Lotus Pond Moonlight Pavilion is one of the must-visit sights for students and tourists at Tsinghua.
Located on East Mountain in Jinchun Garden surrounded by the lotus pond, the pavilion was built to commemorate Mr. Zhu Ziqing, who wrote the famous prose "Lotus Pond Moonlight" here.
In 1927, Zhu Ziqing taught at Tsinghua University, and as a patriotic intellectual facing the dark reality of the time, he wandered in this lotus pond in frustration and wrote this essay.
In early spring, this place is not particularly beautiful.
Having just endured a harsh winter, the branches are still bare, and there are no green buds emerging yet.
I’ve heard that in summer, the pond will be full of lotus leaves, offering a beautiful scene.
Under the bright moonlight, Pu Sangzhi and Huo Feng arrived at the Lotus Pond Moonlight Pavilion.

The boy softly replied to the girl, "Then when can we meet again? Will you go back home for the New Year?"
The girl shook her head, "No, I’m busy with grad studies, spending the summer in the lab."
Boy: "Alright."
