"I shall take that as a compliment." Sophie Sullivan broke free from the two men and strode over to sit down in front of Frank Mitchell.

The appreciative gaze in Frank Mitchell’s eyes grew even more intense. He watched with great interest as Sophie Sullivan picked up the tea in front of her and began to drink.

Frank Mitchell took a whiff of the tea aroma. "Aren’t you worried there might be a problem with the tea you’re drinking?"

"Then I won’t drink it." Sophie Sullivan made a show of putting down her tea cup.

Frank Mitchell chuckled. "It’s good tea, specially brewed for you. There’s no problem with it."

"Thank you." Sophie Sullivan picked up her tea cup and took a small sip.

The taste lingered in her mouth.

She nodded. "Good tea."

Frank Mitchell’s smile deepened. "Is this how you also conquered Thomas Shannon?"

"Also?"

Sophie Sullivan put down her tea cup and laughed, her gaze fearlessly meeting Frank Mitchell’s. "Are you saying that I’ve conquered you too?"

"Of course." Frank Mitchell put down his tea cup. He stretched out his long arm, his fingertips gently stroking her chin.
