It’s been a while since Kent saw Li Hua. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

He had been too busy to be there when she was available. In the past, she emerged from seclusion now and then to spend time with him; however, Kent was either in seclusion or away on a mission.

This was why, after a few times, she decided to become strong enough to spend more time with him. In her eyes, she could only spend more time with her big brother if she was strong enough to protect him.

This would allow her to move around with him wherever he goes.

So when she awakened her powers and started to cultivate, she made her master, Nyxara, who happens to be one of the Soul Sentinels, take her inside the dungeons in the Legion Tower, where they had spent the last couple of years training.

Now, she had reached the Spirit King stage, something that caused Kent to widen his eyes when he sensed it.

"Big Brother, I miss you so much." Li Hua’s hold on him tightened.

"I miss you too, Li Hua." He indeed missed her.

After all, she was like a real sister to him from the moment they met. After he saved her, that bond only deepened, so just like how he would feel when he met a real sibling, he felt the same toward her.

Watching the two of them, Vexthra and Miryssa could only smile. It was Miryssa’s first time meeting Li Hua, but seeing how tightly the two hugged, she knew Li Hua was important to her man.

This meant whether she liked it or not, Li Hua would become her new favourite person.

Vexthra was already aware of Li Hua’s existence. In fact, she knew the reason why Gaia seemed to love money was because of Li Hua’s bad influence.

She liked money so much that after spending a few times with Gaia, it rubbed off on her.

After hugging some more, they pulled back, but Li Hua remained in his arms. Normally, this should be awkward, given that Li Hua is 17 years old. Unfortunately, she didn’t care, and because she was as tiny as they come, Kent was able to hold her rather easily.

"I have become so strong now, Big Brother. You can ask Master Xara; she said I can protect you now."

"Is that right?"

"Yes. This means I will go wherever Big Brother goes next."

Kent smiled weakly, already aware that letting her follow him would not only expose her to all kinds of danger, but her nature as an Atomic Body would be exposed too.

Of course, he could protect her and keep her close. However, who knew the kind of danger that would find him next and how unlucky he would become this time?

"I will take you out for sure. However, for now, why don’t I introduce you to some new friends?" He turned toward Fallon and Aysel. "This is Fallon and her sister Aysel. The other lady is Vika."

"Everyone, meet Li Hua, my baby sister."

"Hi..."

"Aysel is tiny like Li Hua," Aysel said, her expression brightening up. Looking at Li Hua, Kent could tell she seemed happy to see someone her age, even though Aysel was already over a hundred years old.

"They will be staying with us from now on."

Li Hua smiled and nodded. However, Kent saw her expression change slightly when she set eyes on Aysel. Even so, she returned to her normal expression and continued to smile.

"Why don’t you go play with Aysel for now? Big Brother has some discussions to handle first. Afterwards, I will come play with you some more."

"Promise?" Li Hua knew Kent was as slippery as they come, so she was just making sure he wasn’t lying to her.

"I promise."

"Okay." He set her down. Aysel was already dying to know more about Li Hua, so seeing her chance come, she jumped on the offer and ran off with the tiny human child who seemed to have become one with the shadows.

Seeing them go, Kent could only smile. "She has become powerful," he muttered.

"Indeed. Nyxara said she has already awakened a part of her body constitution and bloodline. This allowed her to awaken a few hidden innate abilities and even advance her shadow cultivation to the peak of the Shadow Saint stage."

"That is a bit shocking, considering she started cultivating only a year ago. However, I guess someone with the Atomic Divine Body is already a naturally born assassin. I can’t wait for the day she becomes a Shadow Immortal or even a Shadow God."

"So she is an Atomic Divine Body... No wonder I sensed divine energy from her," Miryssa said with a smile.

Although she is no longer a wielder of a Pure Yin Body, she still has access to Pure Yin Ice, and so she could sense when someone has a specialised physique or constitution.

"People like her aren’t just born, though. They have a mission to fulfil, a mission that mostly concerns the Daos," she added, causing Kent and Vexthra to focus their attention on her.

"What do you mean?" Kent asked.

Instead of answering, Miryssa asked, "When you met her, was she on the run?"

He nodded.

Li Hua was indeed on the run with her grandma when they met.

"From what I know, people born with the Atomic Divine Body are destined to walk the path of the shadows just like every other assassin. However, since she has a divine physique, it means she was born to represent something.

When the day comes, she will embark on a life-or-death trial that will make or break her. I read somewhere a very long time ago that this trial usually comes when they are ascending to godhood.

But thanks to their nature connection to the Dao, fortunes find them. So people try to get their hands on them just so they can use them for their own good"

"Is that so?" Kent muttered and sighed. "She will be ready because I will make sure of it. As for those who would dare come after her, I will be ready for them. For now, let’s address our guest first so we can spend some time together. I miss you both."

They nodded, a blush appearing on their cheeks.

They were preparing to head to the 11th floor when he called. Now that they were here, there was no harm in spending a couple of days having some fun before heading back.

Kent turned to Vika. "So what do you think? Is the contract to your liking?" he asked, grinning evilly.

Seeing this, Vika trembled.

"Dear, stop scaring the sweet lady." Vexthra smiled and teleported to Vika’s side. "Don’t mind this bully, he just wants to scare you because you threatened to make him your slave. While that is probably your only mistake, don’t let him scare you."

"Vexthra is right, don’t let him scare you." Miryssa joined her sister. "In fact, why don’t you follow Lene? She will take you around the tower... I have a feeling you are going to love it here."

"You can join them, too, Fallon."

Vika had no reason to deny this offer. Vexthra grabbed the contract and gestured for Lene to handle the rest. She nodded and walked toward them.

As if they couldn’t wait long enough to get inside his pants, they grabbed Kent and teleported away. After they were gone, Vika and Fallon exhaled deeply, their bodies loosening up.

"W-Where did they go?" Vika asked.

"Probably to have sex... who knows," Lene smirked and grabbed the two ladies by the arm before jumping off the mountain, landing deftly on the street of Gaiaville.
