumb to do so without scouting the location first. A rookie mistake they would never make.

Plus...

"Wow! So beautiful! I've never seen the ocean before. I feel so small. And look at that beach!... Can we first enjoy this place before going to hunt?" Jade was the first to speak.

Her eyes glowed with wonder as she looked at the beauty of nature that almost made her forget that they were in an apocalypse.

Plus there were at least a few thousand beasts ranging from R1 to R3 hiding close to the shoreline ready to pounce on anyone who dares jump into the water.

Of course, those weren't a problem for them, but it showed that things weren't as peaceful as they seemed.

"What do you think?" Muku replied with a question.

Before Jade could say anything else. She saw his clothes turning from typical clothes to swimming shorts.

Yup, that's right. Muku was wearing his nightmare armour which made everyone quite envious.

Anyway, he quickly jumped into the water after that.

Something that brought the girls back to reality as they had been entranced by his chiseled body.

Even Elsa who was always trying to convince herself that she wasn't interested couldn't help but be dazed. She felt shame after though.

At the same time, all the weak beasts in the area were scared off.

Even when his aura was completely suppressed, their instincts still shouted at them to run. And so they did.

Weak beasts like them lived mostly thanks to their instincts after all.

Whenever their instincts said run, that's what they did. And all that hadn't done so usually ended up dead.

Unfortunately for these beasts, they had met Muku's group after they found out that every life on the planet contributed to the timer until the next evolution.

For that reason, he casually captured all the beasts. Destroyed those that seemed useless and kept the rest as seafood for the people in the embryo.

As for his group, they will eat whatever R6s they kill.

Anyway, the group then enjoyed the rest of their day. Playing water sports and beach games including volleyball.

They did it all like unranked people to completely enjoy it.

What they didn't know was that their actions were horrifying to the people who were spying on them.

Of course, the people had long been spotted. Muku and the girls just chose not to do anything about them.

This was obviously because they were mostly paying attention to Muku. If they were paying attention to the girls instead, they might have been dead by that point. At the very least, they would have had their legs broken.

As for why they were doing this. It was likely because of what they saw Muku doing before. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

He has cleared out the whole place in such a mysterious way.

It was possibly also why they weren't getting close. After all, the strongest of them was only a Pseudo R4. And they had seen many beasts with strength equal to theirs getting taken care of at once by Muku.

Their spying went on for a few hours before they left.

It seemed they had chickened out.

Which was understandable. After all, a lot of people in the apocalypse had turned evil. Instead of making humans gather together, the apocalypse had just enhanced the qualities that already existed.

So meeting strangers, especially ones stronger than you was a gamble.

And this group chose to avoid the encounter instead.

Something Muku admired about them actually.

No matter what, they were at least smart. Their weakness likely played a part. But that didn't matter. It didn't change anything that they were smart in backing off.

And so, Muku's group enjoyed the rest of their day.

That was until it was almost evening.

The group appeared again. This time they were joined by a few more individuals. All the new individuals had late R4 strength. Which was quite an impressive honestly.

It was really hard to evolve past R3 after all.

Since Muku's group was done with their fun and was just chilling on the beach. They didn't mind the visitors.

And the group didn't give off threatening auras, so it was safe to say that they weren't looking for a fight.

Muku even guessed that they had waited until now to come because his group would be done with their fun.

And the R4s were likely there as the leaders instead of a show of strength... even if that might also be part of the reason why they were there....

"Hello. How may we help you?" Muku spoke as soon as the group got close enough to hear him.

"Hello, Sir... we come in peace. So please don't be alarmed. We would like to speak to you for a moment if you don't mind..." The man who seemed to be the leader replied respectfully.

"Okay. Come and speak then" Muku replied as he turned around. His swimming trunks tunred to normal clothes as he did that.

The opposite side was shocked and awed. Seeing this Muku smirked a little. Clearly pleased.

The girls on the other hand rolled their eyes. They had all returned to normal clothes but Muku had refused.

It was only now that they realised the reason. It seemed he just wanted to look cool in front of complete strangers.

It was so childish and yet on brand for him.

Of course, they didn't call him out. Instead, they returned to the embryo and left him to deal with the group.

As for how they could do that... well, Muku has given them the authority. Of course, it used their own mana. Which was the major reason he did it. He was quite cheap with his mana after all.

Seeing the girls disappear made the other side even more shocked. So shocked they didn't know what to do. After all, they had never seen anything like it and they couldn't figure out how it worked no matter how much they thought about it.

"Don't mind them. They had other matters to take care of. Instead, take a seat and tell me why you're here... well, you don't have to tell me why you're here since that's none of my business. But what do you want with me?" Muku spoke while gesturing for them to sit on the metal chairs that appeared in front of them as he spoke.

The group thanked him and sat down.

"Where should I start..." The leader seemed confused about what to say.

"We're the Ocean tribe. We formed soon after the apocalypse began. We realized that the beasts close to the ocean on both sides aren't too strong so we took it as our home..." a young man beside the assumed leader spoke...
