The next morning Lucas woke up with a fresh energy. His body felt light and made him feel like as if he could move like a feather ๐™›๐‘Ÿ๐‘’e๐˜ธ๐‘’๐—ฏ๐˜ฏ๐—ผ๐˜ƒel.๐’„๐’m

He quickly got dressed and went downstairs, where he found the dormitories empty. There was nobody to greet him and he thought it was strange. He walked towards the door leading outside and stepped out.

As he looked around, he realized that they were in a forest. Trees surrounded him on all sides and everything seemed peaceful. On the pathway, he saw a horse carriage that was being pulled by two horses.

[System activated]

[New Mission: Activated]

The notification appeared in front of him and he blinked several times. Suddenly, a new mission popped up in front of him, and he read it out loud, [You have been given a quest to reach the location indicated below. You must reach this place by sunset to complete the quest. Failure to do so will result in a penalty. Accept the quest.]

He looked at the map and noticed that they were already in the middle of a forest. He rubbed his chin and thought for a moment. "Well, I guess I can't back out now." Lucas sighed and nodded. "Yes, I accept."

He went back to the dorm and saw all of his friends standing and ready to leave, "where you guys been?" Lucas asked.

"Preparing," Kali replied immediately.

"We have a new mission given by the system," Lucas glanced at Luu who was

holding a scroll.

"A mission?" Haya asked.

"Yes," Luu replied. You have to find the person called Avanti."

"Xina gasped, "how do you know?"

"Well, the system talks to me as well sometimes. I know more than you," Luu replied sarcastically.

"So, how do you know about Avanti?" Kalini asked.

"There's a lot of information in the system, but I can't access it," Luu shrugged.

"You mean you don't know?" Kali asked Luu.

"I only know about you guys."

"Why?"

"Because I'm your friend," Luu replied. "And since we're friends, I should be aware of your information."

"Well, we have to go now," Lucas said. He took his backpack and followed the rest of his friends.

Before leaving, Lucas looked at his master who taught him how to use and control his mana. Helped to collect a new avatar and was a friend that Lucas needed the most. He bowed his head, "thank you."

Luu smiled and nodded his head. "When you grow old, you'll understand."

Lucas smiled and said, "I'll remember."

"Bye, Luu," he waved.

"See you later, Lucas." Luu waved back.

Lucas turned towards the dormitory and looked at Kali who was about to step on the carriage that will take them to the place that the system had told them about.

"Hey, wait up," Lucas called out to her.

She stopped and turned towards him and said, "hurry up!"

"Sorry," Lucas nodded and jumped on to the carriage.

They were all laughing and giggling for a couple of minutes, a joy of positivity was in the air. Everyone avoided talking about their trainings and harsh work, but then Haya spoke, "I don't wanna ruin this moment, but we do need to talk about some events." Haya glanced at Xina.

"First of all, we still have an elf chasing after us," he paused and looked at everyone, "second of, organisation Raven is still unclear, and the third of," Haya looked at Lucxas, "the third of, has anything new happened to you?"

Lucas widened his eyes and then started to think. This sudden question was supposed to mean something, but nothing was on his mind, besides, "Malice!" Lucas flinched.

"Malice?" Kali asked and looked at him like everyone else did.

"Yes, there was a strange girl called Malice, we became friends and then she poisoned me."

Kali raised her eyebrow, "poisoned you?"

"She gave me a potion that would make me fall asleep. If it wouldn't have worked, then the poison would have taken effect and killed me." ๐‘“๐š›๐šŽโ„ฏ๐˜ธ๐™š๐˜ฃ๐š—๐˜ฐฮฝeฦ–.c๐’๐ฆ

"How do you know that?" Kali asked.

"I felt it."

"Wait, what?" Kali frowned. "Do you mean that you died?"

"No, not exactly."

"If you don't die, then how did you wake up?"

"I'm not exactly sure, but I think Izek could have something to do with it..." He looked at everyone and then added, "after that night, I had a weird dream about Izek. I was talking to someone, but in Izek's body."

"Who was this person?" Kali asked.

"I don't know, but he looked like me."

Everyone stared at Lucas, "what are you talking about?"

"I had a dream of another body."

Haya looked at Lucas, "isn't this the same guy we talked to last time?"

Lucas nodded. "Yeah, but who is he?"

"I don't know," Haya replied.

They all sat there for a moment, not saying anything but thinking. Finally, Kali said, "maybe the dream is connected to your future."

"That's impossible," Lucas said. "I've never had a dream like this before."

"Maybe you're starting to have dreams about the future," Kali replied.

"What does that mean?"

"Sometimes, when we start to think about the future, our subconscious mind starts to create a scenario."

"What's your point?" Lucas asked.

"It means," Haya replied, "that you might be getting closer to your destiny or whatever you call it."

"Destiny?" Lucas asked.

"Yeah, like..." Haya hesitated, trying to find the right word. "Like the path you're meant to follow, like your life purpose."

"Okay, I understand what you're trying to say," Lucas nodded. "But what does my dream have to do with that?"

"I don't know," Haya shrugged.

"I think I know," Xina spoke. "Your past is coming back to haunt you. I've heard stories about people having dreams related to their past, like they're actually reliving their memories."

"That sounds possible," Lucas said.

"I guess," Haya added, "I don't really know about these things, but maybe it's possible."

"Let's hope for the best," Kali replied. She looked at Lucas and said, "we should stop discussing this for now. We'll talk about it later."

"Alright," Lucas replied. He looked at Kalaini who was sitting opposite him and said, "have you ever had a dream like that?"

Kalini nodded. "Yes, actually, I had one like that too. It's normal though."
