Playboy: Medical and Martial Master-Chapter 353 - 348: The True Dragon!
As the behemoth broke the surface of the pool, the very air seemed to thicken, filled with a palpable, terrifying aura.
BOOM!
After swallowing Sun Zhe in one gulp, the giant creature plunged back into the pool, sending waves dozens of meters high crashing against the cliffs, as if the very earth were tearing asunder. The Three-headed Snake, seemingly terrified, hastily steadied its massive body on the steep cliff face and scrambled upward as if fleeing for its life.
Atop the cliff, the Charming Blood Demoness's long hair and skirt billowed in the wind as she strode with graceful confidence to the precipice. She stood there, gazing down at the massive pool with a thoughtful expression. Vaguely, she could still make out a long, shadowy form twisting and turning in the depths. Faced with a sight that would have shaken an ordinary person to their core, the Demoness remained calm and composed, her heart unfluttered.
Suddenly, the pool's surface erupted. A magnificent dragon head emerged, its two intimidating golden eyes narrowing as they stared at the Demoness on the cliff top.
The corners of the Demoness's mouth lifted into a smile as she met the dragon's gaze from afar. "Little girl, long time no see."
"I've been looking for you for so many years. I didn't expect you to show up now."
"Why now? Are you interested in that little fellow?"
At these words, the Flood Dragon's eyes flared with a tangible, overwhelming killing intent. A bitter cold wind instantly blasted towards the cliff top, whipping the Demoness's long hair into a frenzy. Yet, the Demoness remained fearless; on the contrary, an indescribable excitement gleamed in her eyes.
"Come on, little girl!"
The Flood Dragon bared her teeth, casting the Demoness one last warning glare before twisting her massive body and diving back into the pool's unknown depths, vanishing into a deep subterranean fissure.
On the cliff top, Qing Kui glanced at the Blood Slaves, who were paralyzed with fear on the ground. He then walked gingerly to the Demoness's side, swallowed hard, and stammered, "Mistress... was that... the dragon you intend to capture?" 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
The Demoness retracted her gaze and nonchalantly tucked a fragrant lock of hair behind her ear. "We're leaving. Her appearance confirms she is still within the Dragon Prison Abyss."
Qing Kui asked, "What do we do next?"
The Demoness's eyes glinted sharply. "Prepare the Dragon Capturing Array. We will catch her!"
...
「An unknown amount of time passed.」
When Sun Zhe was jolted awake by a sharp, violent pain, he found himself lying on a large, clean stone slab.
Hiss... damn, that hurts... he thought. Where am I?
After a long moment, Sun Zhe grit his teeth against the pain and struggled to his feet. He scanned his surroundings, and his eyes widened in shock. He was in a vast underground cavern. As far as he could see, there were mountain-like piles of jewels and Jade, all glowing brilliantly like something out of a special effects movie. Directly in front of him lay another pool of water.
The memory of the moment right before he lost consciousness flashed through his mind, and Sun Zhe shivered, his entire body trembling uncontrollably.
The thing that swallowed me... was it really a dragon? And those eyes... were they the same ones I saw at the bottom of the pool?
SPLASH!
Just as he was lost in thought, the pool before him exploded. He looked over and saw the very creature of his imagination, and he froze, completely dumbfounded. Those vertical golden pupils, though devoid of emotion, sent a shiver down to his very soul.
"I... I'm Sun Zhe," Sun Zhe managed to choke out after a long moment, his face pale and his body trembling.
The Flood Dragon slowly surfaced. Her colossal body, reminiscent of a power station's discharge pipes, writhed gently in the pool—an overwhelming sight. She watched Sun Zhe quietly, her gaze seeming to pierce right through him. Then, with a sudden surge that created a massive wave, she swam out of the pool. Scrambling swiftly across the ground on her four sharp claws, she was in front of him in the blink of an eye.
As her sweet, fishy breath washed over him, every hair on Sun Zhe's body stood on end. He sat frozen on the stone slab, not daring to move, hardly daring to breathe. The tangible sense of pressure was nearly suffocating, pushing his mind to the brink of collapse.
However, Sun Zhe could roughly deduce that this mythical creature held no malice towards him. If she had, she would have simply digested him in her stomach instead of spitting him out.
In the silence, the Flood Dragon's giant head, as large as half a house, moved closer. She extended her tongue and licked the ghastly wound on his chest. Sun Zhe remained rigid, not daring to move. He slowly lowered his head and saw that the wound had already healed, covered in a layer of what appeared to be mucus. He figured it must be the dragon's saliva—Dragon Saliva.
After licking his wound, the Flood Dragon retreated slightly, looking at him with what seemed to be mockery in her eyes, as if laughing at him for being wounded by his own Sword Technique.
Sun Zhe gave the Flood Dragon an awkward smile. "Senior, thank you for saving me. I will definitely repay you."
He had no idea that this Flood Dragon had been watching him with her powerful Divine Sense from the moment he entered the Dragon Prison Abyss. Otherwise, she wouldn't have appeared at the perfect time to save him.
"Uh... Senior?" Sun Zhe probed again, mustering his courage when the Flood Dragon ignored him. Then he added, "Can you understand me?"
Unexpectedly, a deep and resonant voice emanated from the Flood Dragon. "Obviously!"
The voice was impossible to pin as male or female, incredibly deep and filled with a sense of ancientness.
Sun Zhe flinched, marveling to himself that this dragon could not only understand him but also speak. But then again... he thought, even parrots can talk. Why not a mythical, god-like creature such as this?
Sun Zhe adopted a serious tone. "Thank you for saving my life, Senior!"
The Flood Dragon suddenly spoke again. "You smell good. I want to eat you."
Hearing this, Sun Zhe's scalp went numb, and a bitter expression filled his face. "Senior, please don't... I... I don't taste good, and it's not worth it! I can be your minion."
The Flood Dragon tilted her head, seemingly pondering his words. She suddenly extended a claw and, with two digits, flicked Sun Zhe, knocking him down to sit on the ground.
"Then from now on, you are my minion."
What the hell? Sun Zhe cursed inwardly. I was just shooting my mouth off, did she have to take it seriously? I, Sun Zhe, am always the leader, not the follower!
But to save his own skin, being a minion was better than being dead.
"Okay, Senior! No, wait—Dragon Brother!"
The Flood Dragon couldn't be bothered with him anymore. She crawled over to the hoard of jewels and Jade, lay down, and closed her eyes, seemingly intending to sleep.
Sun Zhe quietly breathed a sigh of relief. He called out softly, "Dragon Brother, are you asleep?"
The Flood Dragon didn't respond, appearing to be truly asleep. So, he stood up and fumbled in his pants pocket. He suddenly felt his phone, and upon taking it out, he saw it still had power. On a whim, he quietly snapped a selfie with the sleeping Flood Dragon.
No sooner had he taken the picture than the Flood Dragon's eyes snapped open. "You should go," she said impatiently. "Stop bothering me here."
Sun Zhe immediately stood at attention. "Okay, Dragon Brother."
"But... how do I leave?"
The Flood Dragon said, "There's a passage under the water that leads outside. It's the place where you first saw me."
Sun Zhe's heart sank. He sighed inwardly, realizing the eyes he'd first seen truly belonged to the Flood Dragon.
"Don't mention seeing me to anyone," the Flood Dragon instructed.
Sun Zhe quickly put his phone away. "Okay, Dragon Brother!"
The Flood Dragon suddenly lifted her head, thought for a moment, and said, "Since you're my minion now, you should get a welcoming gift. You can take anything here."
"Uh... there's no need, Dragon Brother."
"Take it!"
"Uh... okay then."
Sun Zhe sighed to himself at how domineering the Flood Dragon was, being forceful even when giving gifts. He reluctantly walked over and packed some of the jewels and Jade into his Storage Treasure.
"Uh... Dragon Brother, I'm done. I'll get going now. I'll visit you when I get the chance."
"I'll come out to find you."
Hearing this, Sun Zhe's eyes widened in shock. "You'll come find me? But..."
"Enough. Scram!"
The Flood Dragon seemed extremely impatient. She opened her mouth and unleashed a blast of breath that blew Sun Zhe directly into the pool.
