Chapter 631: 12.11- Rookie Pilots - Interstellar Voyage

"Fuck, what has gotten into that girl?!" Liam cursed as he narrowly dodged a heavy tool that whizzed past his head.

Shina and her teammates found themselves dodging objects that flew toward them with killing intent.

Arias’s latent telekinetic powers awakened uncontrollably out of nowhere. Objects in the vicinity, influenced by her chaotic mental state, began to levitate and swirl around violently.

Aboard the spaceship Dai An had infiltrated, there was a dangerous entity — one that possessed a similar ability to her mind control.

"That thing that had just touched her must have used some kind of mind trick on Aria!" Laura exclaimed, ducking as the alien’s soldier tentacle spun dangerously close to her side. As the tentacle lunged again, she sliced through it with a clean cut.

Unlike Dai An, who needed to maintain continuous focus to control someone, this entity could simply touch a person and issue a simple command for control. Under their influence, Aria turned her powers against her own team.

Shina approached one of the alien soldiers. Given the language barrier, communication was a hurdle, but Dai An was resourceful. She ordered the alien soldier to pass a message to his higher-ups.

She sent the voodoo doll in her arms inside the space, which stopped the rumbling across the whole ship. ’I’ll leave your ship intact in exchange for a wormhole generator,’ she articulated through visual images, hoping the soldier would understand the trade they were proposing.

The alien crew’s reluctant compliance stemmed from a deep-seated fear, not of Shina’s team per se, but also of the emblem they were honing.

Shina and her team carried the "Celestial Empire of Andarion" insignia, a symbol representing one of the most advanced and formidable nations in the galaxy, known for their aggressive and war-driven approach.

Their society was built on the principles of conquest and domination, often leading them into conflicts.

"What the heck are they doing in this forsaken part of space?!" one alien crew member muttered in their native language, unable to do a thing as they watched Shina and her team pass through.

The presence of Celestial Empire of Andarion in Voidwalkers’s territory was alarming and suggested that some significant galactic interests were at play.

Shina and her team were completely unaware of the additional fear they’ve just inflicted. They methodically removed all emblems from their spacecraft and scaffanders that could reveal their origins. The only thing that could sell them away were the LAD’s symbol on their weapons.

Bing Shi picked up the most intact ship from the pit of the earth’s core. She was acutely aware of the challenges they might face in operating an alien craft. With this in mind, she meticulously scanned each vessel for signs that might indicate familiarity or ease of operation.

Liam followed Shina closely, carrying the knocked out and securely bound Aria over his shoulder, "This place looks more crazy than my dreams."

The alien ship was a maze of technology and alien architecture they all found foreign and fascinating.

The wormhole generator they were after was located in the heart of the ship, a highly secured area.

Shina faced resistance from the alien crew when she showed them the coordinates. They argued that their ship was in no condition for further travel. They were saving it for an emergency exit, and the looming threat of enemy vessels still targeting them.

Sensing their hesitation, Shina decided to pull out the voodoo doll one more time, which instantly shifted the dynamics of the conversation, ’If I take care of the enemy vessels, will you take me to that destination?’

After a tense moment of deliberation, the aliens agreed, "We will take you."

Shina tucked the voodoo doll inside Juliet’s chest pocket, "Call mommy, once you are done playing tag, alright? These aunties will drive you there, but they are a bit weak, so they’ll need a brave young man to protect them."

"Mommy, mommy!" Stinky Bun will protect aunties! The doll bobbed its head while clutching onto Juliet’s pocket.

After Dai An switched Silvia’s soul with Nathaniel’s, she could now control him to talk in her stead. She didn’t know whose soul Lu Kai was using as his cover, but it wasn’t sealed like Silvia’s. There was no resistance when she gave out commands, and when she no longer controlled its mind, it somehow lingered in a perpetual state of sleepwalking, eternally asleep yet somehow active.

"..." Juliet entered the spacecraft with Laura, her expression stoic and focused as her team watched in disbelief.

Did their lady just deploy two rookie pilots to a real battlefield?! Nobody had understood Shina’s conversation with the voodoo doll. To them, it seemed as if Shina had just performed some sort of spell on it.

As the spacecraft disappeared, the alien crew and Shina’s team were temporarily united in their focus on their mission.

Moments later, the screens showed the spacecraft approaching the enemy vessel at a safe distance.

With a smooth motion, Juliet released the voodoo doll into space. The enemy radars could not detect it, as its body was too small.

Stinky Bun drifted towards the enemy vessel with a nudge of Juliet’s wind magic. His body was tethered to a small drone for precise delivery. Once he got close enough to the enemy vessel, a series of inexplicable and unfortunate events began to unfold.

First, the enemy ship’s navigation and shield systems went haywire, the ship veering off unpredictably.

Next, the weapons systems started malfunctioning. Energy weapons misfired, and missile bays opened and closed randomly, rendering their arsenal ineffective.

"Fuuck!" Laura cursed under her breath when a laser beam hit a part of their spacecraft. She looked upwards, as if addressing some unseen deity, "My Lady, I know I’ve sinned a lot, but have some mercy! May I remind you that I’m not intangible like Juliet!"

Shina chuckled into the microphone, "I’m praying for you, my angel. May all the luck be on your side today."

Inside the enemy ship, things were no less chaotic. Lights flickered on and off, artificial gravity fluctuated, causing crew members to float unexpectedly, and doors opened and closed, trapping some while leaving others stranded in different parts of the ship. Panic set in as they tried to make sense of the escalating series of misfortunes.
