Rabbit Must Die-Chapter 618 - 217: Before Alchemy, First Try Using _1
Upon hearing this, Feidan pinched his own small mustache and said, "Tell them to scram!"
The little mouse whispered, "Sir, they said they are not here to ask for medicinal food. They mentioned they’ve brought you something good."
Feidan scoffed and said, "What good thing could two fools possibly bring? Tell them to scram quickly and not to disturb my alchemy." After speaking, Feidan cursed, "They claim to have studied under the Wenqu Star Monarch for a while, but in my opinion, that Wenqu Star Monarch is nothing but a petty thief. Otherwise, how could he have trained such two bastards."
The little mouse obediently said, "Sir, this is the letter they’ve given you. They said you’ll understand once you read it."
Feidan sneered, "Out of respect for the State Preceptor, I’ll see what kind of tricks these two fools can come up with."
With a wave of his hand, the paper in the little mouse’s hand flew into Feidan’s grasp. Upon looking at it, Feidan saw a mess of scribbles on the paper: a small house, a tree with a bunch of little baby-like fruits hanging from it. Then a rabbit was eating the fruits... The second picture showed two bald, muscular men holding a rabbit outside of a large, smoking house.
Reaching this point, Feidan’s eyebrows tightly furrowed, then he muttered to himself, "Ginseng Fruits? A rabbit that ate Ginseng Fruits? Interesting..."
After finishing his thoughts, Feidan said, "Let them in."
The little mouse nodded obediently and backed out.
Soon after, Kui Yi and Kui Er entered the alchemy room with Qin Shou.
Speaking of the alchemy room, it was actually an abyss!
The entire abyss was unfathomably deep, pitch-black below, with cold air blowing up from beneath.
In the middle stood a huge pillar, atop which a yellow-robed red-clawed mouse spirit was standing. In front of the mouse spirit was a colossal green pill furnace, hanging mid-air, suspended by eight iron chains.
Looking down along the walls of the abyss, glowing caves could be seen below. From Qin Shou’s perspective, he could see that the cave opposite seemed to contain something.
It seemed that these caves were Feidan’s storage places, resembling the pill shelves or the medicine shelves in the Supreme Elder Lord’s alchemy room...
While Qin Shou was surveying Feidan’s alchemy room, Feidan also cast a sidelong glance at Qin Shou. After taking a look, his eyes suddenly lit up, flickering with a strange glow! Qin Shou swore that the light he saw was not merely happiness but also had an inexplicable excitement in it! He couldn’t understand what the damn mouse was so excited about.
At that moment, Feidan cursed, "How many Ginseng Fruits has this damn rabbit eaten? It’s still radiating the scent of Ginseng Fruits even now!"
Upon hearing that, Kui Yi immediately shouted, "This guy ate all the Ginseng Fruits on the entire Ginseng Fruit tree!"
Feidan was startled and then said, "That’s not right; I heard that Guiche and the Mountain Spider were the ones going after the Ginseng Fruit tree. How did the rabbit end up in your hands?"
Kui Yi blurted out right away, "We encountered it at the entrance. We snatched the rabbit away."
"Really?" Feidan eyed Kui Yi suspiciously.
Kui Yi’s statement was, of course, truthful, so he stood his ground confidently. Obviously, Feidan was a cunning and crafty fellow and had some trust issues with Kui Yi, so he turned his gaze to Kui Er.
Though not the brightest, Kui Er knew that Kui Yi hadn’t lied, just omitted some details, so he too stood his ground with confidence.
After watching for a while, Feidan seemed to believe Kui Yi’s words and waved his hand, saying, "Regardless of whether your story is true or false, the Ginseng Fruits inside this rabbit’s belly are real. Hand over the rabbit to me, and you can leave."
Kui Yi immediately said, "You can have the rabbit, but what will you give us in exchange?"
Upon hearing this, Feidan paused and retorted, "Exchange?"
Feidan couldn’t help but laugh and cry as he said, "Do you have any idea how important the task I’m doing is?"
Kui Yi gave him a fierce stare and said, "That’s none of my damn business! Either you trade us something valuable, or we’ll take the Rabbit ourselves, find a place to stew it, and enjoy the meat."
Feidan stared straight at Kui Yi, who didn’t budge an inch.
After a long while, Feidan helplessly shook his head and said, "Fine, fine, I’m scared of you two."
With that, Feidan waved his hand, and a Xumi Bag flew out of a cave. He weighed it in his hand for a moment and then said, "This is the Beiming Fish, your Kun clan’s favorite. Take a good look, this fish has three stripes on its body, one stripe for a hundred years, two for a thousand, and three for ten thousand. The benefits of a ten thousand year old Beiming Fish to you don’t need to be spelled out, do they? How about we trade for this?"
As soon as Kui Er heard this, his eyes lit up, and he hurriedly nodded, about to agree.
But Kui Yi slapped him on the back of his head, sending his words right back, and then asked, "How many do you have?"
Feidan replied, "A hundred."
Kui Yi nodded slightly and said, "That’s more like it, we’ll take it!"
Feidan said, "A hundred of them, saving you a millennia of arduous cultivation, you’re making a killing."
In the midst of talking, Feidan waved his hand and threw the Xumi Bag toward Kui Yi. Kui Yi caught it without even looking and immediately tossed the Rabbit towards Feidan, then turned around with Kui Er and walked away, saying, "Let’s go, it’s time to stew some fish."
"Close the door behind you," Feidan shouted.
Bang!
Kui Yi swung his hand, and the door slammed right into the frame, completely deforming it.
Seeing this, Feidan cursed, "Damn it, my door!"
After swearing, Feidan glanced at the Rabbit in his hand, and the Rabbit gave him a toothy grin, revealing a pair of white teeth that reflected the light of the fire, glaringly bright.
Feidan said, "Rabbit, it’s your bad luck you ate something you shouldn’t have. You deserve to be refined into a pill."
After saying that, Feidan waved his hand, tossing the Rabbit into the air, and then pointed at Qin Shou. A sphere of water enveloped Qin Shou and began to swirl around rapidly, tossing him about as if he’d been thrown into a washing machine... Clearly, Feidan thought he was dirty and was giving him a bath.
But Qin Shou quickly realized something was off. A bath? This process seemed a little wrong!
Then he heard Feidan mutter to himself, "Such a pretty Rabbit, it’d be a pity to just throw it into a pot. Let’s clean it up for my use."
After that, Feidan scratched his crotch!
Qin Shou thought he saw something like a stick swinging back and forth under that yellow Daoist robe...
In that instant, Qin Shou felt a chilling breeze blow across his butt... He could no longer stay composed, his mind filled with just one thought, "Damn Kui Yi and Kui Er, come back and save me now!"
Unfortunately, at this moment, Qin Shou tragically discovered that although his mouth was open, he couldn’t make any sound!
