QT: Against My Will-Chapter 544 - 8.61 - Pampering His Wife - Monster Heist
◦ "..." Lu Kai had been lying in Nathaniel’s bed fully awake, a small wet patch soaking through his underwear to the surface of his pants.
◦ His mind was racing at over million thoughts per minute as he tried to keep his mind occupied with other things. Yet, the surge of orgasms still kept crashing upon him like tidal waves; making his muscles burn from holding on too tightly.
◦ While they could keep their personal memories and thoughts private, their emotions flowed freely between them; their current pain, desires, lusts...
◦ When faced with despair, they would discard the memory of that emotion into their mental "trash can" — This technique allowed them to dampen the intensity of the emotion, masking it under an older memory.
◦ Ru Quan’s occasional bouts of sorrow, rage and self-harm were all shrugged off (even when he was with Bing Shi). Nobody questioned it, mainly because they all had experienced much worse behavior from him in the past.
◦ Lu Kai obviously didn’t throw the lust seeping through his core into his mental trashcan. It simply felt too good to be discarded, ’Hey, there. How about a little peek?’ he negotiated, ’I will look after Stinky Bun for a whole week in your stead.’
◦Ziek’s voice dripped with sarcasm as he answered, ’Ten days or kindly fuck off,’ he then showed Lu Kai a tiny glimpse of the scene between Dai An and Bing Shi.
◦ Lu Kai instinctively pinched his nose as if trying to prevent a nosebleed that would rival a fountain’s grandeur, ’Oh, damn.’

◦ "Did your fucking dicks took over your brains?" Ziek looked down at the blood and body fluids in between her legs in disbelief. He kicked Xuan Mu’s unconscious body to the side and began to clean up Bing Shi.
◦ Ru Quan chuckled slightly, ignoring the drop of sweat on his forehead, |"Probably."|
◦ Xuan Mu, who ended up in Ru Quan’s body, could only sigh at his crotch helplessly, |"You know, MuMu. It always leads us into these predicaments."| he muttered resignedly, which caused Bing Shi to burst into uncontrollable giggles.
◦ Ziek cursed at Ru Quan and Xuan Mu repeatedly. What about the initial plan of taking turns with her? Compared to those two, Lu Kai would always be a safer bet. At least, he wouldn’t have to worry that she would be put through some weird shit. Who knew what Ru Quan and Xuan Mu would do if he wasn’t present today? More weird shit, most likely.
◦ "Well, it was not that bad. I did enjoy it." Bing Shi reassured Ziek that she was alright, "I would love to have it healed naturally... it’s so rare for you to leave this type of mark on me."
◦ As if Ziek would ever listen, he swiftly activated his healing abilities. Focusing his energy, he channeled it into Bing Shi’s wounds, accelerating the healing process. Instead of ’finishing’ her off, he left her body in pristine condition and helped her with changing her clothes.
◦ After the initial shock of the sudden merging, Ru Quan and Xuan Mu gradually began to show signs of improvement. It took some time for them to untangle the intertwined aspects of their soul and regain a sense of individuality.
◦ Dai An flew around the room leisurely, sensing as if it was her time to shine, "Does anyone want to see the new spell I just learned?" She picked up the red flag, drawing it up and down like a magical wand.
◦ After Dai An gave everyone a small show, Ru Quan accompanied Bing Shi outside.
◦ Victor calmly sat on the rooftop as if he belonged there all along, "So, how come I wasn’t invited to your little gathering? I thought we two were on the same team."
◦ Bing Shi laughed lightly for being clearly ignored. She put on her mask and began to twirl the red flag in her hands.
◦ Ru Quan leaned forward slightly to cover her frame as he met Victor’s gaze, "I’m not one to beg or coax others to join me. You refused once, and I’m not going to waste my time trying to change your mind the second time."
◦ Victor’s acute senses picked up on the familiar aura emanating from Ru Quan. He stood up, his expression showing confusion over the other man’s sudden protectiveness, "You have an untouched omega back at home and instead of going after that fresh meat, you chose to fuck that...?"
◦ Ru Quan’s eyebrow shot up as he got closer to Victor, "Did you knock back a few too many drinks? Or are you just aching to get bent over too?"
◦ A hollow laugh escaped Victor, bouncing off the looming walls of the barracks, "Fucking hell, Leon or whatever name you’re going by." He scoffed, the moonlight catching a wry smile, "Don’t play the superior one with me. I remember the wreck you used to be."
◦ "So quick to recognize me?" Ru Quan grasped Victor’s ass firmly with laughter, "I swear, you’re making me want to fuck you with my boots on right now," he brazenly declared with a hint of challenge in his words.
◦ Victor’s knee shot up, connecting with Ru Quan’s midriff and effectively dislodging him from his position, "Garbage offers, garbage taste – you’ve always been a damn landfill of shitty choices. What’s your deal with me, obsessed much?"
◦ Ru Quan stifled a breath, momentarily winded by the powerful strike. He grimaced, recovering quickly from the blow, "Can’t help being drawn to you; after all, trash tends to atract trash."
◦ The two men clashed fiercely, their fists flying and words of anger exchanged in the chaotic scene. Each exchange escalated the stakes, the air around them heavy with a foreboding sense of imminent conflict.
◦ There were no flashy displays of magic or supernatural abilities. This fight was purely grounded in the sheer force of their bodies, raw, driven by unbridled anger and a desire to overpower the other.
◦ Both knew how fighting immortals like themselves was no joke. They were worse than the cockroaches. Annoying, and unkillable. Yet, they still wanted to hurt the other in any way possible.
◦ During one of his missions, Victor stumbled upon a mysterious man whose very presence exuded a distinguishable aura of gloominess. It was as if the weight of a thousand sorrows clung to him, painting an invisible tapestry of melancholy around his every step.
◦ That man would lurk on the fringes of the scene with a quiet force that seemed to seep into the surroundings. As they continued to meet sporadically, a unique bond formed between them.
◦ There was a time, when Victor saw the other man gambling away his entire fortune, leading to a self-destructive path of isolation and despair. Witnessing such a brilliant man descend into darkness was tragic but not puzzling. After all, immortality had bestowed them with endless time but had stripped away the urgency that gave life its flavor.
◦ Bing Shi took the opportunity to call the authorities, "Hello? This is Shina Night. I would like to report a violent fight between Victor Egerton and Leon Russel here at [location]. Please send immediate help."
◦ She returned to her dorm like Ru Quan wanted her to. Did he just sacrifice his centuries of friendship for her sake? It sure sounded like that.
◦ She used the open window to sneak inside again and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. To her surprise, there was a wooden basin with herb water, |"I thought you are busy fighting with Victor."|
◦ |"I’m just buying a bit of time for you to pamper yourself. Enjoy."|
◦ Bing Shi quickly stripped off her clothes and rinsed her body before getting inside. ’What a beautiful life,’ she pressed her fingers against her cheeks, attempting to force a grin.
◦ ’~Mm, I’ve never been happier,’ Dai An nodded, smiling back at her reflection in the water, ’I don’t think you should feel bad about hubby’s relationship with Victor.’
◦ Releasing her hold on her lips, Bing Shi let out a soft sigh, ’I feel a bit conflicted. It’s just that I don’t want to cause any strains to their relationships.’
◦ She submerged herself under the water, pressing her hands against her temples, ’I’m mainly speaking about Lu Kai. I hope their decision to cast him aside won’t create a ripple between them.’
’~You worry too much. Hubby grew stronger, not only physically but also mentally. Instead of fighting for your attention, he is thoroughly enjoying you with every fiber of his being.’
◦ The unexpected sensation of water entering her nostrils made her cough and sputter. Something quickly reached out, grasped her arms and pulled her up.
◦ Bing Shi’s chest heaved as she coughed out the water that had found its way into her airways. It mirrored the feeling of being overwhelmed by the burden she perceived herself to be.
◦ Dai An pulled Bing Shi upward just enough for her head to break the surface of the water in the basin, ’~Are lots of souls suffering right now?’
◦ Bing Shi shrugged her shoulders as she turned back to normal, ’I wouldn’t call it suffering. There is a raw, unfiltered storm of emotions crashing into me from every direction. It’s my role to wade through this emotional torrent. To maintain a sense of balance I have to tolerate it all without letting it consume me.’
◦ Dai An was grateful that there was something that would spare her of that burden without expecting anything in return — her soul. Bing Shi’s struggles with controlling magic now made perfect sense to her. She suddenly felt bad for not helping Bing Shi when she asked for it.
◦ Given the relentless tidal wave of emotions Bing Shi was submerged in —the act of mastering even the most basic spells or cultivation techniques was akin to scaling an impossibly steep cliff without any footholds.
◦ The connection between her and Bing Shi was more than that of a soulmate. They were like twin flames, or maybe even more — they did not have feelings of fear or insecurity in their relationship — the most they would ever seek was to heal each other on a divine level.
◦ It was quite likely that her husband felt the same way towards Xuan Mu, Ru Quan, Ziek, and Lu Kai as well — his soul established a sanctuary of safety and comfort, a space where they would feel truly complete and understood.
╔═══ Author’s note ════╗
I remember someone had asked me once if there would be a stronger bond between Xuan Mu and Bing Shi than that of soulmates since they weren’t ones in the beginning. Something like twin flames, which is believed to be a stronger bond.
Bing Shi’s and Xuan Mu’s natures are too contrasting to be twin flames, but the same couldn’t be said about Dai An, Ru Quan, Ziek, and Lu Kai, who have a deep understanding of each other’s thoughts and feelings as they are basically extensions of one another.
Dai An being Bing Shi’s twin flame would make much more sense. Just the words "twin" + "flame" portray their relationship perfectly.🤣
Xuan Mu survived for this long only because he had Ru Quan, Ziek, and Lu Kai by his side. 😮💨 Imagine if he had to take care of Stinky Bun on his own, that guy would have collapsed after a week. 🙈
