Primordial Heir: Nine Stars-Chapter 93: Demonized Humans
Chapter 93: Demonized Humans
It was when the female Knight saw it—his eyes had transformed, becoming a sickly yellow with slitted pupils, reminiscent of a reptile. A fresh wave of terror coursed through her, quickening her pulse until it resounded like a war drum in her ears.
"De-demonized human?" she stammered, feeling as if her soul were about to leave her body. Never in her wildest dreams had she expected to encounter the most despised existence in the world. Normally, one would think it would be the monsters with their tendencies for destruction and slaughter, but the rise of demonized humans had shifted that perception. These lunatics worshipped monsters, and while that was already unsettling, it was far worse that they went so far as to transplant monster parts into their own bodies, transforming into grotesque hybrids that were neither fully human nor truly monsters—abominations, in every sense of the word. They were called demonized humans for a reason; they could morph their body parts into monstrous forms.
"Wow! I’m honored to be recognized, but do not call me by such a disgusting name. Call me Lizardman." As he finished speaking, his body grotesquely morphed before her eyes. Green, scaly skin erupted across his form, and a grotesque tail sprouted from his back, making him a hideous lizardman—a creature that should not exist. Madness danced in his reptilian yellow eyes, wild and unhinged, reflecting a depravity that sent chills down her spine.
The female Knight was frozen in horror, so paralyzed with fear that she wet herself. Yet, a surge of vigor returned to her poisoned body, and she began to crawl, desperate to escape.
"Do not come closer!"
The demonized human, now fully transformed into the lizardman, cackled with delight. He reveled in the despair radiating from his prey; this thrill was something he could never tire of. Slowly, he advanced toward the terrified Knight, who was crawling away, her eyes filled with tears and snot. Gone was the proud warrior; in her place was a desperate soul, consumed by the instinct to survive at any cost. It didn’t matter if she had to beg or if she lost every ounce of her pride—the only thing that mattered now was survival.
The demonized human savored the sight, relishing in the delicious nectar of her fear. It was a euphoric sensation, a dark pleasure that filled him with a twisted sense of satisfaction as he closed the distance, enjoying every moment of her torment.
The female knight would have never believed her luck to be so bad to be put into the same team as a disguised demonized human, one who could fully transform, he must have had a total monster’s transplants to be to do a full body transformation. If previously his strength was at the Apprentice Stage currently after transformation his strength was comparable to middle Adept stage mage. She stood no chance with her low level Blue Knight.
’How can he infiltrate the academy undetected?’ she wondered while crawling away. With its reputation and considered the number of powerful forces within the academy, they even had an Archmage, a demonized human should have been detected if he tried to infiltrate the academy and yet here was one, not only he infiltrated the academy, passing the trials, he even became member of the second strongest class just below the Special class, how was this possible?
Thinking about an academy filled with disguised demonized humans she felt chill. There was no doubt that there was more than one of them, she had to escape and report the situation. Because the academy was aiming to make this experience more vivid as possible, it was impossible to leave mid mission, you either accomplish the mission or die trying, after all even it was an academy, it was a military academy after all. She had to find a method, any method to survive, to escape and report.
After rummaging through her mind she finally arrived at the most plausible solution.
The demonized human frowned, stopping on his feet after seeing his previous crawling prey stopped and turn to face him. Although he dislike this development he decided to observe, everything was to prolong the fun as much as possible, well they have a mission to complete so he mustn’t indulge too much.
The female knight who had steeled her resolve looked at the abomination before her without flinching.
’’Please let me live, I’ll do anything you want.’’ she immediately started removing her armor, then the undergarments below she began slowly removing them, it could be said that why she was not an absolute beauty like the princess or Khione she was right below, possessing an exceptional figure.
The demonized human’s lips twitched in amusement, so he said.
’’Go ahead.’’ frёewebnoѵēl.com
The female knight bit her lips until it bleed. Inside her eyes, a little bit of hope could be seen, even if this was truly humiliating she still had do it. Slowly she removed her clothes, getting naked, even with the sun was high in the sky she felt chill. Still she didn’t hide her body and let the demonized human lecherously stare at her naked body, enjoying everything.
’’Nice body but nah I’m not in the mood.’’ the demonized human mumbled, the naked female Knight’s face fell, despair overtook her, she plopped down on the ground, it was all over she knew. The demonized human slowly walked toward the female knight who had given up.
The demonized human who stood before the female knight who had given, he chuckled and began toying with her, it started with small injuries before escalating. He toyed with her until piercing through her heart, she died with her eyes filled with unwillingness.
After consuming the fallen knight’s heart, he let out a satisfied burp. He then pulled out a black stone, fumbling with it as he mumbled.
"Time to join the others to accomplish our mission." He crushed the black stone, and in an instant, his body was enveloped in black light, transporting him to another location.
°°°
In another location, about forty kilometers from the dead female Knight’s spot, two males—a mage and a Knight—confronted two orcs, one wielder of the Law of Fire while other the Law of Earth. Together, they battled the monstrous foes, with the Knight taking the lead as the vanguard, spear in hand.
With their combined strength and flawless teamwork, the mage and the Knight engaged the two orcs in a fierce battle that echoed through the forest. The air crackled with tension as the orcs, hulking figures of muscle and malice, charged forward, their eyes glinting with primal rage.
The Knight, like a seasoned warrior clad in gleaming armor, moved with precision. He positioned himself at the forefront, spear in hand, ready to defend against the oncoming onslaught. His muscles coiled like springs as he launched himself forward, thrusting his spear toward the nearest orc. The spearhead met the orc’s hide with a resounding thud, but the creature barely flinched, its thick skin absorbing the impact.
Meanwhile, the mage stood a few paces behind, eyes focused and hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. Arcane symbols glowed softly around him, swirling with energy as he prepared his spell. He knew that the key to their victory lay in combining their strengths. As the Knight engaged the first orc, the mage called upon the elements, summoning a gust of wind that whipped around him, enhancing his next incantation.
"Now!" he shouted, and with a flick of his wrist, a bolt of fire erupted from his fingertips, soaring through the air and striking the second orc squarely in the chest. The creature howled in pain, the flames licking at its tough exterior, forcing it to stagger back. The Knight seized the opportunity, pivoting on his heel and lunging at the injured orc, his spear finding its mark once more.
But the orcs were relentless. The first orc, enraged by the attack on its companion, swung a massive club toward the Knight, who narrowly dodged the blow. The Knight rolled to the side, feeling the rush of wind as the club whistled past him. He regained his footing quickly, his heart pounding, and countered with a swift strike aimed at the orc’s legs, hoping to unbalance the beast.
The mage, not missing a beat, conjured a protective barrier around his ally.
"Keep moving!" he urged, focusing his energy on maintaining the shield while preparing another spell. The Knight nodded, his trust in the mage unwavering. He danced around the orc, evading its attacks with agile grace, each thrust of his spear becoming more precise, more deadly.
As the battle raged on, the forest around them became a chaotic symphony of clashing metal and incantations. The Knight and the mage communicated through glances and gestures, instinctively knowing when to attack and when to defend. With each successful strike and spell cast, their confidence grew, the bond between them solidifying.
Finally, the time for a decisive strike came. The Knight feigned a lunge to the left, baiting the first orc into a predictable response. As the orc swung its club, the Knight shifted his weight, pivoting to the right and delivering a powerful thrust to the orc’s exposed flank with his spear mass increasing thanks to his law. At the same moment, the mage unleashed a torrent of lightning, striking the orc at the same point. The combination of their attacks created a devastating impact, sending the orc crashing to the ground.
With one orc down, the remaining beast roared in fury, its eyes filled with primal hatred. The mage quickly channeled his energy, summoning a swirling vortex of earth and stone that erupted around the last orc, momentarily trapping it. Seizing the moment, the Knight charged forward, spear raised high, and with a final, fierce cry, he plunged the weapon deep into the orc’s heart.
Silence fell over the battlefield as the orc crumpled to the ground, defeated. The Knight stood panting, adrenaline coursing through his veins, while the mage lowered his hands, the remnants of magic fading into the air. They exchanged a look of triumph, the bond forged in battle stronger than ever.
"Together, we are unstoppable," the Knight said, a grin spreading across his face.
The mage nodded, a smile breaking through his usual composure. "Let’s keep moving. We have more to face."
The Knight then offered him a bottle of water, he hesitated to take for a moment before taking and drinking it. He ended up like a certain female knight.
