Queen Mommy's Six Genius Babies Found the CEO Daddy-Chapter 126: He’s Mine
Hilton Group.
When Alex saw Lucas and Sophia arrive together, surprise flashed across his face.
"Miss Morgan, you had time to come in today?"
"Mhm. Just checking in."
Alex raised a brow, then noticed the mark on Lucas’s neck.
Instant understanding dawned on him.
Sophia coughed lightly.
As soon as they walked past Alex, she yanked Lucas’s collar up.
"What are you doing?" he murmured.
Sophia’s cheeks reddened. "You might not care about shame, but I do."
Lucas pried her hand away. "Don’t be shy. If I’m not scared, why are you?"
From the moment they stepped inside, employees’ eyes followed them, amusement sparkling in every glance.
It was obvious everyone had noticed the hickey on Lucas’s neck.
No one dared say anything aloud, but their looks alone made Sophia’s entire body tense.
Being stared at like that made her deeply uncomfortable.
She had come early with Lucas because she wanted to see who exactly had "saved" him last night. If the situation went the way she imagined, that mark on Lucas’s neck would become a weapon in her hand.
But by noon, no one had shown up.
And now she was hungry.
"Lucas, I’m starving."
"Alright. Let’s call it a day and grab lunch."
They got up to leave when—you could hear the click of heels across the polished floor, sharp and deliberate.
Sophia turned and froze slightly.
Riley had been elegant—a musical upbringing gave her a natural grace.
But the woman approaching now? Her aura was even stronger.
"Lucas~"
The woman wore a black velvet gown, silver heels, and earrings Sophia recognized immediately—latest release, worth over two million.
Head-to-toe designer.
Showing off for her?
"Vivian, you’re awake."
Vivian Cooper smiled, sweet and airy. "Awake thanks to you. If you hadn’t helped me last night, I have no idea what I would’ve done. Thank you for bringing me back to the hotel."
She ignored Sophia first, choosing instead to say—very clearly—that Lucas was with her last night and took her to a hotel.
A thank-you on the surface.
A warning underneath.
Sophia calmly placed her hand on Lucas’s neck and adjusted his collar. "Honey, you really left the house without fixing yourself."
The hickey surfaced boldly.
Vivian’s eyes darkened for a moment.
Sophia never used such intimate tone in public unless she felt threatened.
Clearly, she viewed Vivian as an opponent worth attention.
Lucas, meanwhile, looked like he was enjoying every second of it.
"This must be Miss Morgan," Vivian said smoothly. "I’ve heard so much. Your marriage to Lucas was international news—the whole world talked about it."
Sophia faced her with a soft smile. "Is that so? I also heard you saved Lucas. I never got the chance to thank you in person. Didn’t expect to meet you today—what a coincidence."
"Is it?"
Vivian’s smile sharpened. "I thought Miss Morgan returned to Morgan Group. Are things that relaxed there?"
She had clearly done her homework. She knew Sophia had deliberately come to Hilton Group today.
Sophia’s lips lifted. "Busy, yes. But fortunately, I have a capable mind, so I finish things quickly. That leaves me time to accompany Lucas at the office when I feel like it."
She glanced sweetly at Lucas.
"Lucas and I were heading to lunch. Miss Vivian, have you eaten? If not, care to join?"
"Miss Morgan is inviting, how could I refuse? And I really should thank Lucas properly for last night."
Vivian accepted without hesitation.
Anyone ordinary would have declined.
She definitely came prepared.
Sophia was not a petty woman, but if someone dared eye what belonged to her, she certainly would not be pleased.
"Vivian, what do you like to eat?"
"I follow the host. I am easy-going. Anything is fine."
Great. A difficult one.
Sophia ordered generously when they arrived at the restaurant. But Vivian’s choices... were interesting.
Sophia chose mostly meat with a few vegetables.
Vivian, however, ordered only greens. Every single dish was bright green.
One glance at the table, and the green practically screamed for attention.
"Didn’t expect Miss Morgan to have such a figure. So it comes from eating meat?"
Right then, Sophia forked a piece of steak and popped it into her mouth without hesitation.
"Yes. People need protein. You cannot live on vegetables alone. Eat too much green, and one day you might turn into one."
"Miss Morgan certainly has a sense of humor. I have always preferred vegetables. Helps keep the body in perfect shape. Lucas must really love you. Otherwise, he would also help you manage your figure."
Taking shots at her body now?
Lucas calmly cut Sophia’s steak for her, his tone protective. "Eat however you want. Your body is already perfect. No ’management’ needed."
Even if the woman across the table had saved his life, she could not compare to his wife. He knew exactly where his loyalty lay.
Lucas even took Sophia’s hand. "Eat more. You worked hard last night."
Sophia froze.
He rarely said much, but when he did, he landed the blow.
Across from them, Vivian’s smile paused. Her brows tightened.
"Last night really was thanks to you," she said sweetly. "If you had not come, who knows what would have happened to me at the bar. I am lucky you brought me back to the hotel. I must say, your self-control was impressive. Turns out it is because you already have a beauty waiting at home."
"Of course," Lucas replied smoothly. "No treasure shines brighter than the one I keep at home."
He glanced at Sophia and playfully tapped her nose.
"I envy Miss Morgan," Vivian said, smiling but not smiling. "Having someone love you like this must feel wonderful."
"It is alright," Sophia answered lightly. "As for you, Miss Vivian, are you still single? Need me to introduce you to some men? If anyone catches your eye, you could try chatting."
Vivian shook her head. "Thank you, Miss Morgan, but I do not care for ordinary people."
"Oh? Then what type do you like?"
"Someone like Lucas."
She said it boldly, without hesitation.
Sophia’s eyes darkened, then a calm smile surfaced. "Is that so? What a pity. He is mine."
Her gaze locked onto Vivian’s across the table, sharp and unmistakably hostile...
