Chapter 709: Chapter 701 Family of Three (Part 2)

She had just agreed to Ji Chicheng that she would take care of Ji Mingyue.

Seeing her not leaving, Charles no longer looked at her, his gaze sweeping toward the servants who were cleaning, he ordered, "Drag her out."

His command was not something the servants dared delay even for a moment, they immediately stood up, divided the work, grabbed Anning’s arms, embraced her body, and dragged her towards the door.

Ji Anning struggled desperately, her voice almost lost in fear, "Mr. Charles, Mr. Charles."

Charles ignored her, gave her a cold look, his chilling gaze sweeping towards Ji Mingyue.

Ji Anning was dragged to the door, her hands clinging to the doorframe, but in just a moment, she was still dragged out.

Only after the door closed was she released, but the doorway was strictly guarded by several people, she had no chance to get close.

"Get out, you demon, you old demon."

Inside the room, Ji Mingyue’s roar could be heard, she was struggling, resisting.

Ji Anning was so anxious she didn’t know what to do, she couldn’t get through the door, she hurried down the stairs, and ran out the front door, the season was cold in Country Y, she was dressed thinly, trembling in the cold wind, her tremors became even more severe.

Running to a spot directly across from Ji Mingyue’s room, she looked up, this was European-style architecture, the building was much taller than Chinese-style ones, and Charles’s house had extremely secure construction. So there was no way she could climb up on her own.

"Ah... Mmm..."

Ji Mingyue’s heart-wrenching cries floated from the second-floor window, Ji Anning felt helpless, her face pale, pacing barefoot on the spot.

"I’m willing, I’m willing to marry you in place of my auntie," she said.

Her voice at the back was noticeably weaker, she dropped her hands, lowered her eyes, bowed her head, and muttered to herself, "I am willing to marry you in place of Ji Mingyue."

"Have you thought it through?"

Charles’s voice came down from the second floor.

He leaned on the windowsill with one hand, looking down at Ji Anning standing below, his deep blue eyes still filled with a killing intent.

Ji Anning didn’t look up at him, she just nodded, "Yes, I will marry you in her stead, you... let her go."

"Alright."

Charles’s lips curled up smugly, then he turned and went back into the room.

Ji Anning also hastily entered the house, went upstairs, the servants had just finished cleaning the room, they were retreating one by one, Anning stood at the door, saw Ji Mingyue lying disheveled on the bed, staring unblinkingly at the ceiling.

Her face was the color of death.

She opened her mouth, her steps trembling as she walked over, approached her, "Auntie."

"Go away, I don’t want to see you." Ji Mingyue’s eyes moved, her cold gaze looking towards Anning, tears still hanging at the corners of her eyes.

Her neck was covered with kiss marks.

Anning pursed her lips, slowly bent down, extended her hand to Ji Mingyue’s collar, pulled her clothes up, her hand pausing on her chest, gently patting to comfort her, "It’s okay now, it’s all right."

Ji Mingyue gave her a cold sideways glance, "Ji Anning, by what right do you marry Charles in my place? What are you to me?"

Anning said, "Charles... Charles is trying to use you to deal with the Ji Family."

Hmph!

Ji Mingyue let out a cold snort, "Then I’m willing to, better than you and Ji Chicheng monopolizing the Ji Family."

Right now, she was convinced that she and Ji Chicheng were the murderers of her father, she wouldn’t try to explain that now, because it was simply not clear, even sometimes she thought so herself.
