The way they went, many more trees of bone appeared, some in indentations upon the landscape like the one from before, some upon hills, some upon flat areas, some bearing their roots directly within the remains of dead titans, each and every one of them bore the remains of livings who had ventured to the domain of the restless and never come back out, the further in they went, the more those trees bore their decayed fruits.

Soon enough, the scattered trees turned into woods, and then into a dense forest, bony corpses hung everywhere, forming a most unsavoury curtain to go through as one walked along the path through all the tightly packed trees, each so close to one another by this point, they their branches and trunks seemed to morph together.

Bones clicked and clacked as the duo pushed through.

One thing new that began appearing after stepping within these warped woods, were grey, beehive-looking growth that stuck the trees, corpses, ground, basically everywhere it could be, it was.

Nothing seemed to be within them, they produced no sound or movement whatsoever, but their presence also grew more and more noticeable as time went by, to the point that the corpses and trees eventually began to drown beneath them.

Until eventually, the forest stopped, leading way to a vast, empty space, serving as the outer perimeter to a skull larger than any other they had seen until now, using things like blue whales or the likes to compare held no meaning anymore as even these grand animals served no purpose in giving one the sheer size of the old remains that sat at the center of this forest of bones.

It's appearance was hard to describe as well, somewhat reminiscent of the skull of a lion or another feline, only that most of its fangs and most of its head had been shattered long ago, by the terrific strike of something perhaps even larger than itself, the pieces of this broken creature served as titanic props within the empty space that separated it from the forest.

"Would be handy if these skeletons could be reanimated right now, heh?" Maliah, who had stayed silent nearly the whole way, finally spoke up, despite being living, she did not appear even an ounce dehydrated or starved even after walking through a dead desert for days on end, if anything, the boredom of not being able to murder anything was what was worse for her in this whole deal.

Looking up into the split skull, the assassin cracked her neck.

"I suppose I should stay back again?"

"That would be preferable"

After all, it was best that they did not know that Loimos was in cahoots with a living, one that reeked of death, but a living nonetheless.

All by his lonesome, Loimos walked through the empty area, passing by shards of bones that were large enough to rival the size of The Graveyard, however, they hardly cast any shadow over their surroundings, for the split sun was positioned directly above this place, casting its blue light without stop, as it never budged from this position, at least, it had never moved since Loimos had arrived here.

Ascending the skull, which possess a slope that seemed to have been created through erosion, which just so happened to work perfectly well as stairs, with calm steps, Loimos reached the end and set foot within the cracked skull of the mysterious beast, finding that the inside seemed to have been arranged to suit someone's needs, as dust, of the variety that possessed the same texture as ash, had been brought in to fill in the hollow skull precisely up to the point that one could transition from scaling up the head to marching on flat ground.

Beneath that dust, a rather high amount of powerful restless laid hidden, but many were also directly within sight, many humanoids, but also more animalistic ones were here, all of their gazes falling upon Loimos, or rather, it was Loimos who stepped right where their stares had been directed since even before he had shown up.

"Intruder! You are brave to appear before our king-"

One of the humanoids, who was in possession of three pairs of arms and a ribcage spanning both the best and stomach, which was filled to the brim with a variety of skulls, he spoke first but quickly stopped before stepping aside, giving way of sight upon a figure unlike all of the others, seated upon a throne in a most lavish manner, which their head down and right hand raised up, all of the restless grew deafeningly silent and absolutely still instantly, even those who could not possibly see the gesture reacted with the same haste.

"Quiet, Xaros, you are blind to see the true nature of our visitor" uttering words of death tongue, the figure somewhat straightened up, resting their chin on one hand whilst studying Loimos.

"That is an impressive disguise that you wear… I myself would not allow for my regal body to be enshrouded by the flesh of a lesser being, but I recognise the trouble you have gone through"

The figure was much different from the other restless, dressed in a long, ample robe that definitely had not been taken from the cadaver of a living, it dragged on the ground and would probably still do so even if he were to stand up.

On his head, a golden crown secured right atop of the skull with golden chains, the design of an eye of sort visible on the front, his bones were larger than one might expect considering his height and size, but surprisingly, there was no sign of a mesh of different creatures or the strangeness of the other restless, the one upon the throne seemed almost like a mundane, humanoid skeleton in overall body structure.

But he was far from being simple, upon his thick bones, be it the jaw, the skull, phalanges or whatever else, there were deep, natural gashes, revealing a most magnificent gold within the pale white.

"My name, is Irlanx Xacobus, king of this modest plane…" rising up from his throne, the golden skeleton did not set foot upon the ground, hovering just above it as he approached Loimos, his robe fluttering majestically and softly.

"...These lands- I have conquered them all, destroyed all that inhabited it before me, why do you appear before me?" the king of all restless loomed over the visitor, no one dared to say or do anything.

"I am Loimos, an undead, and I have not come to challenge your rule, Irlanx Xacobus"
