Chapter 1444: Preparing to Leave

After struggling for hours to leave, since he just couldn’t bring himself to put down Xandira, she finally fell asleep, so Kent decided to leave before she woke up.

The last thing he wanted was to find himself holding her again. She was just too adorable to the point that he wouldn’t mind spending weeks with her.

But since he had other things to get back to, he knew he had to leave the moment she fell asleep.

So after giving the adorable Xandira back to her mother, he decided to leave

"I will be going away for a while, so you and Xandira might not be seeing me for some time. However, once I get back, I will come over to spend some time with you two."

Queen Eirdis nodded.

"Also, as I said, if you need anything, just say the word, and it will be delivered."

After a few more words, he vanished into thin air. The next time he appeared, he was standing inside the Sword Tower.

Now that his second flame core had been formed, the next item on his schedule was to go back home to Planet Brymrr. His reason for going there, of course, was to seek out Inaya, who he was sure was the ruler Crimson Dagger talked about.

He had no idea how he would contact her just yet. However, he knew if he wanted an audience with her, he would have to go to Planet Brymrr, where he grew up.

Once he managed to make contact with her, his objectives for going would be addressed.

First, he wanted to see what had happened between them in the past. This was because he wanted to meet the last requirement so he could finally awaken his Sword Realm and break through to the Sword Emperor stage.

He may have the knowledge of a Sword Legend thanks to his past memories, but his skills were still limited by his rank. So he wanted to become a Sword Emperor and, if possible, reach the Sword Monarch stage before entering the Star Gateway.

Although he would still have access to Heavenly Sword Energy even at the Sword Monarch stage, his understanding of the sword would improve greatly, and he could harness his Sword Realm in combat.

That would be much better than staying at the Sword King stage, where he can’t do much.

The second item on his schedule was to ask for a favor. If he somehow manages to meet with Inaya and doesn’t end up dead, he would try his luck asking for a big favour.

The Heart Demon Curse, according to Gaia, could only be broken if his fate was 100%. As it happened, someone had taken a part of his fate during the Primordial Era.

Unfortunately, she had been trapped in a Calamity Zone that only swordsmen could enter. He was too weak to enter, and so were his friends and legion. So he needed someone who had ventured in there before to help him rescue Safira.

Lastly, he just wanted to spend the last few months before his big journey exploring the world where his legacy as Lord Genesis began.

If possible and not too late, he would love to find out more about his father’s background. He was a slave whose mother died the day he was born, so he never got to know her.

After he escaped, he was more focused on becoming powerful enough to rescue his family, still trapped in the slave mine. Later, when he became famous, the need to seek out his father never crossed his mind.

His focus was one ascending higher in the realm of swordsmanship. However, now that he had achieved that goal and even had a second chance, he would want to know more about his father and possibly find out more about his mother.

Although he was bound to meet immortals, demigods, gods, and even Supremes since he was heading to a Unique Planet, he knew he had no choice but to go.

So he started to prepare, making sure he had everything in place before leaving.

First was his appearance.

While it would be great to go as Kent Madson, he knew from how popular he had become; doing so would just be putting a target on his back. There was no way he could have any freedom if everyone knew he was the legendary Kent Madson.

So he needed a disguise. Luckily, he was once known as Jest, a handsome swordman whose legend had shaped the world of swordsmen.

So he tapped into the Soul Universe, and after a few tweaks, his appearance changed into that of his past self. He made sure every last detail was captured, ensuring his good looks spoke for him, since that was the only thing he could count on to get him into places not many could.

In the past, that was how Jest managed to roam the many worlds he had been to. He is a charmer, so getting into places was rather easy for him.

Of course, he also picked this face as a way to easily catch Inaya’s attention. There is just no way she wouldn’t recognise him.

After changing into a fine set of battle armor made to look more stylish than functional, he was left with only one thing.

He extended his hand, and his sword, Gaap, appeared.

"It is going to be a wild journey, buddy. You have to bring your A game, or else we will be cooked for breakfast."

The sword vibrated to tell him he had nothing to worry about. He lifted it and placed it on his back. Ropes came from his clothes and wrapped around it, forming a perfect sword sheath.

After making sure he had his appearance covered, he entered the Harem Tower, where he hoarded some fruits into his space ring. He had once roamed Planet Brymrr and knew just how large it was.

Also, it was now a Unique World, so there was no telling how much it had expanded over the years.

That was why he needed snacks for the journey. Once that was handled, he returned to the 9th floor of the dungeon, where everyone was still waiting for Unity to be done with her cultivation.

When he first appeared, none of them recognized him. However, that only lasted for a few seconds before his wives saw through his disguise.

"How did you figure it out?" he asked, curious to know.

"I have seen a statue of your old self before, so I just pictured you much younger and less handsome," Vexthra was the first to respond.

"I recognized the hilt of your sword. It scares me, so there is just no way I wouldn’t recognize it," Val said, and most of her sisters nodded, showing they also recognized him because of the hilt of his sword.

"That is a bit disturbing to hear," Kent said, and as if Gaap knew what he had to do, he transformed the hilt from a bony look that ended with a skull and eye symbols to a plain leather hilt.

Once he is gone, he will return to his original self.

"Much better now?"

"Yes."

They all came for a hug and kiss, knowing it would be a while before they would meet him again.

Kent told them about his meeting with Queen Eirdis. Once they found out she was indeed telling the truth, they all sighed.

"Her daughter is adorable. You all are going to love her." Even while he was gone, he still couldn’t stop thinking about Xandira.

They nodded at his words, but seeing how happy he was, they couldn’t help wondering if he generally liked babies or just Xandira.

They said nothing, but once he was gone and they had time, they would have some serious discussions. Although the universe was not at peace right now, knowing where they stood regarding having children of their own one day would be great.

"Just be careful out there, dear. A Unique World is not an easy place to roam. Even I wouldn’t slack off in one, so be on alert at all times. When there is danger, and you can’t handle it, Miryssa and I will be on standby to come to your aid."

He nodded.

He knew if worst came to worst, his goddess wives would come in handy. Even against a Supreme, Vexthra could hold her own long enough for him to escape.

So he would not hesitate to call for help.

"Kaizo, keep everyone safe while I am gone, will you?"

"Rest assured, Master, I will keep them all safe for you," Kaizo beat his chest, causing everyone to roll their eyes. They just couldn’t understand why Kent held that brute in such high regard.

After a few more farewells, he opened the portal and walked inside. His next destination: Unique Planet Brymrr.
